The $3 off Nature amde coupon is a manufacturer coupon, so that deal won’t work.

    It’ll still only be .99!

    • Collin

Darn! Thanks I updated the post!

  2. kristin

I have 2 -1.5O/1 Kashi coupons (1.59oz or larger), from getting the samples. Perhaps that will make the Kashi deal even sweeter. Thanks Collin!

  3. All4Saving

thanks for the match ups !!

    • Collin

      You’re welcome!

  4. bjpontalion

    Thanks, realy this is great!

  5. Anne

I hope the price of Cover Girl powder is decent at my CVS. I’ve been itching to use the $8/2 coupon but don’t need blush. The $8 coupon + the $3 magic machine coupon should make for a pretty good deal!

    • Collin

      It sure would! 🙂

    • Michelle

Oh good!!! I plan to use my $8 coupon for powder as well. I just have to make sure that even with the $3 magic coupon, its cheaper than Walmart.

  6. Carol_R

Not a great week at CVS and I got a $5/$25 coupon from them in email to use by 10/10. Hopefully I can find enough stuff to purchase $25 worth to use it by then.

Thanks for the match ups Collin!

Don’t forget about your rainchecks, if you have any.

    • shan

Hi like to tell you a little discovery of the CVS email… I’ve been suspecting so this time when I receive $5 off $25 on Oct 6, I do not print them till later. I got two CVS cards (one took over from hubby), each link to different email. The one I waited till Oct 8 to print, didn’t expire till Oct 12, and the one I waited till Oct 9 to print, not expiring till Oct 13.

By doing this you can choose to use it for current week, or use it later NEXT WEEK. Hee hee!

  7. Mitch

The Lipton tea deal is a good one, is it me or does CVS offer the best deals over Walgreen’s and Rite-Aid?
It is by far my favorite for saving.
    thanks!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Michelle

I have all 3 stores in my area, but I use CVS the most. Always great deals and the ECBs seem easier to deal with.

    • Nicole G.

CVS has awesome deals 🙂 Although, I do wish I had a rite-aid, because it looks like they have some pretty amazing deals sometimes!

    • jmartcougar

I am always finding something to roll my ECB at CVS and the employees are the best!

    • Rita

I can personally find better deals for my needs at Walgreens. No limits on RR’s, compared to ECB’s. Just works better for me. I will be getting the lipton deal though.

    • rebecacha

Agree, also way better customer service, I love the coupon machine, their clearance section, using as many ECBs as needed plus all the extra ECBs one gets here and there! 🙂

  8. klink

There’s also a 3/1 manf coupon in the CVS Reinventing Beauty coupon book.

    • klink

oops I meant for the Huggies pull on diapers. lol sorry

      • Collin

Thank you! I totally forgot about that one! I knew there had to be one out there somewhere 🙂 I’ll add to the post now…

  9. Brianna S

Last time they did the Kashie bar deal couldn’t find them at any of my CVSs and none of the employees knew anything.

  10. Ashley

Do you guys think false lashes would be considered a cosmetic purchese that i could use the $3 coupon on? I have a bunch of ECBs and i need to get some lashes for halloween so that would make it a better deal.

    • Krystal

      I’d consider it cosmetic

    • Collin

      I would think so!?

  11. Brianna S

Has anyone found the flavored wheat thins at their CVS? All mine has are the regular kind.

  12. Kristin

I would like opinions!!!! My husband and I both have a CVS card, and one of the CVS workers told me that’s almost as bad as COUPON FRAUD! What do y’all think; should I stop using two cards?

    • jmartcougar

I was accused of that because the cashier thought I had multiple CVS cards on my keychain. I then proceeded to show her that only one was for CVS the other were for other store (krogers, petsmart, randalls) she apologized but that was uncalled for. What if your husband can’t go to the store I think they just make up rules lol

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My husband and I both have Caremark prescription plan and CVS sent us both separate cards in the mail.

    • Amanda

It states some where that it is one per household… (i remember reading this some where but dont remember exactly where.

      • Bridget

CVS cards are supposed to be issued 1 per household (not per person in the household). Sadly the cashier is correct. Good for you for caring enough about couponing ethics to get clarification 🙂

      • Katie

Yeah it is supposed to be one per household

    • DP

The manager at my CVS GAVE my 11 year old daughter a card! I asked ” I thought it was one per household”? And he just shrugged…She was thrilled!

    • Linda

My husband and I both have a Caremark Prescription plan and both of us received CVS cards in the mail.

    • Kathy

We only have one card for the household. I have thought about having my Mom and my DD who do not live with me get one, because I often CVS shop for them. However, the stores have been clear that they are not happy because people w/ multiple cards are clearing stock. Therefore, I’ve decided not to irritate them w/ “appearing” to use more than one for me, even though it would be for 3 diff households. Therefore, I personally would not use 2 cards if I were you. I think it is great that you care, and I bet it would go a long way w/ your store relationship if you let them know. I find they try to make substitutions, partially because they know I am a considerate shopper. That being said, I think it was a stretch to compare it to cpn fraud. Good luck!

      • Annie Moose

I think the “one per household” rule is silly for those who are in a roommate situation. . . My friend lives with 3 other girls. So they can’t all have their own CVS card?
There have to be some exceptions

        • Kathy

I agree with this, and I think that is why they don’t strongly enforce it. They also try to be understanding of people shopping for others (though I’m hearing more upset that that is used as an “excuse”). However, this reader is clearly asking for our opinion of 2 for a couple, which was very honorable, I think.

    • Ashley

I mean, it’s not a crime but I wouldn’t use two cards because it does seem like a bit of a hassle and everyone knows when shopping trips go bad, they go BAD lol but it seems maybe a little greedy (I’m NOT trying to judge) it’s not like you have 20 cards but I don’t think it’s a huge deal at all, I mean I wouldn’t call it fraud by any means though, that cashier just must be sick of being treated rudely by a lot of the couponers who kind of bully them, ya know.

    • Jeannette

When we signed up for the cards. It was one per person and not per household. So CVS told me it is ok to use both and get extra limits.

    • Kim

My store knows my husband and I each have a card and they do not care at all. I use his all the time. But I also don’t buy every deal just because I can and I do not smash and grab like some of the people who come in my local store!

    • Kristin

thank you to all who responded!

      • heather

my cashier once told me that I should get some “more cvs cards” and said that she uses 4 herself to get better deals!!! I just laughed but did not try to get another card

        • Kathy

          Kudos to you! 🙂

  13. Amy

Bummed, did not get the Sparkle paper towel coupon in the early Sunday paper and I am almost out so need to buy some soon. I did see a coupon for what should be a free 2 liter of Dr. Pepper Ten (up to $1.99). There was also a high-value $1.25 coupon off one of the new Campbell’s Slow Kettle Style soup.

  14. Nicole G.

I feel like CVS has weeks of great deals followed by a week of nothing. Here’s hoping next weeks ad is a little better 🙂 Thanks for putting this together Collin, it’s so helpful! Here’s hoping there are some good coupons in this Sunday’s paper!

    • melissa

next weeks ad isn’t all that great either. they do have a promo though, if you spend $30 on certain products, you get a $10 GC (which you can choose from!)

  15. Amy E

If I buy 2 Optic White toothpastes, will it print out 2 separate ECBs or do I need to buy them in separate transactions?

    • Amy E

      I meant Sens. Pro Relief….sorry.

    • melissa

if you buy 2, you’ll get a combined ECB of $3.00.

    • cuepea

you can buy the optic toothpaste all in one transaction and still get both ECB’s. Walgreens is the only store you would ever have to do separate transactions to get more than multiple rewards on one type of item.

  16. Jen @ MyPotpourriWorld

I love the CVS match-ups! Thanks Collin! 🙂

  17. laura

    HI COLLIN
THE NESTLE WATER IS $1/2 NOT ONE PLANNING ON BUYING THEM

    • Collin

      Yep, it is $1/2 🙂

  18. cammy

I bought my papers early in Houston. There is a Wal Mart circular with several manufacturer coupons on the back. Revlon, Maybelline, and Almay among others.

  19. guest

I have 2 extra GLAXO coupons from REINVENTING BEAUTY MAGAZINE would like to trade. If anyone intrested plz e-mail me at pelli.apa@gmail.com

  20. Dolly

Is the hair color purchase considered a cosmetic purchase. Thanks in advance.

  21. Michele

Not sure if it’s a regional thing, but the card deal in my CVS flyer is for Hallmark, not American Greeting, cards.

    • Collin

Thanks for the heads up…looks like it’s definitely regional

  22. Valerie

The link for WHEAT THINS isn’t working anymore.

Keebler crackers or Nabisco cookies or crackers 4-8 oz 4/$5 = $1 Ecb (limit 1)
Buy 4 boxes of Wheat Thins flavored crackers (*if your CVS store carries this variety)
Use the $1/1 Wheat Thins flavored coupons found here
    Pay as low as $1
    Get back $1 Ecb
Final cost as low as FREE!

  23. Amy

Help! I have a 10% off cosmetics CVS coupon, a $5/2 Revlon eye & lip CVS coupon from the coupon machine, and also the $3 off $10 that will print tomorrow. Can I use all of these in the same transaction? I also have $5 off $25 and $10 ECB to use…

    • Kathy

You definitely can use the $5 off $25 in addition to any other cpns. However, each store will handle the other cpns differently, but I think it is technically one manuf and one CVS cpn, so you might have to pick whether to use the $3 off $10, $5/2 or 10%. I personally would ask them.

    • melissa

the 10% won’t work with sale items. I think you’ll have to choose between the $3/10 cosmetic coupon & $5/25 b/c the those are limited to 1 purchase based coupon per transaction.
You can use the $5/2 revlon with either $/$$ coupon though.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was just able to use my manufacturers coupons with my $3 off $10 beauty purchase and my 10% off beauty purchase on top of the in store maybelline buy one get one 50% off

  24. amy

If anyone does the Maybelline Baby Lips deal, please confirm the price. I’m think this would be a good stocking stuffer for dd.

  25. AK

Can I use my $5 of $25 in store purchase coupon with the $3 of $10 beauty coupon? Thanks

    • Kathy

Yes you can, just be sure and give them the $5 off $25 first, so your total doesn’t drop below $25.

  26. Carissa @ FindsForFriends

If you printed a $1 Cookies and milk coupon from the Nabisco facebook page at the beginning of the month (no longer available), you could snag 2 packages of oreos and a gallon of milk for just $4.99! Pretty good – $1.66 per item!

  27. Diane L.

I tried printing the American Greetings card, and it is huge! It takes up almost an entire sheet of paper. Is there anyway to print it smaller??

    • anna15nc

When the print set up page appears I changed the 100% to 60% and it printed smaller.

  28. Shaina

There is a $1/2 on any ajax products coupon and a $1/2 Hefty OneZip Bags coupon in the 8/14 SS/RP. The would make the deals better.

    • melissa

I don’t think that ajax coupon is for the dish soap, but rather meant for laundry products. Ajax dish soap is a colgate/palmolive product and the ajax laundry stuff is now made by Phoenix brands.

      • Shaina

Well the coupon works on the dishsoap and it says “ANY AJAX PRODUCT.” The soap is Ajax.

        • melissa

          If its this coupon –
$1.00/2 Dynamo, Ajax, Fab, or Niagara Product, then NO, it is NOT the right coupon match.
There is a post Collin made here that explains the difference –
          https://hip2save.com/2011/05/ajax-vs-ajax.html

  29. Rebecca

no flavored wheat thins at my cvs here in houston tx!

  30. Lina

The Garnier hair color deal should be even sweeter with the free coupon previously scored from Facebook :D. I have been waiting for the right sale to use this coupon, so definitely putting it to use this week.

  31. Chris

  32. Teresa

    HELP PLEASE!

The other day I went to CVS and got a bunch of free things by using coupons, $3.00 in extra bucks that I printed from my account on the CVS website and a $5.00 off $25.00 coupon that they emailed to me.

My entire transaction was processed at the self checkout.  Neither the $5 off $25 coupon or the $3.00 extra bucks scanned so one of the employees entered the coupons manually without entering the code, but took the coupons and put them in the slot where the coupons are collected in the machine.

So my question is…can I use those coupons again today if I reprint them?  Does CVS know I used those coupons?  There are no rewards or coupons redeemed that show up on my CVS online account.  When you redeem extra care bucks and emailed coupons do they show up on the section of the website that says redeemed coupons?  The $3.00 extra care bucks still shows up in my online account saying I printed it and gives me the option to print again.

Please help me!  I would love to use those coupons again today before the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon expires and would hate for the system to recognize I used the coupons already and then I’m stuck dishing out an extra $8.00.

    Thanks in advance.

    • Heidi

Uh . . . I think it’s called ETHICS!!! How about this: I borrowed $8 dollars from you. Now I need $8 again. Your purse is right there, and no one is looking. Now’s the perfect time to get sticky fingers, no?

      • Teresa

Gee, Heidi. I’m really sorry if I pushed your buttons. It wasn’t my intention. I was simply trying to save a few dollars like everyone who is on this awesome website.

I’m NOT going to try to reuse the coupons because I am NOT an unethical person or a thief and at the end of the day the coupons are sent to us for one time use like Alex said.

I would still like to know how the CVS Extra Care system works on their website. When you use a coupon or reward does it show up on your account on the website? Please, let me know.

I would also love to hear your feedback regarding the people who use more than one computer to print out coupons, or have more than one CVS Extra Care Card. Some people have a personal Extra Care Card and then they have one for their husband, friend, mother, father, daughter, son and who knows who else. Those people get the deals you and I receive multiple times. They wouldn’t have to worry about reusing a coupon because they have many to choose from. They must really upset you.

Looking forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance.

        • Heidi

I actually don’t have issues with people having multiple CVS cards (or multiple printers, for that matter). Just so you know, though, those people wouldn’t be allowed to use the same printable ECB multiple times on different cards because they are linked to the Extracare Card. CVS does track this.

As for the $/$$ coupons, they are supposed to be specific to each card. If you try to use it again, the cashier gets a beep that the coupon has already been used. Cashier could push coupon through; then again, cashier could be canned.

By the way, if you’re not planning on reusing the coupon, why ask?

Sorry if this comes off harsh. I guess what irks me is that CVS has an awesome system of deals, and I hope it doesn’t get ruined by people playing the system. I like walking into CVS every 7 or 14 days and paying just $3-5 for $100 worth of stuff. Also, how would what you proposed be different than copying a coupon? Technically, it wouldn’t be copied, but I think the principle is the same.

    • Mary S.

I don’t know if the system would recognize it but if you used them once before I would not try to use them again.

    • Alex

Whether or not they scan again, you’ve already used coupons which are intended for one time use. CVS is nice enough to send us $5/$25 coupons — please don’t ruin it by abusing their system.

    • Kathy

It will recognize it, but even if it didn’t, I agree w/ everyone else, you shouldn’t use it. Please don’t jeopardize the deals for yourself or others.

  33. Stacy

RUN!! Do not walk, just went to CVS and their back to school section, which has been and still is marked at 75% off is ringing up at 90% off!! Candy and the ‘As seen on TV’ CVS brand items are all 90% off!! Below I will list some of my fabulous finds!!

    3. shower tote – 49 cents

    Good luck!!!

    • Alex

Woo thanks! I’ll check out my store. Last week I got some bookshelves for 75% off and passed up a lot of other stuff. I hope its still there!

    • Collin

Wow, sounds like you scored some awesome deals! 🙂 Thanks for the heads up!

      • Stacy

Thanks! I did indeed and let me tell you, I have found so many great ways to save my family money that I just could never thank you and your website enough! I have also saved on glasses and magazine subscriptions and kids toys and clothes. You are an inspiration and your charity work is what drew me to your site over all of the others, I work at a non-profit organization that tutors and mentors inner city youth and I love that you save money and give back to your community (and other communities around the country!). SO thanks and keep it up!! You inspire and help so many through this website.

  34. Heather

Maybe it is just my region or something but the M & M’s were not on sale 2/$5 last week or this week – I even scanned them and asked if there was a different size on sale for that price. There was not and I tried two different CVS stores in my area. Really bummed since I love to make cookies with the M&M’s Pretzel bags!

    • MissyLiz

Its only the M&M’s in the seasonally marked bags (the ones in the halloween section that have scarecrows and such on the outsides)

  35. Lisa

Help! Where is the fall savings booklet? I asked two CVS employees, and neither one had a clue. There was nothing by the weekly circulars.

  36. guest

I HAVE A FULL COUPON INSERT FROM FALL SAVING BOOKLET (OR) REINVENTING BEAUTY MAGAZINE, IF ANYONE LOOKING FOR IT, E-MAIL ME AT PELLI.VEEN@GMAIL.COM .

  37. Shaina

If you have a B2G1 FREE coupon, can you use it on a B2G1 free sale? If so, how many would you have to buy? Just the original 3 and then you would get 2 for free? or would it have to be more than 3?

  38. dy

There is a Finish Qpon in SS 9/18 for $1 off Quantum, Powerball or Gelpak
    exp.10/23

    • Emily

Yes I have that too, was wondered why it wasn’t listed…maybe it was regional.

  39. Kelly

On the Right Guard coupon on coupons.com I’m confused about the wording. It says “$1 off any Right Guard TDS deoderant or body wash with the purchase of 2 or more items.” Does this mean it’s $1/2?

    • Chris

Yes that is correct. I have seen one type to be on sale 75% off. You get 1 ECB (limit 1)

  40. Yadi

Help!!! I can’t seem to find the John Frieda coupons on my 10/9 SS, am i missing something??

  41. Meagan Tuck

Check your Nestle Pure Life Waters. I’ve been finding a bunch of $1/2 peelies on the packages

  42. Brittany

So this has nothing at all to do with CVS but today at my local grocery store I received a catalina coupon for $1.50 off my next laundry detergent… it doesn’t specify a brand. Can I stack a catalina coupon with a manufacturers coupon? Hope this isn’t a stupid question. I’m still pretty new to couponing 🙂

    • tanya

if the catalina says ‘Manufacturing’ on it, then for sure you cannot stack them.

  43. Brittany

It does not say manufacturing anywhere on it but i do see now that it says “This dollar off promotion can not be combined with any other dollar off promotion”. So I guess there’s my answer!

    • Jenn

Hi Brittany, I used to get those from my supermarket Lucky’s. Those are store coupons and you CAN use them with a MQ!

  44. guest

I have 2 of GLAXO $5 OFF ON $10 from REINVENTING BEAUTY MAGAZINE. I would love them to exchange with 4 of CREST $2 OFF COUPONS from 9/11SS .If anyone intrested plz send an e-mail to pelli.apa@gmail.com .Thank you.

  45. lea

went to CVS. the reinventing Beauty Magazine is new this week and did not include a Glaxo coupon or huggies coupon. it was not the one with Reese Witherspoon on the front can’t seem to find that one anywhere. bummed:(

    • lea

looks like those cpns were in the September issue and my store has already the October issue.

      • guest

this magazine is a quartery issue and glaxo, huggies and some other good coupons are included in october issue (Reese Witherspoon on the front) itself. these coupons are good until 12/31/11. next issue will comes after these gets expired. hope this helps !!!!

  46. edy

  47. Tenisha

There is a $5/10 Galaxo Smith Kline Coupon in the CVS Beauty Booklet that goes well with the $5 ECB on sensodyne, polident, poligrip, etc. Buy 3 poligrip/dent products at 11.97, use 1 $5/10 = $6.97, get back $5 ECB, OOP $1.97 +tax.

Or, get one sensodyne at $4.99 and one at $5.49 total $10.48, use 1 $5/10 and pay $5.48, get back $5 ECB, OOP $0.48 + tax.

Did both today without any problems, went with my gram and she did the first transaction with her card and I did the second one with mine. The limit is 2, but the $5/10 says one per customer.

    • Tenisha

Ignore this post, thread is so long, I missed it- already noted.

  48. Tenisha

The $5/10 is in the “CVS Pharmacy Store Coupons $50 in Savings” Booklet
“beautyhandbook.com rev CVSBH120” is written in fine print above the title. It does include a $3 off Huggies Manufacturer coupon as well.

  49. Marissa

I was purchasing some Maybelline Mascara yesterday in CVS (taking advantage of their B1G1 50% plus my $3 off $10 beauty purchase plus 10% off beauty purchase and manufacturers coupons!) and my cashier happened to be a truly lovely girl who was very friendly and very very helpful (many of my ECBS did not print out and she was so patient in going over the circular with me and printing out the missing ones).. anyway she told me that next week there will be ECB’s on Maybelline products … just thought I would share 8)

Also wanted to vent…. One of the deals I wanted to take advantage on at my CVS was a value pack of crest toothpaste that qualified for an ECP (and I had my crest MF coupon) …. when I went over to the toothpaste aisle a gentleman there was standing in front of the shelf clearing all the toothpaste off of it and he already had one cart filled with it!! I only wanted to buy 1 box of the toothpaste and when I asked him if I could have one he told me no… he had at least a hundred in his cart… I was just so frustrated and annoyed …. I had to vent

    • Marissa

Oh I also bought the nature made vitamin D (100 capsules) for $.99!… I used the $3/1 found in the reinventing beauty magazine and I also had a $1/1 MF coupon I printed from naturemade’s website.. plus I got the $4.00 ECB…. great deal! I take vitamin D everyday and a bottle of the pills can cost around $10-$15 so this was a great deal from a reputable company

  50. karla

Somehow I managed to come across a link to a $2 off any dimetapp printable coupon through last years “CVS deals 10/17/10”. I printed it out and it doesn’t expire till 11/12/11. which makes for a sweeter dimetapp deal.

    • karla

Just got back from CVS and magic coupon printed another $2 off dimetapp coupon…Yay more saviings!
