The description sounds like they have a bit of arch support but I’m wondering what others opinions are. I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis and could really use something to wear around the house that has a bit of support.

Just thought I’d mention incase it would help you: I struggled with plantar fasciitis last year. After ONE trip to a massage therapist I have very little trouble now. I of course am intentional about my shoe choice as well. But it really helped me!

Thanks Nicole. I might have to look into that. I think the reason I’m dealing with it is because of my pregnancy weight gain. I’m hoping that after the baby is born and I ditch this weight it will lighten up. I am really bad about wearing shoes inside the house and I know that going barefoot is bad for it.
Me too both feet know. Cortisone shots and daily stretches are the only thing to help so far plus these great gel shoe inserts from heal pain.com
I had that ailment too – I did get a very good pair of walking shoes (ugly, but we were going to Europe and were going to do a TON of walking and the shoes were invaluable!) but for the house I wore Crocs – I know they are not very cute, but I could no longer go barefoot around the house and crocs were great for me summer and winter.
I had severe pain for about a year – and I still suffer a bit in the mornings, but its much better now.

I have bad news everyone. I was live chatting with Gander Mountain this morning because I found out I ordered the wrong size for my uncle. Ian told me that it was a typo and they will not be able to honor the $9.99 price on the men’s or women’s slippers. He was very nice and apologized many times. He said they would be canceling all orders as soon as they caught up. 🙁

i just started a thread on their facebook page. please go to fb and add to my post. i am beyond irritated with customer service. when i called and complained….i could tell they couldn’t care less. social media is the only thing that seems to get companies attn anymore

Exactly how I feel what a bunch of crock! I liked how they charged most of us too before they decided not to honor their sale price. Pretty sure it wasn’t a typo and they just didn’t want to sell that many at the sale price. It also looks like to me that they just created the “misprint policy”. Definitely not a company I want to support.
I 100% agree with what you said! The “misprint” policy sounds like they wrote it just before they sent out the email. It sounds very generic and last minute. And I bet they didn’t expect to receive so many orders for this and they are feeling the heat from the manufacturer. I guess they would rather please their partners than their customers. I will be shopping at Bass Pro from here on out.
I also received the email after ordering 3 pair as gifts. I did send Gander Mountain an email and encourage others to do the same thing, we probably won’t get anywhere, but I felt better letting them know how pathetic it was of them to not take responsibility for their own advertisements. If it indeed was a mistake, does nobody proof read before putting things on the site?
I mean proof read the Gander Mtn. site (didn’t want it to look like I was basing Collin!)

Wow. So really, I can understand possibly messing up the pricing of ONE pair of slippers but two? I won’t be ordering anything from them again. Hip 2 Save should post a correction. I may not have noticed this email from them and been wondering about my order.

Everyone – I just checked the “wayback machine” which is a website that allows you to see previous versions of a website. I checked Gander Mountain, and the last time the website had a major version change was in July. Sure enough, the “Misprints” section was there, and it says exactly what it says today.
Bummer !
This is the second time they’ve cancelled my order due to a “misprint.” No more business from me.
Wow. Unacceptable to publish incorrect price on not one, but two styles, take your credit card information, then send a notice that it was their mistake. Not a very honorable site. Will not frequent them in the future and will advise others also not to!
