I was able to get two of these today. They had them in pink and blue. They were not marked on any type of sale or clearence. I scanned them at the magic coupon machine and sure enough they were on sale for $7.99. I was able to get the ecb too!!! What a deal!

i whent to my cvs im out in the country in texas the only big stores in my area are like 5 minutes away 1 is H-E-B 2nd one CVS lol brand new whent to CVS and they did have a lot of straightners i bought 2 and my mom got 2 one is for me the rest will be gifts for my sister in laws
Found one in Orlando on clearance for $7.99 so after ECB only $2.99!! It’s a little smaller than the one I use but I’m holding on to it as an “emergency” back up. Never know when my current one may decide to up and die, and I don’t want to risk having a major bad hair day if I get caught off guard!

I think it’s awesome that y’all got great deals. Bummed that our CVS was out but walked around while I was there and picked up a Oral B rechargeable toothbrush normally 94.99 got it at $23.74. I found that deal last week and had a $5.00 off $25.00 CVS coupon to go with it(used a $1.00+ filler item). My husband was so happy, he had been wanting one of these. I think you will like it, they work great !
I have some coupons for the replacement heads here at home…and some ECB’s and a 25% off coupon to use, too. Will have to check out Sunday’s ad and get a list going! LOL! Was just fixing to order a new electric toothbrush for my daughter who has braces and this will work perfect for her!! (Has a small round head on it!) Will maybe save the other for a gift??? Yes, it worked for me! and then i used the $5 to get another $5 ecb back by buying gatorade items, you should check it out. They also do it on the gatorade smoothies, 2 for 5 and get $5 ecb’s back!

OMG. I just had a TERRIBLE experience at CVS. After calling every CVS in my area, I drove across town to get one at a store that had some left. I purchased the straightener and the ecb printed and the cashier ripped it off of my reciept. I explained the ECB thing and she said not on clearance. I said it printed and you tore it off. I explianed that every cvs in this country is generating the scb and if it prints it shouldn’t be up to each cashier if they want to tear it or not. She called the manager who told me, “If they will give it to you at another store, go there and get it.” HOW RUDE!!! I am so mad. Don’t even know what to do.
Just go onto CVS.com and print off your ECB.
Then log on to cvs.com and click on Extra Card card at the top. You will be able to reprint any ECBs you have not used, meaning the one she rudely tore up.

Wow! That is rude! I would definitely report that to CVS, I mean they are running a campaign on not being a “ECB waster”.

my store was out, but there was a tag saying you would not get the ECB on clearance items – but I cannot imagine her ripping it up – rude – call their main office just to let them know of their rudeness, that’s intolerable

Wow! That was RUDE. I can’t imagine how I would react if they do that to me. I went yesterday and got two, but only one $5 EB printed, so I told the cashier that the limit per household was two and he said he was sorry it didn’t print, and just printed it for me. 🙂
Tiffany, it’s ok just go to your online extra care account and print that 5 extra bucks. If they only tore it up and didn’t use it, it should be there, if not today then tomorrow. The feature is for when you lose extra bucks. Or you could call cvs customer service and let them know about your experience.
My store had one left but at 50% off ($15.99). I got it because with the $5 ECB that is still a pretty good deal. A little bummed it wasn’t 75% off; and I forgot to look at the hairdryers!
I got the Conair hair dryer for $8.37 and got the $5 ECB!It was the i series infiniti 1875 watt with blue, green, and pink. I thought I would mention the model in case you’re interested so you don’t have to scan all the hair dryers like I did 🙂

i WENT TO 2 CVS IN ELK GROVE, CA AND THEY WERE GONE.. THEN I DROVE LIKE 30-45MIN TO ANOTHER CVS IN LODI, CA AND THEY HAD 2 LEFT BUT THEY WERE ONLY FOR 50% OFF… I REALLY NEEDED THESE WE HAVE A WEEDING AND THESE WOULD OF BEEN SO HELPFUL AND CHEAPER THAN OTHER ONES… BUMER…VERY SAD…
I hate to sound like a witch, but really makes zero sense to drive 45mins with gas prices to save a few dollars. I always try to take into account the cost of travel, printing coupons and such and compare it to the savings. Sometimes running all over to get the “deals” is really no deal at all!
That’s true, I used to drive to my closest CVS, which is like 4 miles away (pretty close I think), but now they just opened a new store @ the intersection by my house less than 1/2 mile away, and now I only stop at the other stores if I am in the area. Now I am an even happier CVS shopper 🙂

I just scored an Infiniti Professional Series Pro Styler (Curl, brush and straighten with 1 tool). It retails for $49.99 and rang up for $12.99 AND produced the $5 ECB! Amazing deal.
ok so an even better deal. my blowdryer had a coupon inside the box for $5 off and heated styling tool. made two transactions. trans.1 blowdryer $8.12 used $8 ecb. paid $0.12 plus tax got back $5 ecb .
trans 2 got the straightener $8.24 and a mt.dew 20 oz ($1.69) total 9.93. used $5 coupon and $4.93 ecb (cashier adjusted it down) paid only tax. so i got all this for $0.12 plus tax fir everything. 🙂
If I buy one and get the 5 ecbs and go back and buy another with those ecbs will it print out another 5 dollars from the second one that I purchase.
I’m thinking it probably won’t. My local CVS weekly ad says “Limit 1 extra care bucks offer per household” for the Conair deal. I’m not sure how other people are getting ecb for two purchases. Maybe it’s different in other regions…

I had my daughter run over and price scan the item. It was clearanced for $7.74, and I got the $5 ECB. SWEET! I love it, thanks again for the heads up.
Went tonight and got 1 hair dryer and 1 flat iron at clearance prices of $7.99 each. Only one $5 ECB printed on my receipt though…not sure which item it printed for, only indicates Conair item. It was still such an awesome deal, I didn’t question it! 🙂 And to add to the fun, I got a free body wash, free bandaids, free candy bar, and a coupon for $3 off $3 worth of batteries…lovin’ CVS!!!
For this deal, you have to break it up into two transaction to get two $5 ecb.
Got 3 today but something strange happened! My first transaction I got a pink 1 and a blue 1. Same price & bar codes just different colors. Only 5ecb printed, not 10 as I expected. I showed the cashier where the limit was 2 and she printed 5 more ecbs for me. Then my second transaction I bought the third iron, another pink and 5 ecb printed no problem. My reciept even said I had 2 towards limit & 1 left. Strange but I’m not complaining, great deal!

I went to a different cvs and they had 3 left i got 2 for 7.50 total the lady let me return it to be able to save 5.00 on the 1st one. and when it returned to repurchase i got another ecb. Ill save it.
