Sent from reader, Carmen: I am a 13 year old that loves clipping coupons and the excitement of saving at the cash register. Weird for my age, huh? I also love home stuff. (You’ll see why this ties in.) Recently, I went to Kohl’s because they mailed me a $10 Kohls cash and on top of that our store got remodeled so I had another $10 coupon. Those two coupons could be combined so I got 2 collections of picture frames, 2 magnetic picture frames, and a head band for only $1.23! I saved $98.80. This site has taught me to save and earn money with coupons. Thanks Collin!

I love this. I have a 17 yr old daughter that I have been trying to get interested in coupons because she loves to shop and eat out. Occasionally, she will ask if I have a coupon for something she wants to buy or a place she wants to go, so hopefully it is sinking in. The funny part is that her boyfriend has gotten into the habit of asking me if I have any coupons for where ever they are going before they leave the house. 🙂

I’m almost 15 and I have been couponing since March. It’s so much fun for me! Especially since I love makeup- I get so much for so little!

Good job to this 13 year old! What a good thing to learn and know at such an early age. Wish I would have know how to save like I do now at an earlier age. 🙂

Fantastic job!! She’s learned something which you can’t place a pricetag on. She will continue to live her life while saving a ton!! Wish I knew all the tricks when I was that age or even when my kids were in their diaper years. WOW, just the thought of how much we could have saved makes my stomach turn a little. I’ve always used coupons but not to extreme and potential we’re using them for today.

I’m 24 and have been using coupons since I was in my early teens. My friends would always poke fun at me because when we were in high school I would carry around coupons when we went to lunch or went shopping. My parents are both very frugal and taught me the value of a dollar. This 13 year old is smart for beginning at an early age. Good job to her parents!
