I just posted about the new Hormel coupons on Coupons.com, but was hesitant to highlight using the new $3/1 Hormel Party Tray product coupon for this deal as I wasn’t sure if the Hormel Snack Trays were considered Party Trays. Has anyone purchased this size before and is the price worth it? I’m thinking about picking one up for our small little family Thanksgiving but not sure.
We get these all the time for movie nights or for the holidays, they are great..
I have purchased them before as snacks for my daughter. They’re small but worth $2 IMO. However, this coupon does beep at the register. My cashier put it through and I had two, both beeped.
I just printed out where it shows that they are included in the party trays just in case they want to say anything.
I’ve gotten them before — It’s like a lunchable for adults. Good Stuff!
How long does something like this last? I printed 1 for Thanksgiving but thought about printing 1 more for my daughters birthday which isn’t until the end of December. I would pick it up the day the coupon expires, the 7th, but don’t know if I should chance it to put it out 20 days later…
I’m not sure what exactly is in them, but if it’s just pepperoni, sausage and cheese then you can freeze it. I freeze the packs of pepperoni all the time. The cheese “might” be a little crumbly, but if it’s bite sized no one would notice.
Just a thought.
Okay, so I don’t know about crackers freezing, but they’d probably be fine.

crackers, cheese, and a meat-basically the same as a party tray but smaller 🙂 plus the tray is nice and re-usable!
I want to print this coupon so bad, but someone mentioning it beeps makes me wonder about using it at my walmart. SIGH. Awesome deal and very tempting.LOL.
FYI- if you have a Meijer nearby, they sell these there too and for close to the same price. My Meijer NEVER gives me grief about coupons! 🙂 I have to go to Wal Mart this week anyways, but if they give me a hassle I just won’t buy it and will get it at Meijer when I finish up my grocery list! Not worth stressing over or fighting with a cashier!
Can anyone tell me how to tell when the coupons expire.. I see some of the movie ones I want an dthey usually are CHEAP on Black Friday but I dont want to print them all out if the expire before then..thanks!

they expire the 19th.. I just printed them incase anyone needs to know!
My experience is they usually expire 30 days from the date you print them so today being the 7th of Nov. they will expire the 7th of December. Now I say that and there are times this rule does not apply but most often I have found it to be so on coupons.com. HTH

My target had the larger party trays on sale for 9.99 last week, not sure if they are still on a price cut, but $7 after coupon is a great price for the larger party trays.
I live in KY and walmart prices are usually higher than prices posted on here for just about any coupon match-up deals. The snack trays were 5.48 if I remembered it right. I would think that KY will have lower prices lol.
Ours are the same price in Mississippi $5.48
I know they carry the bigger trays at my Commissary and I think they carry the little ones. Don’t know about price, but they seldom give me any grief about a coupon. Plus, I think I’ve seen these at the BX too.

Where in Walmart are these located? Is it near the deli meat??
mine is in those refrigerated open cases by the deli/hot deli area. Its where you can buy pre-made sandwiches and salads and such. Usually in the grocery side as soon as you walk in the store 🙂

Does this coupon beep? I don’t want to be held up by coupon interpretation and the coding is very item specific so I want to make sure. Does it JUST SCAN with out any intervention??
mine scanned fine but the cashier didnt want to let me use it because of the whole “party tray” “snack tray” wording…. but it will scan with no problem
it didnt beep glad i got coupon when I did think they are both gone now
i had a little bit of a issue with this because the coupon says “party tray” and if you look the one in the picture at the top says “snack tray” the cashier didnt want to let me do it but the coupon scanned fine so just beware

They gave me a really hard time about using this coupon, I was only buying one and he said, this says party tray not snack tray. But he eventually said, “oh well they took it” but for next time know its the party tray. (Aka, “I apologize I was wrong!”
