has anyone actually gotten the rebate yet?

    • Jen

I just got this and there is no rebate. Did I do something wrong when I ordered?

  2. Maegan

is there a minimum that you can buy, or rebates you can apply for, the info didn’t pull up for the rebate, do you know if it’s one per household

  3. Ms Terri

I ordered the $10 about an hour ago…cancelled and signed up for this.

    • Donna Mc.

I ordered a day or so ago at $10 and received an email saying it is being shipped. I sent a response asking if they would credit me $1.06 ($1 plus the 6% tax). Walmart is usually good about stuff like this, so I will see what happens.

  4. Ginger

I got my set in the mail today and it was full of samples too!

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just ordered 3 of the $9.00 for my family for Christmas. If need be, I will ask a friend to use the multiple rebates. I am so excited, thank you for spotting this deal and telling us about it. I have to start Christmas shopping now, so I can afford to pay for it w/o credit this year!

    • Marilynn Walton

That might not work as you MIGHT have to have the sale receipt for the rebates…

  6. Kelly

Yeah I’m curious too how many rebates you can submit and if people had luck with getting them??

    • Alea

When I have done these in the past, it is one rebate per household address.

  7. Sarah B

Awesome thanks! I have been waiting for an update to see if the rebate card was included. I did this last time and bought one. Glad I did because I heard there were a lot of people who only received a check for one even though they bought multiples. Just bought one this time too because I don’t want to risk it if they only give you one per household.

  8. Ann

I got my rebate last time, but only submitted for one. Thanks for the heads up on this; only a matter of time until it sells out now.

  9. sabrina

the rebate page is not loading 🙁

    • Michal David

      same here

      • Sonia

        take the hip2save.com portion out

    • Collin

Sorry all! Just fixed the link! 🙂

    • Jodi

If you click on the rebate page from the actual post thread… it will load from there. Not from your email… Hope that helps. Ü

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are these available in store with the free subscription?

  11. Becca

I am confused on where I print my rebate form from?!?! Just ordered both sets!!

    • jess

same, where are the rebates found? online or in the package when they arrive. Anyone know, thanks!!

      • Jodi

From what i read… you can print off the rebate form but also it reads in the Allure page, that there should be information IN the package set concerning the rebate as well. I have not received mine yet… so not 100% on this, but that is what i read.

  12. Nicole

How many rebates can you get?

  13. Tiffany@frivolouslyfrugal.blogspot.com

Hmmmm. I would love to know too, before I buy this…

    • Megan

I purchased this deal the last time it was up. The card will be located in the item. It will tell you to mail it back for the free magazine or located at the bottom it should say return it with the receipt for a rebate. I filled it out and mailed it in with the card. All in all it took about 8 weeks for me to receive my check.

  14. amanda

when you send for a rebate do they send you a check in the mail or how does that work?? I have never sent a form in for a rebate before and have no clue.

    • Tiffany@frivolouslyfrugal.blogspot.com

Yep! They send you a check from whoever is offering the rebate. I would assume this one is from P&G but I could be wrong. When I’ve done rebates for things in the past its been a check from whoever is offering the rebate. Like Olay, I’ve gotten checks from them in the past! HTH!!

  15. Darcy

Can someone please help me? I just had the WORST experience at Walmart. I drove 20 minutes and carried my 5 week old son in a carrier all around the store shopping. I had 4 tide/ cascade/ febreze coupons and many others. The cashier rang up my order and after I handed her the coupons removed each item associated with a coupon then placed the coupons by the items. Ugh! Remeber I have my baby strapped to me… Ok so then she calls the manager because sone coupons were worth more than the item. He says thats ok, then he starts reading each coupon and tells me I can only use one coupon per purchase. I would have to ring up all 4 seperate transactions. I tried to explain a purchase meant “item” So he goes away and comes back and says sorry. Only one coupon allowed. This took about 20 minutes of me standing there. ( The cashier never even ran a single coupon through) so I was so mad that I told them to cancel my transaction. I wasted 20 minute drive each way, valuable coupon organizing and shopping time. My question is has anyone contacted Walmart corporate before? Is it worth is? I don’t want to waste anymore of my time. Thanks for listening to this rant.

    • Tammi

You could contact corporate, but, I did on another issue and they really don’t seem to care

    • Lisa

Absolutely contact corporate about that. I’ve contacted corporate before when I had an issue returning a piece of jewelry that broke after wearing it twice. They were very gracious, apologized, and gave me a gift card for more than I paid for the necklace because of all the trouble. It’s definitely worth your time to give them a call or e-mail them.

    • Mrspurple

I would definitely contact corporate. I have never done it, but last time I had issues at Walmart with coupons the manager apologized several times for the employee andI was told Walmart was trying to get their employees to undertand dealing with coupons (not sure if all Walmart or locally, they had an internal letter going around).

    • cw

Yes definitely call Corporate and give as much detailed information (managers name, cashiers’ name, etc). Make sure to focus on the inconvenience/cost/annoyance with a newborn child in a line for a lengthy time, etc. Tell them you expect a call back from corporate, not just the store manager. I’ve called twice and they never did anything for my trouble – they gave out giftcards years ago but the store is just so bad by me that they stopped! I made a point to tell them I have a SuperTarget less than a mile from their store and other stores and would not be returning unless Corporate management called me back.

    • JENNIFER RISINGER

I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE HERE IN NORFOLK NE AT WALMART. I GOT THE FRONT END CSM OVER THERE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PAY ME CASH BACK BECAUSE THE COUPON AMOUNT EXCEEDED THE PRODUCT COST AND THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT ONE COUPON PER ITEM, MEANT ONE COUPON PER TRANSACTION. I ARGUEED WITH THEM A LITTLE BIT THEN REALIZED THEY WERENT GIVING UP ON IT. SO I JUST BOUGHT MY STUFF ANY WAYS AND HUNG ONTO THE COUPONS. THAT INIGHT I CALLED CORPORATE AND EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY APOLOGIZED AND GAVE MY NAME AND NUMBER TO THE STORE MANAGER, WHJO CALLED ME BACK WITHEN HOURS. I GAVE HER THE INFO ON THE RECIPT SUCH AS CASHIER AND CSM AND SHE HELD A MEETING WITH ALL OF HER FRONT END MANAGERS THE NEXT MORNING EXPLAIING THERE COUPON POLICYS. SHE ALSO MAILED ME A $25.00 GIFT CERTIFICATE WHEN MY; COUPONS WERE ONLY WORTH 4 DOLLARS AND I GOT TO KEEP THE PRODUCTS I PURCHASED FOR FREE BECAUSE SHE REVERSED THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE NICE ABOUT IT AND JUST ACT REALLY BUMMED OUT ABOUT IT. AND THEY WILL TREET YOU NICELY AS WELL. GOOD LUCK!

    • Shelly Magneson

print out the coupon policy before going into Walmart or any other store. walmart states they do not limit coupons. if there is a limit of coupons on the coupon it will say something like 4 like coupons per transaction. this is seen frequently on P&G coupons.

  16. Rebecca

Just an FYI…the KID K’NEX building tub is in stock again at walmart.com for $10! I was FINALLY able to get one this time!

  17. amanda

so sorry darcy, I have problems almost everytime I use coupons but I will never give up because I have no other option but to save every penny that comes my way! Keep your head up!

  18. hil506@aol.com

It looks like you can only chose the magazine subscription or the rebate. Is this how you are interpretting it?

    • Rebecca

that’s what it sound like to me to do. either magazine or rebate

      • Rebecca

that’s what it sound like to me “TOO”

        • Collin

Yes, that’s correct. You have to decide between the magazine or the rebate.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Is it only 1 rebate per household?

  20. Dewdrop

I just ordered one for my house and one for my mom’s house so that we can enter two different rebates! (seperate payments and cards) Also the rebate is in the gift basket correct? Just checking!

    • Collin

Yep, the rebate form is find inside the gift basket! 🙂

      • Dewdrop

Thanks Collin I have saved so much with you and plus got quite a bit of my Christmas shopping done without leaving the house! I’m having a baby and my due date is 2 days after Black Friday, and I so don’t want to miss out on the deals! 😉

      • abirkemeier

I’m confused about the rebate form. Is it just the slip that says “special bonus!” ??? or do you print the rebate page from the site and send the slip with it? So confused!

  21. dianne

How do I get the rebate?

  22. kelly

If you got a rebate the last time this deal was offered, does this count as your one rebate per household? Or can I still submit for a second rebate?

  23. mackyjane

Can you go through ShopAtHome and get this deal as well? You’ll only get 2% cash back ($0.18 or $0.20) but hey, better than nothing! 🙂

  24. Leah L

So do we have to print off the rebate form and send it in?

  25. Kelsey

anyone try to get more than one rebate?

  26. Kristin S

It says it is valid until 09/30/2011 so does that mean we have to purchase by then or do they have to have the rebate form by then?!? If I buy today, I am not sure if I will have it by the 30th to do this. Anyone know??

    • anna6484

BUT please keep in mind, you have to make your purchase by 9/30 and then you’ll have 30 days to submit for the rebate. Also, you should spot high value coupons inside these gift sets as well. (as per collins post)

    • Jodi

It says you have to purchase by 9/30 and then will have 30 days from date of purchase to submit your rebate…

  27. Kristin S

Oh, it also says while supplies last and this started 12/2010!! I wonder if they will even be doing it anymore 🙁

    • ana

thanks for the heads up…I wouldn’t be buying it,as I highly doubt I would get a refund as they’ve been doing the promotion from last year.

  28. krista

Ok I just ordered mine, and I finally remembered to go through shopathome, how long does it usually take for credits to show up there, I realize the 2% on $9 isn’t much but I wondered when I’ll see it

  29. Julie

Does anyone know if you can get the rebate again. I purchased this deal last year around this time.

  30. hil506@aol.com

Still a good deal with a free magazine subscription!

  31. Kathi

Is there on rebate per household?

  32. Cindy

cannot buy them – I am just seeing pictures no add to cart button

  33. Molly

Thank you so much, Collin! This makes my day! 🙂

  34. Lyndy

Can someone tell me who delivers this package, usps, ups…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

generally from walmart it is FedEx

      • Jana

I have ordered two things from Wal-Mart (both in last 2 weeks), last week’s oders was delivered UPS and this week is coming USPS.

  35. Inga

im scared to buy it, what if it doesnt include the rebate! because it doesnt say anywhere about the rebate!

    • Melissa

the rebate is the alternative to the subscription. Since the subscription is worth 9.99 they give you the option to take the equivelant instead

      • Dee

That’s a different rebate. Collin posted the correct rebate form on the bottom of the deal.

    • Steph

You can return it to the store, and since the shipping is free, you wouldn’t be out anything.

      • Inga

thanks guys! so you can return it to the store with no problem? ill give it a try and buy it 🙂 thanks COLLIN!

  36. Irina

You need the receipt for the rebate? How do I get it if I purchase online? Do they mail the receipt with the package? Or I just print out the conformation e-mail?

  37. SenoraE

Do you have to open these to send in the rebate? I am assuming I’ll have to repack it anyway since it says Free Allure on the outside that I would feel badly if the recipient thought she was also getting that.

  38. MsAnnie

I just ordered the Venus Holiday Set, total with tax $10.52, final cost after rebate .53 cents, Thanks Collin for helping us with all these great buys.

  39. Melissa

is it possible to get both and send in one rebate and get one subscription?

    • yangzi

These kind of rebate offer is likely to be “one rebate per household/address”, so if you make 2 purchases and send 2 rebate forms (one for magazine sub. and another for refund) with 2 different address (no PO Box), you probably can get them both. Use your family’s address for 2nd rebate.

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can someone verify that we can spend less than $9 and still get a $9.99 rebate? I purchased the $9 one, wondering if there is not a limit you have to spend for PG products in order to qualify for this rebate? Thanks in advance!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops, should have said can you spend LESS than $9.99, not $9, sorry. And I have never tried to get a rebate with something I have purchased online, so how do we send in our proof?

      • Missay

the 9.99 is in place of the subscription so the price you pay has no baring on the rebate amount. Hope that helps!

    • Jodi

This is NOT a P&G rebate. It is a rebate IF you decide to NOT opt for the magazine subscription…

  41. Dee J

I was able to remove the coupons and magazine rebate form from the caddy without tearing it apart, if you’re thinking about doing this as a gift. I kind of tilted the internal packaging forward and slipped the form/coupons out. And the “free Allure” offer is printed on a card-stock strip of paper that wraps around the caddy and is only taped on, so you should be able to remove it. The one I ordered was the one with the Razor, Puff, Olay Ribbons, and Satin Care creme, so I can only comment on my experience with this caddy! Hope that helped!

    • SB

Since you already received the actual form – can we really mail them in after September 30? I did look on the link that was posted and it said offer ends Sept 30 (however, I have noticed on most rebates that it will say purchased by….mail by….). I am just wondering if the actual rebate card lists any of that. Also – how long did it take after you ordered the kit to receive the package? Thanks for any info!!

  42. Caitlin

Look at the bright side! If this rebate does not work, it WILL work for the P&G Pink rebate, where you spend $50 and get $10 rebate. 🙂

  43. Carol Bossman

i purchaed these for $5.00 on clearance after Christmas last year and I got the $10 rebate. I do not know if the same will happen this year, but I hope so.

  44. Hailey

Just purchased it and can’t wait to receive it! Thanks for sharing. I love Allure magazine and I didn’t want to pay just for the Allure subscription.

  45. Suzana

Can we double up with the rebates and submit for the $9.99 refund, then for the $10 WYB $50 pink P&G Rebate?! I read the fine print on both… Allure one only needs a “copy” of the receipt. P&G needs the original. Would that work?!? 😀 I’m excited now!

    • Inga

oh wow! your a genius. thats pretty smart! i would do that! 🙂

    • autumn1

what if i bought 2 of this offer, but for 2 different households, and want to include both in the $10 WYB $50 pink P&G Rebate? would that work? anyone know?

or do you think i can only use one of this offer toward the $50 total?

      • Jodi

Multiples of an item should work. The rebate doesn’t say you need to buy a certain number of items, just $50 worth. I often buy more than one Olay moisturizer (the same kind) and am able to get my rebates.

    • hotmomcoupon

what is the PG pink Rebate?
      Did Collin post about that?
Where do I find the info?
I bought a bunch aof pink ribbon yogurt the other day, do they qualify?

Please please, explain, I am intrigued!!!

    • Jodi

Would you all mind sharing with me the info on the P&G rebate? Could you share a link to some infor? I would love your help.
      THANKS!

      • Suzana

        here’s the link!
        https://www.pgpinkrebate.com/pink_rebate.pdf
spend $50, mail in original receipts and write in UPCs. they will mail you a $10 rebate and will donate $10 to breast cancer awareness!

  46. Bekki

Just thought I would point out that if you go the magazine route, you have the option to pick from a few other magazines, such as Glamour and Lucky (my personal favorite).

    • A.Marie

Just to let you all know….when this deal came around last December, I opted to go the magazine route instead of the refund. I’m still waiting for the magazines to come……

  47. Tonya

Mine came today. No samples at all. After all of you got samples galore I feel cheated! 🙁

  48. Kara

I have done other Allure and magazine deals multiple times with other purchases and you can only get 1 rebate per household. I did it with the Head and Shoulders and the ProFlower. I submitted two rebates for each (total 4) and received only 1 refund for each (total 2) and letters for the other ones stating that I could only request one per household. Please be warned that its a risk that you might have to take if you plan to order more than one.

  49. Andi

Ok got mine today, no samples bummer. The special bonus card doesn’t say anything about a refund. On the site though it says no thanks under the magazines. If I click on that is that how I get the refund? If not I want to get one of the magazines. I would rather the money though. Thanks for the help and all the offers.

    • Suzana

if you go to the allure holiday promo website (where you would normally enter the magazine code) there is a big paragraph of fine print where you can submit for a $9.99 refund.

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Last year I purchased 4 for Christmas but could only get one 10.00 rebate back. Still found it as a pretty good deal along with my coupons. Thanks, kim
