You’ll also be able to answer “Info questions” that will help them better match you with more opportunities. How do you earn cash rewards? You can earn cash by earning top awards as a result of providing meaningful responses in discussions and participating in discussions daily. Also, once you reach level 5 you will receive a 5% cash bonus for every $10 you earn.

1.) Just head on over here and sign up for a Crowdtap account with your Facebook account
2.) Answer a few polls (click on Quick Hits) to help brands target you by your interests
3.) View Opportunities and participate with the brands and offers that interest you
4.) Earn status, rewards, and charity – the more you do, the more you get, the more you give!

How do the Rewards Work?

After your account reaches at least $10, you’ll be able to redeem your earnings in the following ways…

*Cash Rewards – Certain activity launched by brands will earn you cash rewards.
*Gift Cards – Your Crowdtap cash can be redeemed for Amazon.com gift cards
*Help Charities – You can choose to help your selected charity
*Free Products – Some activities will also offer free products and other goodies

Keep in mind that you’ll need to earn at least $9.99 before you can “redeem” your earnings (you’ll just click on the “redeem link at top”) AND 5% will automatically go to the charity you select on signup which Crowdtap will match. Then just choose to donate the rest to a charity or get an Amazon gift card e-mailed to you!

Also, the points you earn determine your “level” and each level you obtain gives you privileges on the site and showcases your accomplishment. However, keep in mind that points and dollars are completely separate in Crowdtap. Points will help you level up, unlock badges, and compete with your friends while moving up the leaderboard. Dollars translate to real money and can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards or donated to your selected charity. Individual actions can earn you points, dollars, or both but points and dollars are not directly related to one another.

how long do you have to keep up with crowdtaps before you finally get these cool items? I haven’t had one yet!

    • Savannah

I haven’t received anything yet either and I am level 6.

      • Brenda

Me too. I am starting to this this site is a scam

        • Charlotte

It’s not a scam I’ve made $21.00 with them soo far!

          • Rachael

I hate to say it but I also don’t understand how this works. I am level 5 and still have not even been offered anything. I haven’t had any quick hits about Old Navy, so that can’t be it.

          • Alea

How have you made so much? I joined around the beginning of the year. Level 6 and only $5!

            • Charlotte

I’ve earned it by doing webshares, getting random quick hit bonuses and from earning the promoter badge($5.00)

  2. Bonnie Lacroix

I have applied for everyone of them and even received the screen that says you were accepted but have never received the products so I am beginning to think that screen is wrongly worded…I am just now a level 4.

    • Alea

Yes it is and I have left several comments that they need to change the wording to “you MAY be selected” not that you are selected. There is a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. :/

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Level 4 here- I was excited to see something under “new actions” and it was just an invite to a discussion about video games, of which I have no interest! I was thinking that to them I am too old (38) for the Old Navy stuff, but I wonder why they think I am a target for video game interest? I’m starting to feel kind of silly for continuing to participate in this site. I wouldn’t mind at least an interesting discussion!

    • Heather

I got the one for the game too. I would rather have free flip-flops, but I play games occasionally so I might enjoy this conversation…maybe. I think getting selected has something to do with which badges you have earned as well as random selection. Who knows?

    • Rachael

Maybe you are right and we are too old(I’m 39) to get any of this stuff but if I am too old then I just need to quit wasting my time with crowdtap

    • Carolyn

I am 24, on level 5 and haven’t recieved any invited for Old Navy so I don’t think it is age. I feel like I spend to much time on that site and get nothing in return. I am thinking of closing it soon.

  4. carla

they word it wrong. its always a maybe situatoin with this site, im a level 4 almost 5 and havent recieved any flip flop new actions.

  5. jackie

I gave up….not out of desperation or not getting invitations or anything like that, but because of their STUPID FB check policy. I’d get email notifications for “whatever”. Whenever I clicked it took me to the crowd tap page where I had to ‘VERIFY’ my fb accout by one of 3 methods, one of them being CREDIT CARD INFO!!! I wrote to them telling them I would NEVER submit info of a personal nature to them or FB or ANYONE that had no business knowing my personal details.. They replied that they are STILL in BETA and it is FB’S policy to verify that REAL USERS are using the site to maintain quality control, blah blah blah. I QUIT…PERIOD!

Lots of readers here have had opportunities though. So I don’t think they are a scam..

    • The Paid Housewife

They said that this is no longer policy the next day after many complaints.

    My Application is “Under Review”

    • lauren

Mine is “under review” as well. What does that mean exactly? Is there any way to tell if you will be selected and when?

  7. Deanna

Never been invited either and i’m level 6. From what i’ve gathered from others post on their FB i’m too old (41). =/ I am getting ready to cash out for my second $10 AGC, so i’ll stick with it! =)

    • Rachael

How are you getting any money? I am level 5 and still only have the original $1.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I would also like to know how some of you are making $$! I still have my original $1 only.

  8. candi

Ditto no flip flop invite 🙁 I’m like 100 points to level 5 and I’ve still only got $2 for charity which kinda bites.

  9. Caro

I gave up on Crowdtap because one now has to use texting to respond (we have an old fashioned cell phone that we only talk on) or put a credit card on Facebook. I don’t know why the credit card and I don’t have any idea how to do that. And, as a paranoid person, I would never put a credit card into a place where it could be hacked. Its too bad, ’cause I was enjoying the Crowdtap experience.

  10. Brittany

They did away with the cell phone/Facebook verify “for now” but I as well have never been selected for anything cool and I’m at a level 6 and only have $3 for charity. I participate in almost every single thing I’m able too!

  11. Dianna

I didn’t have it either. bummer.

  12. cyndi

I deleted my account with crowdtap this morning. I’m sick of their emails, and jumping through hoops for nothing. I’ve been a member for 3 months, I’m at level 3 with $1 and I can’t donate it to charity because it’s not enough. So I gave up. I do other survey sites and get a lot more. I’m not wasting my time on them anywamore.

Btw, when I deleted my account they never asked why.
