Do these games work with the Leappad or do you have to get the Explorer Games? We have a leapster but was going to get the leappad for my 3yr old for xmas.
far as i know, the leapster games only work on leapster and leapster 2 .
Leapster Explorer games work on the LeapPad!
always read the back of the game, I used to even use them in my kids Quantum leappad. The back tells you what systems compatible with and the system you use if you look in the book or pull it up online, it will also tell you which games you can use. Hope that helps. 🙂

Bummer this game will not work with the Leapster explorer which is what my guy has……also it doesn’t say it will work with the Leap pad on the box. I don’t think it will work unless it has 2 game inserts since the Leapster Explorer and Leapster/Leapster 2 games are different sizes.
The Toy R Us wish book says that all Leapster and Explorer games are 25% off making the game $18.74 ( reg. $24.99). After coupon making it only $13.74! Sounds like a good deal to me! My son is getting the Leap pad for Christmas so I will be able to sneak in an extra game in for a great price!
