DealGenius, yet another daily deals site (never heard of them before?!), is currently hosting a $1.99 sale – which means everything on their site is $1.99 shipped. The only item that caught my eyes is this Lekue Silicone Bundt Cake Pan (Grey) which normally retails for $15, so seems like a steal at $1.99 shipped! This site also accepts Paypal payments.

I have been using the same, faithful silicone bundt for over 5 yrs now!
I make this fab coffee cake, using a kicked up boxed mix folks love in our engineering office. So glad I can put ole’faithful out to pasture 🙂

    Gotta Love this site!

  37. Daphne

I ordered 4,1 for me and 3 as gifts for Christmas. Thanks

  38. Bonoca

I’ve read complaints about people saying their baked goods taste like rubber/plastic. I’ve always avoided these types of silicone pans for fear of the plastic leaching in the food. The price is great, but I just wouldn’t want to risk it.

    • Janet

I am with you. I sold all mine in a garage sale.

  39. Evelyn

Thank you Collin for this post and Katie for the Code. It worked! I ordered 5 different items. I finally get to use a Bundt pan for the first time ever.

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

In for 4 for gifts, thank you

Here is the simple recipe for the coffeecake I mentioned aboe-I make it several times a month for our office.
1 box DHines Classic Yellow Glaze
1 small box instant vanilla pudding 1 c. 10x Sugar
    4 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vanilla Few drops milk
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. Canola oil
1/2 c. packed lite brown sugar & 1 Tbls. cinnamon(or more to your liking)
chpd pecans(as many as you like)

    350. Spray your new silicone bundt pan 🙂
Combine brwn sug & cinnamon & pecans if you’re using them) in small bowl-sit aside. This is the streusel.
Combine all above cake ingedients in your kitchenaid, beat on low 1 min. Scrape sides.
Now hit medium and beat 2 more minutes. Pour half batter in pan. Sprinkle streusel over top. Pour in remaining batter and pop in oven for approx. 58 min. When done, remove from oven, wait about 8-10 min and invert cake on serving plate.
When cake has cooled COMPLETELY, combine 10x sugar & vanilla and begin adding a few drops milk until barely smooth. If you add too much the glaze will run right off the cake!
You want it a bit thick so you can drizzle with a fork over top.
This cake is nice & moist and keeps for several days. It also has a heavenly cinnamon fragrance.
