Dollar General: FREE Nivea Body Wash for Women?!
I just received the following email and picture from reader, April:
The smaller size Nivea body wash (8.4 oz) is on sale right now at Dollar General for $2 and with the $2 coupon (found in the 7/31 RP), it ends up being free! Just have to pay tax! These aren’t marked… I suggest going up to the register and having them price check them. I attached a pic, so that you can see my transaction!

There’s always donating them to your local women’s or men’s shelters!!
yes if ppl feel the need to get so many and score every deal, instead of hoarding items and having massive amounts of products that can’t possible get used. DONATE! if you get such a rush/high from free items, which is fine, give some away.

We also got $2. Q’s in the mail this week with our tiny samples.
seems a bit ridiculous, there is no need to hoard so much stuff. Ppl don’t need get every single deal, it’s really a mental disease!
Very true suggestion. Just few months back I took a huge box of shampoos, conditioners & body washes & a ton of other items that I had got free or for less than a dollar and donated to our local women’s center which helps out battered women and children. I only kept a limit of what we need for 6 months. Donating gives you a much more happiness than just hoarding
If it’s free, why not get every deal? And you don’t have to donate but can give it away as gifts.
i dont donate to any charities, but my extended family doesnt go unwashed!
why not get every deal? b/c I don’t have time! I get the ones I can, which is when I know I’m running low, then it’s time to stock up again. where in the world would I put 91 bottles of body wash? If I have six then I’m good for a few months.
Ever hear of sharing with people who have families and NEED to save money? Have some sense people! There’s more to life than BRAGGING about 91 bottles of body wash in your stock-pile. This is seriously a TURN OFF and I hope I NEVER become like that!
I took $600 worth of toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, etc to our local children’s shelter a month or so ago. It’s great to be able to give back without spending much (and nice for tax time too!)
I’m with you jess! No one needs 91 bottles of body wash, and if they only give them away, PLEASE save some for those of us with families that coupon to save money, not just to BRAG ABOUT BIG STOCK PILES. This is seriously a TURN-OFF!!!!!
Completely agree, disgusting! Not to mention, these things do go bad. After a while of sitting around for months or years they either lose their smell or they turn rancid smelling.

can you use a glade coupon off their site combined with a mfg coupon? Not sure if the coupons on their site are for thier store or are also mfg ?
Yes, their coupon policy allows for stacking.
My DG refuses to allow stacking, regardless the store policy. They just wont do it. I’ve even requested to speak with the manager, and wouldnt you know, there’s never a manager on site when I’m there.
Too bad the nearest DG is a drive for me. I love that body wash and I’m almost out!

awesome! just got back from doing this deal, my DG is approx 4
mins from my house so….the shelf was not marked, I had a cashier do a price check for me. It is on sale for 2 dollars and I was able to get 5 of these with the 5 coupons I had. and no, I didnt clear the shelf! lol
I did the exact same thing! There were two different scents at my store.
My DG is usually very crappy about taking coupons, but luckily everything went smoothly and my store also had two different scents. 🙂
I’m not sure when I signed up for it, but I got a nivea body wash sample yesterday and it had a coupon for $2 off a body wash or shower gel. Awesome cause I had already used the one from the RP!

Does DG carry the gel bodywash or just the cream bodywash? I really don’t care for the cream.

Yay! Just got back and scored this deal! The shelf was marked $2.50 but they rang up $2.00.
Also – you can get Gain dish soap for $.25 while you’re there. It’s $1 for the 9 oz bottle and use the $.50/1 and the $.25/1 DG Q!
I found the $.50/1 in the 8/14 RP but can’t fing the DG Q. I looked on their site and didn’t see it. Where did you find it? Thanks for any help!

I agree. I hate it when I hear people say that they have that much and they are still buying. That stuff does go bad! And leave some good deals for the rest of us if you already have more than enough. We are all on a budget these days.
yep cuz theres no possible way she accumulated all 90 bottles in lots of different trips! I bet she went to 1 store and got 90 at that 1 store/trip! geez people get over it. Who cares if she has 9, 90, or 900.
ok, if you all would have read it, she said that she has 90 in her stockpile from getting them from all the deals that she has found, meaning that she had accumalted them over time, not from shelf clearing…reading is fundamental people.

I donate anything I don’t need to adult group homes for adults with Developmental disabilities. They live on very limited incomes and in my state usually only have about $64 monthly to take care of all their needs and wants. This is a poulation of folks who are often overlooked. I am sure they’d love to have a nice bottle of body wash….
Has anyone been able to find the smaller Nivea body washes at Target? I have a $2 coupon and a $1 Target coupon but I can only find their $3.99 body wash. They had smaller ones that are $3 but I can’t find them anymore.
Does anyone know if Dollar General is offering another coupon this Saturday for $5 off a $25 purchase?
I was thinking the same thing. If I could pair this up with the $5/25 it might mean free (or close to free) toilet paper for me.
does the 5 off 25 come off before or after other manufacturer coupons. I was unsure how this works at dg.
I always give them my $5/$25 coupon first then I give them my mgf coupons and it always works as long as I give it to them this way!!

My store takes coupons (not sure about stacking), got my 4 bottles…had to ask for a price check like suggested. Worth the trip…gave the rest of my coupons to my bff to use 🙂

Went to one of our Dollar Generals an the price was $2.59 an $2.75.
Just looked in the ad and it says $.50 off Nivea in the ad so that is why it is ringing up $2.00. Hope there is some there tomorrow. I am taking some supplies to flood victims in PA next week.

I was able to score 7 bottles of FREE bodywash!!! I did not clear the shelf and will be using these in the Christmas baskets that I make up and donate! Thanks for the heads up!! I love free stuff 🙂
Oh my gosh, really can’t believe I scored this deal. Two scents were available so I was able to get 8 bottles of FREE bodywash and I still left the shelves with plenty on them!!! Ended up only paying tax but the cashier asked if I would like to donate a ‘food’ item to a local food bank…FOR SURE…Added 2 food items to my transaction and still left the store paying only $3.49 for 8 bottles and 2 food items. I was able to score 2 free bottles. This was great timing because my female bodywash stockpile is getting low. I have about 15 male body wash in my stockpile for my husband and son, and had only four for myself. It’s mom’s time today!
Did anyone check our the clearance while they were they? They have summer toys, gardening, clothes and other clearance 50% off plus Buy one get one free. Pretty much 75% off. Got Cars sand buckets for $.62, goggles for $.25, a bowling set and pirate ship sand toys for $1.25 each, rafts for $.50, and more!!! Great deals!! Check them out while you are there!
Thanks, I will have to check back. I saw this stuff but was driving by the store when I realized I had my coupons in the car. I went in with my one coupon and was going to purchase even though the sighn said $2.50, rang up at $2.00! The cashier studied my coupon and the product. I was not sure he was going to give it to me, but he did. It cost me .13 in tax!!! My 4 year old had to go potty, so no time to shop!
