As most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

Capri Sun 2/$6 get $1.50RR equals $4.50 for 2 which is $2.25 each, not $1.50 each. The local store runs them $1.99 everyday price.

    • Brittany

      They are listed for 3/$6

    • sashagrace

My ad also says 3/$6, so the post appears to be correct. Am I missing something?

    • Katie

Collin said it’s 3/$6, in which case her math is right. If she messed up and it really is 2/$6, then you’re right. I don’t know if it’s 2/$6 or 3/$6, so I’m not sure who’s right as far as the deal goes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      i read it as 3 for $6???

      • Amanda Bawden

The krazy coupon lady posted a week ago on her site a coupon for caprisun on a caprisun spanish website. makes a even better deal. yay

    • Collin

Just checked the ad again to make sure I posted correctly and they are in fact on sale 3/$6 with a $1.50 RR, so after the Register Reward, you’ll pay $4.50 – which makes each 10 pack only $1.50! 🙂

      • sashagrace

I think you meant 3 there 🙂 Thank you Collin!

        • Collin

LOL… yep! 🙂 Just fixed my comment!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Do you mean 3/$6?

        • Collin

          Yes… I just updated my comment. 🙂

  2. All4Saving

    thanks collin!!

    • Collin

      You are welcome! 🙂

  3. Priscilla

    Thanks Collin!

    • Collin

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  4. Christina

If you got the dentek sample, the $1Q would make the RR a better deal. 50 cents each

    • jmartcougar

I have two! One for dentek floss and one for any dentek product 1.00 off

Thanks so much, Collin. I hope my store has a bunch of the Kleenex tissues. 🙂 My nose sure needs the cooling effect right about now.

    • cheapomom

did anyone get their freebie sample of cooling kleenexes in..my kids and I tested them in the pickup line while waiting fo rmy daughter.and decided to test them out (we play..what sample did mommy get today? in pickup line).i’msure we were a funny site…all of us blowing our noses at the same time! but I didn’t feel a cooling effect..neither did my kids

      • Joy

Got my sample the other day. They had a funky smell to them. Didn’t really care for them. Maybe if I had a cold they might not smell as bad. LOL.

      • Lynda

I felt the cooling effect. I feel it when I first touch the kleenex…its goes away after say 5 secs.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s funny…no cooling effect for me, either. They just feel cold when you first pick them up.

      • melissinglink

I am not so keen on adding any more chemicals to my products than possible. It’s hard enough with all the stuff that has chemicals added just so they can make it. I will stick with plain old tissues and a humidifier for moisture.

    • jmartcougar

I love the kleenex cool touch there was also a coupon for .40 cents off if you got the sample from target about a week ago

      • Kelley

Loved cool touch tissues! although I didn’t feel a “cooling effect” there wasn’t a lot of fluff, and my nose didn’t get raw and icky looking after my cold last week.

  6. Tami

The Walgreens coupon book that I got for October had chenged the wording so it no longer said that they were manufacturer coupons, rather “vendor issued coupons.” Glad they’re fixing this…such a pain when I got the “coupon Nazi” at my local Wags. Ugh. She’d get out her reading glasses every time and show me that they were manufacturer coupons! 😉 I almost want to bring a pair of reading glasses in to show HER the error of her ways next time!

    • rebecacha

      Hahahahaha! 🙂

  7. Tanya

Does the ad vary by region? I was bummed last week when I was unable to do some of the scenarios listed here. (I live in HI)

  8. thebeth

There is a $1/1 Colgate Total 4oz or larger manufacturer coupon found on page 5 of the Walgreens “Diabetes & You Fall 2011” magazine found in pharmacy. It expires 11/30.

    • thebeth

Coupon states “any Colgate Total Toothpaste” so it should work on the Total Advanced for the matchup

  9. vanessa

on the axe… is 5.49 and use the b1g1 free coupon from ss 10/23 and the 1.50/1 coupon from redplum.com it should be .62c each… or i was looking in the ss insert that in walmart they are 3.47 so with the b1g1 from ss 10/23 and the 1.50/1 from redplum.com is a much better deal than in walgreens or am o wrong?

    • hotcouponmama

      Would like to know too.

    • ShaylaCollins

Depends on whether your store allows a use of a BOGO coupon and a coupon on the one you are buying. YMMV =) Also check to the verbiage on the coupon, as sometimes the manufacturer does not allow for either.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was at my local Bi-Lo the other day and noticed a woman using the Walgreens coupon booklet coupons with her regular coupons.? I thought those were store courtesy coupons? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!

    • Brittany

Your Bi-lo might accept competitor coupons and/or prices.

      • Brittany

Haha… I just realized we have the same name…

    • Christa

My Bilo allows Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Target, Publix, Food Lion, Ingles, and Target. They are awesome! And I had no clue they even accepted these until I saw another lady using a Target coupon and asked! So it’s worth asking for sure!

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Scotts Naturals paper towels are awful. They are really rough like sandpaper & not too many sheets on a roll.

    • Lynda

      I agree….going back to Bounty.

    • mizzy

yup! i use these paper towels for cleaning only! lol…viva or bounty for everything else

      • LILY

i bough a pack when they where on sale at kmart and still haven’t finish then, there like sand paper.

        • groomsgal

I agree (100%) used the sandpaper towels for cleaning only.. glad i got them so cheap.. I just purchased the big Kirkland ones from Costco.. so much nicer

    • ShaylaCollins

And this is why I use wipes for everything! And they are a lot cheaper too! Big pack of Huggies (216 sheets) only $2.99 with infant care coupon…can’t beat less than $.02 a sheet! Haha.

  12. Mitch

I can’t believe I didn’t save my fun size candy coupons!
Now I am kicking myself because of this Walgreen’s sale and also the one at ToysRUs!
    thanks

    • anita

      AWHH..BOO! TYRICK!!!

  13. KR

On the Cover Girl deal, I got 2 press Powder $5.99 ea and 2 cheekers Bronzer (can be found along blush) $4.79 and used used $8/2 CG coupon and went with out beep and paid 16 cents OOP!!! If you don’t find Bronzer get the cheekers blush and it should work out the same way!

Remove 2 spaces after “http” to see the product

    http ://www.covergirl.com/cheekersbronzer

  14. Chris

What about the Arm & Hammer BOGO FREE Mail In Rebate Form (found in the 10/16 SS)? Can you use that with the BOGO sale and get both free???

    • laura

I just bought the arm and hammer with the intention of submitting the rebate. But when I got home, I looked at the fine print of the rebate it said that it would pay the lesser purchase price. Which would be $0. So I think I’m returning the detergent. Bummer! I thought I would be getting both free:(

      • Chris

I guess what I decided to do is buy 4. That way I am paying for two. I had two $1/2 coupons so I ended up paying $11.98 plus tax. Then submit for the rebate and get $6.99 back. That’s not too shabby for 4 bottles of detergent.

  15. dima

thank u 4 everything u do for us

  16. Annie

My local grocery store has a coupon for capri suns so my deal is even sweeter!

  17. Tara

It’s been awhile since I’ve shopped at Wags, if you buy several of the baby wipes, will just 1 of the Huggies infant care coupons cover all of them, or do you have to use one for each wipes you are buying?

    • Nicole

the wag coupons deduct for each item, you only need one coupon

  18. elizabeth

I just went to wags to get a few end of week things and checked the prices on the Samy hair products and they range from $4.99 to $9.99 each. Should make for a good deal after coupons!!

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The On the Border tortilla chips 7.5 or 8.25 oz deal, the coupon is printing .55 not $1 like you said. Just to let you guys know. Thanks for all u do!

    • Erin

Just stopping to comment accordingly. I would have loved chips for $1. At tleast the expiry on the $.55 is June of 2012. 🙂

      • Nicole G.

Last week when the link was originally posted, the coupon value WAS $1, just so everyone knows!

        • pepi

Nicole, do you by any chance have the pdf for the $1 coupon and willing to share?

  20. LeAnn K

The Link for the ‘On the Border’ chips is only for .55 not $1

  21. Jamie

Time to use the $1/2 CapriSun coupons this week, my kids love this juice!!

  22. anita

Love you Collin, Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

  23. amanda

Does anyone know if i can use the 5.00 coupon w/ the 3.00 walgreens coupon? That would make it pretty cheap!

  24. Lori

The Aleve coupon is for an 80 Ct or larger, so it wouldn’t work on the 24 ct size. Thanks Collin for all your hard work. You are a Godsend to this family’s budget.

    • Christina

Yeah, I just got that too…bummed!

  25. Dorothy

Does anyone have the coupon code for the huggies wide from the infant care book?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

the code is 5519 (taken from a previous post) however I just came back from my Walgreens and they wouldn’t punch in the code and stated that I have to have the coupon booklet 🙁 BIG TIME BUMMER. Please let me know if this works for you at your walgreens!

      • Angelina

I was able to use the code at my Walgreens just now which was very helpful–I bought 2 packs, they punched in the 5519 code and it took $4 + the .50 cent coupons. I am so happy b/c I’m a grad student on a tight budget and this $14 worth present for $5 is perfect for the baby shower I’m going to tomorrow thanks to Collin and Robin (who posted the codes).

      • ShaylaCollins

YMMV…my Wags is super friendly and types codes in all the time, but they do prefer for you to have it on hand to scan.

  26. Lisa

About the Pepsi coupon on the front page, there is in two of my local grocery store ads (Cub & Rainbow), a coupon for a free bag of Doritos when you buy three Pepsi 12 packs. It’s a manufacturer coupon that doesn’t say it has to be redeemed at said grocery stores. I’m going to try to use one of them today and hopefully get 4 12-packs plus a bag of Doritos for $9.96 total. Just wish there was also a Pepsi manufacturer coupon floating around.

    • tntdeals

      I joined you! 🙂

    • Christina

      done

  27. Brenda

I use the Align probiotic – so this week is a great deal for me. I will turn the $7 RR into FREE bags of Halloween candy! 😀

  28. Kate

Awesome night at Walgreens last night ….
    – I had 2 of the $1 off dentek coups, so 2 packs of bonus size flossers free
    – There was a clearance basket of make up, I got 6 covergirl mascaras, 3 maybelline nailpolishes, 1 Sally Hansen nail polish and 1 Revelon nail polish
    – The mascara was $3.99 and was ringing up bogo 50% off so I got free masara with my $8 off 2 coups and they gave me $6 overage with it …. very good way to end the night

  29. ashley

dentek flossers are $.25 this week after coupons and rr.

    Dentek flossers 2/$4
    -2 .75/1 from todays ss
    pay $2.50
    get $2rr

    very good deal for flossers!!!!!!

  30. Alisha

Just returned from an awesome Walgreen’s trip! I was able to finally get everything that I went in for! I bought 22 items and my pre coupon total was over 50.00 but after coupons and tax I paid $21.45 and received a $1.00 RR and saved $52.70!! Thanks for all your hard work putting together the weekly match ups for us each week Collin!

  31. Kmom

How long are the Infant care books good for. My walgreens does not have them but I can use codes if I can get them. I have a new lil nephew paired with some similac q’s, but need a code for similac if there is one in there.

    • Angelina

click on the blue hyperlink where Collin listed the deal in the Walgreens Deals and that will take you to the infacare book post on her blog where Robin listed the codes in the comment section. G’luck!

    • ShaylaCollins

Similac advance or sensitive 23.2 oz
      $2/1 – code is 5517
      Good luck!

  32. Mary C.

I go the Axe body wash and it was a great deal!!! Afterwards I went to walmart to price check and the 12 oz. were $3.79 BUT the 18 oz. (that said 50% more FREE same price as 12 oz.) was 5.79 so I am glad I went to walgreens. Here is how I did it!!
    6 Axe bw 18 oz. $5.79 x 6= $34.74
    -B1G1 50% $2.90 x 3=$8.70
    -B1G1 mc $5.79 x 3=$17.37
    6 Axe bw =$8.67 or $1.44 for 1!!!!!!!
    Plus tax it was $11.14
    Savings of $26.07

    • Janice

Great deal, but you could have gotten them for $0.70 each by using the $1.50 from RedPlum.com and a BOGO for every 2 you purchased. I just did the deal last night. I’m in Hawaii so our prices are higher, $5.99 each. But I ended up getting them for $0.75 each. So awesome!

  33. Alicia4207

So upset my Lumene coupons are $2/1 from the Chicago Trib.. if anyone isn’t using their $4/1 I’d be happy to take them off your hands 🙂

  34. Chandra

Today I did the Huggies wipes deal using the Infanct Care Guide. The cashier told me she had to “confiscate” my coupon if I wanted to use it. I told her I had used it lots of times and they had always let me keep it. She called a manager which told me corporate is making them collect them now. Has anyone else had this issue? I miss that coupon already! lol

    • Sarah

I would call corporate to find out if that’s true

    • ShaylaCollins

That’s a bummer…I was planning on using mine this week so hopefully that is not true. I buy wipes for my whole family since they do not have a Wags close to them (we have 7 kiddos 2 and under). I try to only buy a few at a time but if that’s the case, I may have to “clear the shelve”, which I do not like to do =(

    • Christa

You should try another Walgreens. I have 3 very close to me. One wanted to keep my coupon this morning, so I cancelled my transaction and went to another one and they just punched it in. I think they are starting to want to keep these coupons and the second store I went to just wrote down what the code was and for how much it took off to put in her drawer. The manager that is super friendly at the first store said that she has heard both that they are supposed to keep them and also that they aren’t. I did this deal the last time at the 2nd store and had no problems either time there so I would just find another Walgreens if you can!

    • Mary C.

Yep that happened to me too!!! She told me that they have to have proof now. Which makes no sense because they dont take the ad coupons or the monthly coupon!!!

    • Sharon

Yes I have had that happen with the Pampers coupon from the booklet. The manager informed me they had to keep my coupons and it says on the coupon “manufacturer coupon” so he said I couldn’t combine the infant care coupon with any other coupons. I’ve had a really hard time using the booklet with any other coupons. Sometimes I get a good cashier and am able to do one of the deals listed.

  35. burningstarslast

Where can you get the infant care guide?

Was bummed on how small the paper towel rolls were today so I skipped that deal but got a bunch of the other ones posted. Thanks hip!

    • Chandra

They had them at our local Walgreens quite awhile back. They were very hard to get around here. Some stores did have them at all. I know you can buy them on ebay now.

      • burningstarslast

Thank you Chandra.. I just looked at them on ebay. I did have that coupon but spaced that it was a “walgreens” and I could of used the 50 cent one too oh well still got them for super cheap. 🙂

  36. sturgissaver

Just got back from WalGreens and bought Fun size twix and milky way. I handed over the Man Q first and then the in ad Q and it only deducted $1. Guess it figured if I used a coupon that I didn’t deserve to have the full amount deducted. I wasted a perfectly good coupon!

    • Faye

Did you try to use the Hershey’s coupon on the Twix and Milky Way? Those are Mars candy bars, so the Hershey’s coupon wouldn’t work. (It works for Reese’s, Kit Kat, Hershey’s chocolate, Hershey’s Almond, etc.). Hope they gave you the man. Q back.

    • Lindsey

I almost did the same thing, but noticed I had picked up a Mars bag instead. Phew, close call….

  37. couponlady.br

I have 3 manufacturer cpns for $5 off in Enfamil Newborn that I received from previous purchases in walgreens. Since I won’t be using them because I breastfeed my baby I would like to give them to someone that really needs them. Please give your email.

    • Katelynd

I have two baby girls at home and I just stopped nursing because it was too hard while I was going to school. I would love to use those if you haven’t given them away already. It would really help out.

  38. dy

I love Popcorn Indiana too….kettlecorn yummo….just wanted you to know that my Walmart has it on sale for $1.86….and with those wonderful $1 off coupons on Facebook……wow! stock up time!

Thanks Collin for all the “hip” things you do for us!

  39. sally

I cant find the kettle chips on coupons.com even under the zipcode 33133:(

  40. Steph

I bought 3 bags of Mars snack size candy (2 twix and 1 snickers) using the $1.99 in ad coupon making my total $5.97. Used the mc $1.50/3 making the total $4.47. And then a $2 RR printed out courtesy of Mars! I didn’t see this as part of the deal above, but that made 3 bags of candy for $2.47!!

  41. Lori

BTW you can get Free Colgate Total (I know you said your coupons for it expired 10/22) There is a free magazine available in the pharmacy called “Diabetes and You” and it has a couple different coupons in it, including a $1/1 Colgate total toothpaste 4oz+…used them on the Colgate Total Advanced (and the RR is not just for the “advanced clean” it’s also for “advanced whitening and whitening gel”..so FREE toothpaste that way! Yipee!

  42. kmuth777

I live in Orlando, Florida and my 10/2 SS did not have a Sure deodorant coupon. Did anyone else have this problem?

    • Faye

I have 3, if you want them. Email me: imfsi@aol.com with your name and address and I will gladly mail them out tomorrow.

  43. Melinda

Wal-zyr 30ct (Walgreen’s brand Zyrtec) was on sale BOGO with peelies! So, they were Buy One for $13.99, Get One FREE. There were peelies attached to some of them for “Save $3 NOW” (they beeped, manager verified everything was correct, and put it through {laughing while he did it}). Peelies…..on W brand! I couldn’t believe it! So, I used a peelie on each one, paid only $7.99 for 60. That’s only $0.13 each pill. Usually they’re around $0.23 each at the best price. I checked another local store, but none of those boxes had the peelies. Bummer! Oh well, I did get 4 boxes at this price, so I’m happy! Check for the peelies at your store.

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The On The Border coupon that printed was only for 55 cents off of 1, instead of $1/1.

  45. Tina

If anyone wants enfamil infant and todller formula powder samples I have 4 I’ve recieved along with
12 – $2 off any pediasure product coupons
    2 – $1.50 off huggies diaper coupon
2 – $3 off huggies little movers coupon
    2 – $0.50 off huggies wipes
    1 – $1 off bordeoux product
14 – $1 off cream of wheat products

I don’t have a baby or kidas so if anyone wants them please email me at Tina101177@aol.com and I will gladly mail them out.

  46. issamae420

There is a $1/1 coupon in the Fall Diabetes and You magazine available at the pharmacy for the Colgate toothpaste this week and if you use 2, it makes them free! 🙂

  47. melissa

There is a coupon on the nestle site. I googled nestle printable hallowwen coupon and did images and it came up – went to the site, and filled out info and got coupons. $1 off 2 bags. Not as good as the $1 off 1 but need lots for our church so this works great!

  48. nicole

I have 75 cent off dentek flossers over 2$. I should be able to use two of them with the 2/4$ deal and after the register reward they would each be 25 cents
