can you get MORE than 4 packs of crayons? anyone know…? i’m worried that if you can, they will all be gone when i can get there… thanks!

    • All4Saving

The price match at Target and Walmart should help!

    • Jennie

you can TOTALLY buy more than 4 boxes. Last time I bought 24 boxes–2 for my kids and then a box each (plus extras) as party favors. =)

    • Jennie

oh, but you HAVE to buy them in sets of 4–and I have had to wait for shipments to come in because of only finding 3 boxes. They wouldn’t let me even pay for 4 boxes and only take the 3 home–nope, they wanted to charge me the full price for each box.

  2. Shannon

The Fisher Price diapers that are $4.98 are the nightime kind with only 18 in a pack for size 4. With the deal- this works out to $7.47 for 36 diapers which is a little over $.20/diaper. They are much cheaper on Amazon with Amazon mom & subscribe & save.

    • Suzy

I just did the math as well and was going to post the same thing. Glad we are both on the same page!

      • Shannon

Slightly better deal to uy the biggest box of FP diapers at Toys-R-Us but I still opt for Amazon mom & Subscribe & Save. Luvs are pretty cheap on Amazon right now.

  3. Jessica

I have never tried Fisher Price diapers. Does any one know how they run? Can you trust the weights on the box? I find my twins need a size bigger in CVS brand. Thanks.

    • Coachswife

I don’t want to be a negative Nelly, but these diapers are awful. I bought them last time Collin posted a special for them on Amazon.
They are true to size, but are so thin and non absorbant. They leaked almost everytime, even the night ones. I’ve spent more money extra loads of laundry from sheet washing to multiple outfits needing to be changed. I am not a diaper snob either, they are just no good……in my opinion =)

      • CJ

Yeah…these diapers aren’t the best. Sometimes they work, but most times leak πŸ™

    • Kris

They run like huggies diapers. I use them from time to time. I cloth diaper 99% of the time. I really like these diapers and have never had a leak.

      • Deb

Kris, that is so refreshing to hear.
I thought cloth diapers had gone the way of the do-do bird. I can remember many, many years ago seeing my Mom and Grandmother changing the cloth ones and dipping the soiled ones in a clean toilet-that’s the way they did it back then πŸ™‚
Life is so much easier now…

        • trailmama

we cloth diapered during the day too and used these at night. theyworked fine. my daughter is potty trained at 2 and i owe it all to cloth diapers! πŸ™‚ (she decided to do it all on her own – i wasn’t even ready! LOL)

    • Stefanie

I have to say I agree that these diapers are true to size, but are AWFUL! They are thin and flimsy, we almost always have leaks from them, pee diapers smell worse in these than almost any other I’ve tried, and the urine cakes up in funny ways after a short time. I got a good deal on these dipes on amazon, but would not buy again. We cloth diaper about 98% of the time now, and still have a few of these as backup, but let me tell you they are good motivation to just stick with the cloth, lol.

    • Meg

I bought these when they were on clearance to see how they worked, because I needed nighttime diapers for my son and they have never leaked during the day or night. I believe size is true.

      • Leah

I agree with them being not so great, I got them through the amazon deal too and they were not good. My son leaked out of them a TON

      • Shannon

I agree- we’ve bought them in size 3 & size 4 when Collin has posted the great Amazon deals in the past & had hardly any leaks at all. I think it’s all in how your kiddo is shaped.

    • Laura

I have tried FP diapers and didn’t like them at all. I have used other generic diapers and never had any problems…but the 1 time I bought the FP my daughter had major diaper rash.

    • Michelle

We love these diapers. I switch between Huggies or FP, getting which ever brand is on sale when we need more. I especially like the overnight FP diaper, works great. Never had any leakage problems with FP. Oh and yes I believe they are true to size.

    • RobinElise

I think these diapers are great! No leaks – my son even went through a short period where he had “stomach issues” and not one leak. True to size as well.

      • Kelly

We love FP diapers – I have a tall, skinny toddler and I think they work best on his size/length. Plus they seem softer to me than other brands.

  4. Melissa

If you are participating in the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box program, this is a great and affordable item to include in your box.

    • Sharon

I was thinking the same thing:)

    • jessica

      what is this?

  5. Kristin Nicole

Can you only get these deals in-store? I am hoping that I could get the deal ONLINE! No Toys R us close to me ;(

    • Kristin Nicole

Nevermind! I just read instore purchase only….blah. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing.

      • sam

I just searched for them online and they are listed b1g1 50% and free shipping with shop runner but .23 a piece for size 4 is not a good price to me HTH

  6. mamaofblessings

Great deal! I will PM the crayons at Walmart and snag some for our operation shoeboxes as well as some spare for the house.

    • mamaofblessings

I meant Operation Christmas Child boxes :p

  7. Andrea

My local Walmart will not price match an ad unless the ad price is a per item amount (if the add read: 25 cents per pack). They will not match an ad price for 4/$1. This creates issues for me all the time trying to price match with Meijer ads because many of their sales are X items for a dollar amount.

    • Tina

I would just call the number on the reciept and tell them about it(you’ll get the person on duty that is in charge). If I was still not happy I would call back and you will get the store manager. If your still not happy call back again and you’ll get someone higher; but, I have never had to call 3X. It’s worth a try!

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Will Walmart take the ad printed off the internet? Ive heard they will but dont want to waste the ink and paper if they dont. I’d like to buy some and donate them with the board games we got a sweet deal on a while back ago πŸ™‚ Thanks in advance!

    • Julie

mine did. HTH. You can also pick up printed ads in store if it’s close to your Walmart.

  9. lisa

If you buy two of the 70 count packages for size 5 it ends up being .18 per diaper which isn’t too bad. Free shipping with shoprunner if you do it online.

    • McRoach

I ordered two boxes of the 82 ct. size 4, which after free shoprunner shipping and tax, works out to be $.16 a diaper, plus not having to leave my couch and deal with factoring in rewards and money towards my next purchase. Less out of pocket and less gas spent getting to the store! I also factor that in…plus the aggravation I cause my husband by making him come out with me to score these deals ;P Thanks Collin!

  10. Janette

Walmart shouldn’t even need the ad if they follow corporate policy. I price match at my Walmart all the time and just tell them what the price is and what store.

  11. Kimberly

Too bad they aren’t the washable crayons: my two year old colors on everything! I’ve had to spend a small fortune on magic erasers. But I will buy them to donate; our dollar store has really cute “branded” (actual disney, sesame street etc.) coloring books that would be great with these.

  12. Jenny

Yea I was wondering if I really need the toys r us ad to PM at walmart? I don’t have one either and really don’t wanna waste ink…

  13. Laura

Last time they had the crayons at this price, I picked up 12 of them and used the $3/$3 birthday coupon that my son got for his birthday from their birthday program and got them all for free. I am using them in each of the 12 Operation Christmas child boxes! Love it! πŸ™‚ Thanks to Colling and TRU for the deal! πŸ™‚

  14. nina

Went to Toys r us at 9:30am- total nightmare! They no longer carry the FP diapers, disconntinued a couple of months ago, no one knows anything about this ad. While I am there I call the closest Babies R us and they have no ldea about this ad either, they also stopped selling the diapers!? No employee has any idea what i am talking about. Incindently, I wanted to purchace a couple of other things, however, Toys r us doesn’t accept competators coupons and the toddler toothbrushes i brought to the register rang up double the posted price on the shelf–soo annoying!! waste of gas and my energy on a day off-Call your store before you go to ensure deals!!

  15. littleblessings

Just to let everyone know who doesn’t live near toys rus this offer on the diapers is available online as well. through shop at home get 2% and if you signed up for the free 30 shipping trial you get a great deal on diapers!

  16. Sarah

I have never done price-matching before so not reallly sure how it works! I would like to price match at Target as I bet our Toys R Us will be out of the crayons by the time I get there (which won’t be until tomorrow)! Can anyone tell me what all I need to do? I looked on the Target site and can’t find info about price matching. Thanks!

    • Anna m

Take the ad to guest services and tell them you are pricmatching. Put you have to buy in fours.

  17. Jessica

Just a heads up, I went to Target this morning and tried to price match the crayons, they wouldn’t do it. I had the ad printed out and in my hand. Manager said they won’t honor online ads or ads tied to a bonus sale or any ad tied to any sort of bonus card, the ad has to be from a newspaper circular. So, I drove 20 minutes down the road and bought them at Toys R Us.

  18. Barbara

Just a heads up about the Subscribe & Save Program on Amazon- as of Oct. 13, they changed the discount for Diapers and Wipes to just 20% instead of the previous 30%. Existing subscriptions will not be affected and you can change the size of your product, but once you cancel the subscription, you will no longer be able to receive the 30% discount.

The only reason I know is I just had a LONG online chat about what I thought was a price discrepancy but it turned out they changed the policy.

Just thought I would pass the word along…

  19. mamaofblessings

Printed the ad online and went into my local Walmart this morning. I had other things I was purchasing and selected a cashier that looked cheery. I told her I needed to price match the crayons from toys r us for $0.25 each or 4/$1 and she didn’t even ask for the ad and put them right through. I was so thankful! 2 boxes went into Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and the other 2 went into my homeschool stockpile.
