Walgreens: The Gatorade Catalina Printed for Me! :)
So, my sweet hubby (oh how I love him! 🙂 ), went out to test the Walgreens Gatorade deal for me…
The good news, the Gatorade rang up for $1.29 at my local Walgreens… so $0.41 less than the price I posted earlier! Plus, the wonderful FREE Gatorade Prime AND FREE Gatorade Recover Catalina coupon did in fact print! Yay!
The bad news, my local store (according to my hubby) didn’t have any Gatorade Prime or Recover in stock. But I’ve got until 9/1 to use this coupon, so hopefully they’ll have some back in stock before then or maybe I’ll stop in another Walgreens later this week.
What about you? Were you able to score some FREE Gatorade products?!
Yes, I was able to get it but watch your cashier, she only gave me $2.49 and I didn’t realize it until I got home. I was putting other things on the counter when she rang that up. Another one printed just like you said it would….. Thanks!!!!!
I did this and rolled 11 times. Worked out to be $2.28 for the gatorade, prime and recovery each time. Great for soccer season in this heat!
you didnt need to buy the gatorade with it…just the prime and recovery.

My husband tested our local walgreens for me also and it worked. They would only let him roll it 3 times tohough. Good for us that there are 10 Walgreens in our huge city within 3 miles apart from each other.
This worked for me today too! 🙂 Have always wanted to try the recover and here is my oppertunity. Allergic to the prime so that goes to family members who also wanted to try. Rolled it twice….did not want to deplete their stock.
Glad to see some people are considerate of others and don’t go overboard with the rolling 🙂
My hubbydid it in Muncie, in. But they were out of prime and recover too. Do we have any idea how long the cats will roll?
Off the topic but I just got off the phone with YANKEE candle due to my credit card being over charged for the coconut bay basket item posted a few days ago and she said yes it’s true lots of people are getting charged over and over for this item. I got charged 5 times 3 today before I called. It’s an $8.56 charge and the product is not even going to be shipped to most of us due to it being out of stock she said the mess up was that it even showed it in stock and it was not. So look at your credit card for any extra charges and give them a call to have them removed.
Thanks for the heads up, I checked mine but I only had one charge for my order. Hopefully people check to see if they have any issues.
Worked for me. My Walgreens had an end cap overflowing with these items, I rolled 5 times. My cashier was a little worrisome, she read all through the coupon twice, but it doesn’t say anything about a limit per customer per day.
Side note: At my Wags yesterday, the Dove soap was working and it didn’t work today.
I did this. Don’t be too disappointed if you miss out. They taste gross! :). All of it, every flavor and we eat very healthy here so we like healthy foods.

HAHAHA!! I got the mango today….I can’t drink these things unless I am really working out – something about salt depletion makes them taste sweeter? But the “milkiness” of the prime is gross unless I’ve done my warmup….but I think you’re supposed to drink them 45 minutes before?? Anyway, excited to try the Recover (I usually have a glass of COLD chocolate milk after a run!) for freeeee. Training for marathon number four….so gatorade has my business!
My boyfriend loves these. If you drink them while working out like you’re suppose to apprently they taste pretty good. No idea why working out would make them taste better but thats what the boyfriend says! Thanks for the deal update Collin!
Maybe they have something that’s depleted during heavy exercise and that your body craves? Pretty interesting, will have to try it!

I actually got this deal before working out at the gym. I was really excited to try these out. The prime tasted gross but it actually help me work out better today. I didn’t feel as tired and felt like I had more energy. I didn’t try the G2, just the regular Gatorade. But I did drank the recovery in Strawberry Banana after working out. It was alright. To be honest, I was skeptical about these products at first and thought about the placebo effect, effecting how I felt about these. However, I found out that they really worked for me. So overall I thought the G Series Fit works pretty well. I’m hoping to get a couple more for my work out days at the gym. Sorry, just my two cent.

This is awesome! I’m a college student and we take field trips in my evolutionary ecology class (we’re always outside) so this is great for me especially since I get easily dehydrated. I bought a few of all 3 rolling them over and I still have some coupons left. I’m going back for more when they get their truck in.

I went today in MN at around 3:45pm CT and they were still rolling!
Call in my local Walgreens was out of the Gatorade prime and recover as well so the manager Said he cannot guarantee that they would pass any in stock before the Catalina expired. So he gave me a gift card for the amount that Recover and primee would’ve cost, Which was $6.24.
I almost wish my Wags had been out and I had been offered a GC instead! 😉

Worked for me in Miami,Fl BUT GUYS WATCH OUT FOR EXPIRATION DATES, am not sure if the date on top is a sell by date or expriration, but they were all expired or close to expiring (max a week) in the 3 stores i visited.
TRUE! My juice expires 2 days from now and the bites expire 5 days from now.
The deal worked in NW FL less than an hour ago.
The two stores I visited had bunches, and I bought 4 sets at each store with no problem.
I intend on using these pre/post workout, so they’re truly fuel. I’ve eaten worse, I’m sure.
The shakes are all close to expiration and the bars aren’t too far behind them. That’s why I stopped at 8 sets.

walmart coupon policy says they will accept FREE manufacture coupons, just not FREE interent printed coupons…

I got the Catalina coupon at a Houston Walgreens today.
Since the coupon is a manufacture can’t I use it at my local Fred Meyer or Walmart? My walgreens is smaller too and I wonder if I will run into the same problem.
DH just did it too and was limited to 3x. The cashier (young lady) said there’s a limit of 3 and it doesn’t matter whether it says that on the coupon or not..He was about to do 5 tranx..The manager agrees..oh well, some days you win, some days you dont..
I was the first to try it at both of my Walgreens in LITH! The cashiers said they were gonna do it on their breaks!!! They were both amazed like I had some super power cuz I knew what the catalina machiene was gonna do before they did!! it was great!!!
My dh ate one of the power bars the other day and he said it was great while it lasted and gave hiim a wind of energy but it had a major downfall when it wore off. I don’t know how you say that…like he had energy for a while and then hit a major brick wall. Just his reaction. Maybe not for all, but just an FYI.
Just had a manager tell me that I couldn’t use the coupon that it prints out on the free ones….. What??? He ripped my coupon up! What a jerk!

I got my catalinas for 2 transactions, bad news is they don’t have any, they clean shelfs because they where close to expiration date, so I guess they are giving catalinas to get rid of them, really bad….I have not try it and don’t know if I will liked after so many negative comentaries on taste….

I just did the deal once and the cashier kept telling me that I had to buy one and then get one free instead of both free! We went back and forth forever about it and then she finally said “well whatever, hope I don’t get in trouble”. Made me realize that a lot of problems with cashiers not wanting to take coupons could be because they have gotten in trouble for taking wrong coupons and such :/
I went to try the deal, Got some film developed and bought the first gatorade to see if it would work- and used my RR’s from the Dove deal yesterday so .08 oop. It worked for me, got the RR and I noticed then that all of the Prime and Recovers on the shelf were expired or about to expire, so I asked if they cared if I rolled the deal. The cashier said it was fine, and I got 11 of each of them 🙂 I never clear the shelves but this time I didn’t feel bad to do it.
Yea I won’t be wasting my gas driving around to get those disgusting drinks. Its a great deal though for people who do intense workouts and need it.
Hi I just wanted to let all you guys know to check you dates I did this deal 18 times and no I didn’t clear any shelf they had an indcap full of just the recovery and prime any ways I got home to figure out they was expired so I took them back in hopes to find some not expired but did not instead he gave me cash back I tried to tell him I dont think he could give cash back because I used coupons but he insisted that they would be reimbursed for the coupons and it was okay so I made over a hundred dollars on this deal 🙂 talk about a great post! You should NOT have gotten money back for the free products you got. That is coupon fraud.
She tried to tell the manager not to. If he said its ok, then its ok. Even walmart says that if you buy an item with a coupon and you return it you will get full price back because they will get paid for the coupon. Its not like she tried to screw them over, it just happened. If she had thought to herself “I’m going to get these cuz they are expired and I am going to bring them back and get paid cash” then yeah, that would be fraud but she was trying to be honest about it. Am I the only one who didn’t know that these other products were not drinks? DOH! Lol. I only did the coupon once because I knew no one in my house would use those other products but if you will, this is a great deal!
I did this in Utah! Worked like a charm. My local walgreens had quite a bit of them too. I only did it 8 times and then I gave my remaining catalina to an older lady who was trying to do coupons and I walked her through how to do it. Not sure if these will taste good but hey, I only paid tax ($0.19 for each transaction) Even if they taste like crap it was worth a try. Plus I’m pretty sure my husband will drink/eat them. He is not picky what so ever. 🙂 Good luck everyone!
My wife, who loves your site, showed me this coupon deal and asked me to try it on my way home. My daughter and I went through the line late in the evening and ran back through 4 more times before they ran out of the drinks. The cashier was laughing the whole time. Thanks again!
Got some these are only good if you are working out. Not for a snack! I work out and they have high levels of protien thats why they taste so bad 12 grams in the drink like 4 in the bar. work out its good for you. Dont work out waste of time choking it down. Anyone dont want theres ill be glad to take them off your hands I use them everyday> Thanx all.
i did this deal 25 times, i bought a 20oz garotade,and got 50 bottles, but, my store,is not pickie, so she said , keep doing it till, it wont let you do it no more, but i stop after 25 times, so i came home with 50,,,,son will be happy, he is a sports nuts loves this stufff, it is priced at 3.79 each, that is a hell of a deal….i am going to put up picture on hip2 save FB…happy camping i am….

Just not fun to check out the two times I did it because the coupon beeps, then the cashier has to enter it manually, and the fact of both items being free is questioned.
Will be worth it if the Prime gives me energy, and someone else here likes the Replenish.
If I was a Gatorade drinker I’d keep rolling this deal until they ran out and then turn around and donate the product somewhere. Too bad they don’t have a zero calorie drink like Powreade hass!
What a great deal! My husband mountain bikes daily and in this heat, has been downing the gatorade. This really helped us stay on budget and still get him what he needs!
Did not work for me in Iowa. I purchased a 20 oz. Fruit Punch. I wonder if it would work if I just bought a prime and recover since this is rolling?

This worked for my friend at the same Walgreens earlier today and she got fruit punch. I purchased the yellow lemon one and it didn’t work for me around 10PM the same day at the same walgreens.

I tried it @ noon today, and it gave me the free coupon for the Prime and the Replenish. I asked the manager if he minded me getting a lot of them, and he was very nice and told me to do it as much as I could. However, he didn’t think that it would give me another free one when I used the free one. And he was right! I used the free coupon for the 2, had to pay .23 cents for tax, and it didn’t roll after that. My BF loves these so it was still a good deal…but I am just curious, did anyone else pay the tax?
Usually you always have to pay the tax on an item thats free with a coupon. And usually the tax is on the full price, but I think it depends on your state?
I tried it today in Ohio at about 12:30 pm, and it didn’t work 🙁 Not sure why… I was pretty disappointed.
