Target 90% off Clearance: LEGO Value Packs Only $0.39 and Planters Tailgate Almonds Only $0.59?!

OK, so I have gotten a few emails now regarding a sweet Target clearance find! According to many of you, Target reportedly has the LEGO value packs (like the pic above) on clearance for only $0.39! That’s a whopping 90% off the retails price!
These mini LEGO packs are sold by the registers. Also, keep in mind that these sets will probably NOT be marked on clearance or even on sale, so make sure to do a price check as they should ring up for less.
…And wouldn’t these make great stocking stuffers?! 🙂
Also, one other 90% off clearance bargain you may spot – the 22.5 oz Planters Tailgate Almonds, Honey Smoked variety. According to reader, Nikki, these are ringing up at only $0.59 – which is in fact 90% off the retail cost! Wow!

Scored the Lego sets this morning. My homeschoolers (Colin 7 and Morgan 10) saw the post, snatched up their cash and headed right out for some Toys For Tots! They each bought 10 (left plenty for the other bargain hunters)! When we add this to the 10 TS3 Operation games from the other day, we have been able to score lots of goodies for Toys For Tots! My Target had tons of the lego packs left after I scored mine. There are several sets that count, my store had a lego city helicopter, Atlantis sub, ninjago person and a star wars plane. I would say there were at least 40 sets left. I found 3 cans of the almonds too. They weren’t marked, just with the rest of the nuts. I also scored a Harry Potter children’s costume for $2, best target trip I have had in a long time. 🙂
I got about 10 of them yesterday, but went to a different store today to see if there were other sets ( mine only had the ninjago), but they were wiped clean – they only had the toy story 3 – which are not on clearance.) But I did get 2 bags of star wars suckers marked down to .74 cents from the halloween section that would go nice with the legos.
went today and they had the legos but they were $3.99 went and scanned them and they were still $3.99 same thing for the nuts 🙁 i wish i could have got some legos. they would be perfect to donate for operation child!
Just got back from target…they had TONS of the ninjago legos, but none of the other sets. Scored big time with that, hit the halloween clearance, then got three cans of the nuts! So my total was around $20 and my receipt said I saved around $180! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! =D
My Target in Indiana did not have either of these items anywhere. I did find a spy video watch on clearance for $27 and some change, regularly $49.99
The peanuts rang up $1.59 at my Target, but that’s still a great deal so I got 2 anyway. The cashier was excited to take her break and go buy some of the nuts – I told her there were 2 left after I bought mine. I did find a couple Lego sets left, but couldn’t think who I would give them to so I left them for someone else.
Also scored some Halloween goodies – although a lot of what was left was not ringing up 90% off even though the sign said 90% off everything.
I got mine at the Reading, PA store and the manager was searching into the huge price difference. So go quick!!!
The legos at my Target scanned price not found:( They said I could have them for 1.25 so I only bought a couple. I wanted them for a party favor for my son’s birthday party next week but 1.25 was a little much:( I did score lots of cheap costumes and halloween shirts though!!
I went looking today. Everything (all clearance racks) were clean!! I ALSO wanted them for treat bags. My Sons birthday is in 2wks :/ oh well
Got the sets at 39 cents a piece and multiple kinds too. Picked up 15 different ones for my boys stockings, Got the 2 different kinds of the tail gate nuts at 59 cents a piece. Got 6 of each,going to be going in gift baskets and holiday food trays. thank you!

Yeah! My Target, in Methuen Ma, had TONS of the legos at the registers! So excited! Plan on donating all 10 that I bought along with TS3 operations that I got Sunday. I’ve never been able to donate before and this feels great! I can help some families in our area! My store had all of their halloween items 90% off! Scored these great Nutcrackers, normally $12.99 for $1.29!! My nephew loves nutcrackers, he collects them. What a great find! I looked at them regular price and was torn about buying him one, today I bought him 2! Today at Target with my coupons and sales I saved…$101.63!! AWESOME!! Forgot my candy coupons though 🙁 Will have to head back at the candy was 70% off. Thanks so much! My nephew, who is 7, and I had a fabulous time today!!
Went this morning and they had already packed up all of our haloween in Lees summit Mo but I got probably 50 lego sets and left 50-100 for others,also out of nuts:(
I found them in Bolingbrook, IL. 3 types, Atlantis, Ninjago and City but Toy Story was $3.99. There were lots left.

I was able to get each one of the legos today at the Arnold MO Target for each of my kids for christmas. I also was able to get the almonds it was the last ones though. They still had their candy 90% off which is a blessing because I’m going to use that for stocking stuffers for my kids. Haha. When I called Target customer service they told me they scanned them. I asked twice to make sure. Ended up swinging by anyway and they rang up for .44 I think the customer service rep was just being lazy and telling me he was scanning them.
Just bought 61 Lego kits and left plenty more for others. Our Target was well stocked. I did buy the last 7 cans of nuts though. What an awesome deal. For Christmas with our extended family the kids all get a big bag each and each family buys a $2-$3 small gift for each child. Each child gets a big bag full of little goodies and they love it. These will be awesome for the boys. All the leftovers will be heading to our children’s shelter. Thanks for the heads up!!

Thank you so much for posting this awesome deal. I snagged a couple lego sets for my little boys and a few to donate to our church for Christmas. The lego sets that ring up .39 cents also include the atlantis set, helicopter set and the star wars set along with the ninja set posted here. The almonds were all gone, but I found some other tailgate nuts and took them to the register just in case they were marked down too and sure enough .59 cents! Whoop, Whoop! And they’re delicious (Tailgate Nut mix-chipotle almonds and peanuts with corn nuts and mini pretzels). Thanks again Colin, you rock!

Colin, you totally rock! After reading this last night, I high-tailed it to my nearest Target to check it out. Sure enough, I picked up 10 of the Ninjago guys for 39 cents a piece (excited to use those for party favor bags, I have 3 boys!) and I also managed to score 5 canisters of the Planters. The only flavor that store carried that was “secretly” clearanced was the Tailgate Nut Mix (chipotle flavored). But just those two deals combined, I walked out of there with $69.85 worth of items for $6.85. I sweetened the deal even more with a bag of super hero candy and a bag of Star Wars Clone Wars lollipops (halloween clearances)for 74 cents each (additional items for future party favor bags). SCORE!!!! THANK YOU COLIN!! Was able to pick up eight cans of nuts at .59 each! My daughter was with me and she was excited since she got to take half of the nuts back to college with her. She has three room mates to share with. These are going to be great for the Holidays!! Still was able to leave some on the shelves.

Where were you all finding the nuts?…I stopped by two stores and didn’t find any.
I found them in the isle with the other nuts & snacks. They were not marked on clearance on the shelf. I had to scan them myself to check the price. My Target had them for $1.79 which I thought was still a good deal 😉 Hope that helps!
I only found the nuts at 1 store-went to 3-and it was the Chipotle flavor and none of the 3 stores had the Legos-only empty hangars 🙁

I was able to score the Star Wars, Ninjago, and Atlantis at the Target in Romeoville, Il. They rang up at .39 cents. There were more Ninjagos than anything. All at the registers too. HTH 🙂

I went to my Target, and scored almost 35 bags of the Legos (to be split between me and several of my friends for our kids!)… I can’t wait to see how my son’s creativity runs wild with all the “spare” people, wheels, and parts he is going to have… And there are still almost 40 bags still left at my Target (Fernandina Bch), so I did not clear the shelves!!!
My store only had the Star Wars plane for .39 cents! Super great for me as I am having a Lego Star Wars Birthday party for my soon to be 7 year old! Lots left in Lynchburg, VA. I found them in the Halloween section in the back!

What AWESOME deals! I thought I might miss out but I tried tonight at my Target and found a few canisters of the nuts for $0.59 each and the legos for $0.39/each! There were a *ton* of legos, in nearly every single checkout aisle – I only picked up a dozen but there were a couple hundred or so left. Thanks so much to all who reported this deal!
I went to target in saint paul mn and the legos on the hangers were gone 🙁 and for the nuts, the lady working in the food dept had no idea what I was talking about and told me whenever something goes on clearence, it gets donated to goodwill after a few days and that all the halloween stuff was donated last night after close. sure enough I went to the seasonal section and it was filled up with big ol’ christmas plastic strage bins
I’m having the hardest time finding these in Southern California. I wend to 6 different Targets and only found 6 at one store. Thing is, when guest services look up the SKU, they’re showing over 150 in stock but they’re not at the registers. HELP!

The Lego’s were wiped out at my Target but I managed to score 8 Cans of Planters for .59 each! They were not marked as clearance on an end cap. People were watching me put 8 cans in my cart and must have thought I was “NUTS”..lol. When I told them they were on clearance for .59 they started grabbing a bunch too. I am going to put them in the large gift baskets of goodies I am making my family for christmas.
woo hoo, picked up about 30 legos, no peanuts. But i am excited for the legos. Plan on hitting another store in hopes that i can find different sets.
Didn’t find the peanuts, but did find Star Wars lego sets at the registers for the .39cent price. Grabbed several. Apparently today, those Lego sets are on the Salvage list (going back to the manufacturer), and are being pulled. However, I’ve heard that Target will still sell them to you if you ask. Good luck!

what does salvaged mean? I went today and the ninja one’s were ringing up 0, so I told them I heard they were 39 cents so they gave them to me for 39 cents. I got about 20 here in Chicago.
We went out and looked this morning they were all sold out at our closet Target. So I called the next closest and she said someone at Target main office made an ERROR and that is why they were ringing up. It was never supposed to happen so they fixed it overnight. We were not able to get any. Bummer!

My Target had the legos and they were $.39! Love this deal. I couldn’t find the nuts though, so I will have to look next time I go back. Legos are a great buy and I thought even to put in the toys for tots if nothing else! Thanks for sharing.
