I was able to get one for $1 but was confused to see that I was charged $5 shipping and handling when I got the confirmation in my e-mail. When I agreed and clicked “submit order” it said it was only going to be $1.

I don’t know. I became a member shortly before they started doing it and they sent me an email asking if I would like to have my rewards put on a debit MasterCard….(actually I think they might have sent me a survey about it, I don’t remember) either way I replied that I would want one and they mailed it to me. I LOVE it!! And I can assure you it has nothing to do with credit history, cause if it did they would not have offered me one 😉 I would try emailing and ask how you can qualify for it?

I tried this and it is too slow. I spent an hr and half the other day for the American Express GC from FedEx. I do not need this that bad. I actually did get the GC after all. I did not think it worked, but got the email confirmation. I was doing a happy dance that my family rather found amusing. I never get lucky on these kid of deals and the gift card will come in handy for christmas shopping. I will pass on this, thought I am tempted to try again.haha. A good deal can be too hard to walk away from
