Thank you for posting this! For the last two years my husband has always lingered by these displays in the mall around the holiday season. I could not justify the expense then but for under $20 I could. I was able to purchase this for DH for his birthday- and he loved it. So again thank you!
GET ONE! Maybe the suggested retail price is way off base, but it doesn’t matter. This may be the best $18 gift around. Hubby loves his and my brother saw him flying it and practically wanted to steal it. I just ordered one for him! 🙂 Thanks Collin!

I bought one of these for my boyfriend back in June for his birthday….we (yes, I said WE) LOVE it!! Everyone plays with it on family day, and we purchased a second one for his nephew last week! Only negative is the fact that you can *over charge* it (no more than 40 minutes)

We bought one of these for my son and it never work correctly. This doesn’t show up in the reviews, but it does show up where people are looking for how to fix it. We had to send it back for a refund.
I’m have to agree, I bought one for my dad and one form my husband. My dad’s worked great and bit the dust for no reason a week ago (I bought his on Father’s day), my husbands never worked correctly, they were very quick in refunding my money.
I have to say I bought three last christmas and all three have stopped working. I didn’t get as good of a deal as this is, so I am bummed. For $19 not a bad price if it breaks sooner than later.
I bought this last time it was on sale. It’s very cute but SMALL!!!! Much smaller than I expected – about as long as my hand and not as wide. Just an FYI – for the supposed retail price I thought I was getting a much bigger product. Also, it doesn’t hover that well.
I got this for my husband and Brother-In-Law last year and they both have loved them. They were way better than a more expensive one a friend had gotten.

These are fun…I have purchased several as gifts. They are ALWAYS available for around $20 (the $130 price tag is ridiculous). We have had problems with some but Amazon Prime is great with returns and replacing.
Bought a similar one from Cotsco for a little under $20, all metal and plastic body (no Styrofoam) and it has been awesome with no problems. I recommend you guys check the Costco ones out before buying these with the falsely high MSRP.
I bought one of these for my husband for Father’s Day and he LOVES it! The first one that we got did not hold a charge, but Amazon replaced it with no problem. He flies it around about once a week and has lots of fun with it.
Got one a while ago then ordered two more as Christmas gifts for my brother in law and nephew. It is SO MUCH FUN! My only complaint is that it sets off our smoke detectors if we fly it too close to them. But it really is a lot of fun. The dogs love to watch it and even the baby gets a kick out of it.

I bought one of these for my husband for Father’s day also and it was probably the best gift that he’d ever received from me based upon his reaction. He even had a talk to the kids about how they couldn’t play with it if they didn’t ask him first. (A little rediculous if you ask me, but whatever) My father in law saw the helicopter and he was in complete awe of it so my husband suggested we get him one for Christmas. I’m SUPER excited for him to open it. These are GREAT.
This same helicopter is for sale at a lot of different store for about the same price or even cheaper, just google it and then you will find it. I was gonna buy it but no, not anymore.
we have this one as well as 3 similar ones that are “Air Hog” brand. The Air Hogs we have had for several years now and they still work great. I only paid $15 for each of those. This one was a gift for my son this year for his birthday. So far it still works, hoping it will hold up as long as the others. These are definitely not for younger kids though. My 6 year old daughter can not control them and neither can I. My husband and our older boys (10 year olds) love them.

We’ve had two of these- returned the first one after DD crashed it the first day, but the second one has kept on going strong through many crashes. Hubby thinks it’s the best gift he’s ever gotten!
We bought our 12 year old one last year, and it gets daily use. It’s still works perfectly! The only issue we had was about a week after we got it the remote would no longer charge the helicopter, so we just started using the usb charger instead. Perfect! I am getting one of these for my husband for Christmas! It’s too bad that some people had issues with theirs, we have probably purchased fifteen different types of RC helicopters over the years and by far and away this is the best one yet.
We buy them all the time as gifts for kids and for New Dads! It is a great baby shower gift for them!

The reviews on this are very one way or the other. I was going to order one and then didn’t yesterday because of the reviews. BUT after reading all of them I decided to get one for dh for Christmas. I think if we have any problems I will just contact the customer service department. My dh saw these at the mall and just was in pure enjoyment standing watching. I think he’ll love that he can actually control one now and it be his very own. He always asks for books and typical clothing items but I think this will be a nice surprise for him. A toy! hehe!
Bought one for my hubbies birthday and he loves it!! Also bought one for all the men in the family. I think its a great gift and the price is right. Hubbie has a lot of fun flying it. i would recomend it.
