   Also, this is the first time in a while I’ve seen my CVS (SoCal) has different sales. The Mars, Wrigley or Hershey’s candy is not $4/10 w/Ecb, they are $1.88 each. Also, the Carving Tool and Gold Emblem candy are $.10. Still great deals!

   Ok, I’m having a moment tonight and I need someone elses eyes…… In the CVS ad I see Glade Sense & Spray 0.43 or Lasing Impressions for $5…..Then right below it, it has Sense & Spray again 0.43 oz. 2/$6… What am I missing? I know it’s probably simple…..lol

  You could use the 20% off coupon for the Nivea which is not on sale. You could buy 1 lotion $7.99 and 2 lip care products @ $2.99. Then after 20% off, coupons and ECB you would only pay about $1.19. Not too bad.

  If I buy one lotion 7.99 and one lip care 2.99 would I still get the ECB? My total would be $8.78 after 20% discount or would I need another item?

  The 20% doesn’t come off per item, it will show as a coupon discount, so the $10.98 will count for the deal.

  I was thinking the same thing. I used them earlier today to pick up 4 nail colors at Walmart 94 cents ea to put as stocking stuffers for our teenagers. I think that made it about 38 cents after coupons. Not a bad option if it won’t work for this deal.

  That purchase must have been over two separate weeks, 2 different deals, as Rite-Aid limits the items. I’m against shelf clearing as well but she didn’t do that – she did the deal that was advertised on all of the blogs – buy 8 blushes – use 4 coupons – pay a little over $2 + tax and get a $10 +Up Reward. Why should she feel badly about doing the deal that was suggested? It’s not like she was one of the ones running to Walgreens to repeatedly take advantage the computer glitch that gave $3 in RR for every 99 cent bar of Dove Soap.
  Personally – I did that Rite-Aid deal twice as well and got to play “early Santa” gifting many of them to my friends and co-workers (I included little notes about a gift for a smiling face that brightens my day).

  if you spend $50 on covergirl products, will you get the p&g rebate? im not really sure how that works. I wasent lucky enough to get any of the $8/2 coupons we were missing the p&g insert. But im trying to buy some on ebay, and thats a first for me im not sure if thats the smartest thing to do, bc the bids for like 10 coupons are up to $17. Im not good at math, so im scared im going to be losing in the end. Will someone give me some advice, or know of maybe a cheaper place to get these coupons :S any help would be super great. ty

  The $8/2 coupons expire 10/31, so I wouldn’t buy them on ebay now. You won’t get them in time.

   Whoow here txs they change the sales allready saturday at 4pm no wonder I don’t get some things!! I had to ask after seeing on a comment that some cvs change the prices!!!! My friend said that the norelco that’s on sale for 29.99 that there its a cpn somewhere for. 30.dlrs get it for 10dlrs if we don’t have bucks. Pay 10 get 5 bucks!!! My cousin started today cpning I send her cpns late she is loving it tooked her sister along she send me a picture of her things!!! She told the manager cvs to order more things because he said he only order very little because he doesn’t sale!! She told him I’m coming in I’m going to be ur customer now!! There at it now!!!! Thanks for ur postings I’m learning now more never used computer until now!!!

    Help me understand…please 🙂 On the bottom of my CVS receipt for last week it lists my tally for diapers towards the free pack and then it has the ecb deal for this week and says I’ve spent 29.99 and need to spend another .01 to get the deal. However, my 10.00 ecb for a gift card printed on the same receipt, so what is it talking about?? Thanks.

  That happened to me, too. If you make another purchase unrelated to the deal, the tally will show the ECB given and the penny will reset to zero. 🙂

    Im getting 1 Duracell Batteries, 4 cheezeits, 2 detergents and 4 kleenexs equal 30 bucks. Minus 1$/1 duracell coupon, 2 1$/2 cheezeit coup., 1 1$/2 detergent coup., and .50/3 kleenex coupon. Makes it 25.50…ill use my 10$ CVS coup from last week. Means ill pay 15.50 plus get a 10.00 rewards….end up paying 5.50 for 11 items…why yes i will! Thanks so much!

  The official coupon policy doesn’t state, but some people have had trouble using a $ q with a BOGO. Try handing over the $ first, then the BOGO. The registers may have been reprogrammed and not allow it.

    Does anyone know…do you have to spend the $30 all in the same week to get the $10 gift card or is it spend $30 throughout this entire promotion and once you reach $30 the gift card is available?
    There are some items in this deal that I like this week but it doesn’t add up to $30…wondering if a few items next week, bringing it to $30 or over in 2 weeks, would generate the $10 gift card.

    So many of these coupons say limit one per purchase (like the BOGO starburst) Do I have to do the transactions separately and if I do, will it still give me ECB after doing the second transaction by using the same CVS card?

  One per purchase, means one coupon per ITEM, not transaction. If the coupon specifies one per shopping trip or one per purchase, than you can only use one of that particular coupon during that transaction or shopping trip.

    Someone else out there has to have them too.
    Not sure how much the Softsoap Body Wash is going for, but with the BOGO sale I may make out well.

  my CVS cashier (the manager at that) said I couldn’t use the 2 starburst coupons because they were already in essence B1G1 free. Wouldn’t do it. (I think he was just aggravated that the register wouldn’t do it and made up an excuse )

  When you have two of the same cvs coupons in one transaction, its best to do it in two transaction, because the registers are programmed to accept only one.

    I am usually a winner at cvs. It takes me 2 mins to get there. I went there at 8:15 (15 mins after opening) for the carving tool and the manager says “sorry we just sold out”. I find it hard to believe that this store sold out of a tool advertised as free and that they had 10wks to prepare and order for was sold out in 15 mins. The sale is also for 3 days. So I’m a little leery in accepting this managers answer considering I went down the street 10mins and they had plenty. Does anyone have corps number. The attitude regarding this tool and the Halloween “party” they are throwing (comment: “oh this is going to get annoying”) makes me want to complain.

  Just so you know, the managers actually don’t get to order seasonal items, that is done at a higher level than store level. This is true even if the item is on sale. We are limited to what we got in for our seasonal classification. In fact, when we place our promotional orders, the items that are seasonal, like the carving tool, aren’t even on the order guide. It all depends on how many corporate allocates to your store. I’m not sure where you are, but my store is a busy one and I received a total of 4 carvers to last the idea halloween season, let alone this sale

  The attitude was pretty inexcusable and you had every right to be upset. I had a feeling that being out of stock on the carver was going to be an issue at a lot of stores and just wanted to explain. That being said, at my store I have people pick out another similarly priced item from halloween and use the extrabucks code from the circular to manually issue the extrabucks. Generally keeps everybody happier

  Yea my cvs had four carvers on the shelf i got one of them and looked back and they were gone. They didnt have the candy corn. I asked the cashier and she told me theyve been out bc they had the .99 ecb for them two weeks ago and they were never shipped anymore :C

  You cannot use more than one manufacturer’s coupon on an item. You cannot “stack” manufacturer’s coupons together. It does not matter how the quantities are listed.

  In order to use four $1/4 coupons, you would have to buy 16 cans of soup. A $1/4 coupon is basically the same thing as having four $0.25/1 coupons but it encourages you to buy more at one time.

  The way my CVS has it programmed is when it is 2/$5, they ring up at $2.50/each. However, I did get burned once when Starbursts were $3.69 each or 2/$6 because the first rang up at $3.69, the second at $2.31. Guess it just depends on the way it is programmed in.

  If you look at the sale signs you’ll probably be able to tell how it will be coded. The “regular” sale signs are shorter and if the sign says 2/$5 will ring up as $2.50 each. There are also longer signs for “threshold” pricing that require the purchase of 2 (or more depending on the deal) to get the sale price. I’m guessing the starbursts you mentioned were one of those deals. The “threshold” signs are the same length as the extrabuck signs and also generally have a colored background-like right now they are black and purple for halloween. You do have to be careful because every once in a while a threshold price will mess up the weekly sale. For example, sometimes M&M’s will have a threshold sign for 2/$6 but be on sale for the week as 2/$5. You shouldn’t have to buy 2 to get the sale price, but some weeks depending on how the programmers do it, the threshold program messes things up. HTH

    One of the coupons from the kids’ halloween bag i got this morning is $5/1 hershey’s snack size 19oz or larger. it looks like in the ad the hershey’s 24.17 to 41.5oz bags are $7.99. So 2.99 after coupons for a lot of candy! I’ll be going back to CVS later to try this deal…

    I took advantage of the gift card deal and spend $22.76 (including tax) for 3 Scott 12pk TP, 2 A&H detergent, 4 starburst singles, candy corn, carving tool, complete saline & physician’s formula mascara …I am very happily stocked up 🙂

    CVS Transaction:
    4 – 6 pk Scott paper towels ($6 each)
    3 – Kleenex boxes ($1 each)
    2 – Cheez-Its ($1.99)

    Total: 30.98 Before Coupons

    Used (2) $2/1 Scott tissue and (2) $1/1 Scott tissue MQ’s, also used .50/3 Kleenex MQ and $1/2 Cheez-It MQ and a $5 off of $25 CVS coupon emailed last week.

    Total: $18.48 After coupons

    Finally, I used $10 in Extra Care Bucks from last week and paid $8.48 cash plus tax.

    BUT, I got a $10 CVS gift card for spending $30 on these specific items, so really since I spent $10 extra care and got that back on a gift card, I really only spent the $8.48 plus tax ($9.87 w/tax)

    Just got back from CVS with my daughter and her friend dressed in costumes. Here is a slick deal. Purchase the Gold Emblem Candy Corn .99 = .99 ECB and the kids both got 5X7 picture taken and a goody bag. In the goody bag are coupons – one for a free 5X7! Awesome! Thanks for the heads up Collin!

Like me lol find out other friend(so called) new a week ahead the sales didn’t bother to share and knew for don’t know how long they change prices at 4pm saturday well I went to cvs got 3 scotts tissue 8 cheeitz had 24 bucks from my almays the cashier said I couldn’t use it over the amount my bill was 42 so called manager problem fixed (bought 15 papers sunday at .99 cent store for 1.49 use my 24 bucks 4 cpns cheeitz 1/2. 3cpns scott 1each total$9.53 cash didn’t use my gift cards last weeks and tooked my receipt got another 10 gift card went to another cvs and there I got my gift card/didnt want to get it at the other cvs/were out of a lot of items plenty of scotts and towels so I purchase enought for be able 2 get 2 more gift cards paid cash and cpns will use 3 gift cards to finish. The limit!!! And the cpn 30dlrs its being use wrong phillips norelco shaver everybody gets know at cvs if they use wrong cpns!! I love to walk there and being know and the cashier was helping somebody else he even asked if I wanted a candy for waiting too long!! That was nice so I heard were getting gift cards 5 limit per card holder all the way to december 25th whoow!!!my cousin in dallas started cpn yesterday she send me a picture of her stockpile!!! Everybody go to PGTRYIT.COM for cpns and free samples!!!! Love u caring is sharing!!!!

    Found a great deal on physician’s formula makeup, powder and powder/blush originally $14.49 on sale for the month of October for $3.37, then this week buy $10 get $7 ecb! So i got $43 worth of makeup for $3!!!

    Ohhhh Nooooo! I was hoping to find a good tampax sale to use my BOGO free coups that I have left, they expire the 31st. Im new to this and im wondering if you experienced hipsters would just go buy full price to use them up or hold on to them and rush out sat. if a sale comes up. Hate for them to go to waste but have no clue as to if a sale will be on its way.

    Would it be a good idea to buy the covergirl $8/2 coupons on ebay? the bids are getting high, and im not really sure if its a good idea or not? Im still new to couponing and dont want to spend more then save bc im on a budget but i only use covergirl and heard theyl be bogo% and go towards the $30 g.c deal. Im not sure how much theyl be maybe $7 or $8? Does anyone know if there are other sites to get the coupons at? im lost and running out of time :/ any help would be greatly appreciated. TY!

    I live in Cambridge, MA, and the CVS stores around here don’t get the Reinventing Beauty magazine, or the new $50 Fall Savings Coupon booklet – or any such booklets for that matter. I’ve contacted several of the stores around here and they said that the last time they saw the RB mag was back in March and their computer system showed that none of the local surrounding stores get it either.
    I was curious if there is some kind of a swap system around here – people who have access to these booklets or magazines in their local stores, and are willing to buy a couple of extra issues and mail them to me. In return, I can either send you a payment through Paypal, or “pay” with coupons if you are looking for something specific that I have and don’t need.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    did the almay deal this weekend.5.99/4.00ecb=1.99/1.00coupon=.99.limit 6.purcased 2.only had 2-c/0’s.one rung up as 5.99 the other 6.99 and only printed one 4.00ecb. argued with cashier about 5-min. he said because it goes by numbers through corporate as to which product rings up on sale. even though the ad showed the exact identical eye shadow that I purchased.he finally adjusted it to 5.99.and printed my 4.00 ecb. after I told him I would have to call corporate about that one. But he was NOT happy. Neither was I . Grrrrr…..

  I’m in MA and I talked to the beauty manager for the state and she said that she just isn’t getting the magazine for MA anymore and she doesn’t know why but I just went to Maine this weekend and they have it. It was $.99. Maybe if you know someone in ME they could mail you one. The $50 coupon booklet is in the magazine but the cashier gave me a second one when I asked her about it.

    I have a question about the candy sale this week, can I use $1/1 Hershey’s printable coupon posted on Walgreen deal web page? The word on printed coupon is “save $1.00 on any size of Hershey’s snack size bags of Halloween, Candy, 9oz or larger.”. I’m not sure if I have to use it on Halloween candy bag or any snack size candy bag. Anyone?

  as long as it Hershey’s brand candy i.e. kit kat, reeses, hersheys, etc. AND the product is over 9. oz. Hope this helps!

    I have a question on a printable Right Guard coupon. It says “Save $1 on any Right Guard TD5 deodorant or body wash with the purchase of two or more items”. How do you interpret this? Is it $1/2 or $1/1 as long as I purchase two other items (not necessarily Right Guard)?

  I’m not sure on the second question but the first worked that way for me last week. Whatever overage I had on the purchases for the previous card carried over toward my purchases for the next card.

    I bought (4) 12-packs of Scott Tissue for $8 minus $1/1 coupon from the 10/23SS. This totaled $32, thus qualifying for the $10 gift card, which I am going to get a Shell card to get free gas! This makes for a real total of $22 ($32-10 gift card) for 48 rolls which comes out to $0.46/roll which is a great deal for this type of toilet paper that lasts FOREVER!

Scott tissue had 4 1cpns and 3dlr cpn glade 1dlr physicians found cpns at a smart source machine .55 of pepsis /got 3 and some hair pieces for my daughter gave my cpns 24 bucks 3 10dlr gift cards paid 3.53 cash got back. A gift card 7bucks physicians 3 for buying for 4 cover girl and have to wait to find 2 more glade !!!! Sharing is caring!!!
