I mentioned this deal a couple weeks ago in the Walmart Deals post, but this deal gets even sweeter as there is now a new $1/2 Orville Rendenbacher’s Gourmet Popping Corn (3-pack or larger) coupon to share with you!  The next time you’re at Walmart, keep your eyes peeled for a display (and possibly on the shelves) of Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowl popcorn 6 ct boxes priced at only $2.98.  Even sweeter, specially marked boxes also have 2 FREE Redbox codes on the boxes!  Here’s how you can score a great deal at Walmart (and possibly other stores?)…

Orville Redenbacher’s Pop Up Bowl 6 pack $2.98
*Look for specially marked boxes with 2 FREE Redbox movie rental promo codes on them
Use the $1/2 coupon found here
Final cost $4.96 for 2 6-ct boxes of popcorn and 4 FREE Redbox movie rentals!

Sounds like a good deal to me!  Come back and let us know if you’ve spotted these specially marked boxes at your Walmart (or any other store)!

*Note – You may find this display in or by the Electronics section (Thanks, Janette!).  Also, whenever you buy buy 2 specially marked bags of M&M’s + 1 box of Orville popcorn (3 ct or larger) in a single transaction, you can get $9 in movie cash with original receipt, UPC’s & the rebate form found here. You can get 4 movie cash certificates per family. Movie cash can be used towards a movie ticket or a DVD. Limit 1 request per envelope. (Thanks, SummerBob!)

There’s also a MIR available. If you buy 2 specially marked bags of M&M’s + 1 pkg Orville popcorn (3 ct or larger) in a single transaction, you can get $9 in movie cash with original receipt, UPC’s & form. You can actually get 4 movie cash certificates per family. Movie cash can be used towards a movie ticket or a DVD. Limit 1 request per envelope.

OH Awesome! Thanks…I’m going to add that into the post!

I know this is not the post to probably post this but I am new and was wondering, our Rays supermarket has buy one get one free with the specific price listed. If I was to price match at Walmart would they charge me that price for both or the price at Walmart and the other free. Walmart is defintely cheaper than even with bogo free offer. Please if anyone knows this answer post after. Thanks.

I know this is not the place to put this but was wonder how the buy one get one free ad match works at walmart. Will they charge me the price of the competitors ad or the walmart price and the other free. Walmarts price is cheaper even with the bogo offer. Thanks if anyone can help I am new to this. THanks.

    • Kelly

The Walmart by me charges the competitor’s price on BOGO items. I’m not sure if others do it differently though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Walmart will only price match an item in a bogo sale only if the ad states the sale price of the item.. aswell make sure u get the same identical item.. hth

    Hi Collin,
I’ve been able to find this specially-marked box at other stores like Jewel-Osco, so if it’s available at Meijer, you could Buy 2 Orville Reddenbacher Pop Up Bowls, on price drop for $2.50, use the $1/2, Get $1 off any 2-liter Soda. This would mean getting 2 6-pack boxes of popcorn, 4 redbox dvd rentals, a 2-liter bottle of soda for $4.96. Plus if you pick up some m&ms at Walgreens, you could apply for the MIR.

    • BeckyW

I was thinking about the Walgreens m&m’s too, but I believe the MIR states that the popcorn & m&m’s must be purchased in a single transaction.

Has anybody used this coupon? I just came from Walmart and had 2 of these coupons. Neither of them would scan with the flatbed or handheld scanner so I they wouldn’t let me use them.

I’m a little bit confused about this deal and the “specially marked” bags of M&M’s. Does the bag of M&M’s have to say something about the deal for the $9 in movie cash? I just went to a few stores today and I couldn’t find any specially marked bags. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The specially-marked bags do say something about the $9 movie cash. I saw the markings on the front, right-hand side and then on the back it showed the two bags of candy + the box of popcorn = movie cash. I got my movie cash extremely quickly after sending the needed information in.

Does anyone know what the expiration dates on the Redbox rentals are?
