Does anyone know the price at the commissary? Thanks.

    • AnnaM.

Don’t know exactly, but I believe it’s about $2 at our Commissary.

  2. GIl

I wonder if we should hold out for a possible Publix BOGO deal on them?

    • Laura

I thought they were just on sale last week at Publix? Maybe I’m wrong though. If so, I doubt they would be bogo next week. The coupon expires 11/18.

  3. Jenn

Expires 11-18-11 so have about a week and a half to use. Anyone know of any sales?

  4. Denise@TogetherWeSave

You could use this coupon at Kroger where Peter Pan is on sale for $2.49 and receive the $1 off 2 Saving Star coupon.

    • ericswifeowensmom

oooh, thanks! I’d rather chew off my own arm than to deal with Walmart using coupons! Sad I know. Knowledgeable cashiers and CSN’s would be a start WallyWorld:)

      • Gina

I laughed out loud at your comment! I feel the same way!!! I went in the other day and before I put anything at all on the conveyer belt, I asked the cashier if she was coupon friendly. She smiled and said yes so I started unloading. 🙂 Nicest cashier I had ever run across at a Walmart – sure beats the girl that wrote her name and date on every coupon and had the CS Manager sign every one too. Ack!!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

they can’t help that they have to do that for their jobs. just depends on what the manager is like, and what the cashiers are mandated to do.

      • Angie

I second that. I went to walmart last week, and was told if any coupon did not scan, they could not accept it. I had a couple of the BIC $1 off any stationary product, so i was going to get free pens, I think they were on sale for .97….. Of course it did not scan because it was higher than the product. So they did not accept it, so no overage, nothing. That happened for a couple other products too. I made them take back the products cuz I did not want them. Target, here I come!

        • Ashley

It’s funny you say that because last week none of my printed coupons scanned at Walmart. The cashier told me that lately none of the printed manufacturer’s coupons are scanning, so they have been told to manually input them. (I should mention this was the most coupon/price match friendly cashier ever.) She manually input all (about 30) coupons and even gave me price matches that I hadn’t seen. It was awesome!

      • CiCi

I agree! I will only use coupons from the Sunday paper inserts at Wal Mart from now on. Last time I tried to use internet printed ones they declined becuase the wording on the coupons stated “No copies”. I told the cashier it was an internet coupon and I had only printed to limited amount of 2. I was using 2 coupons, not 20! How is that a copy. So frustrating. Not worth the hassle!

        • Amie

If you look at internet coupons…..there are different numbers at the end of the code. I don’t have one infront of me. But, look at one of them, the numbers are different when you print 2 so you can tell they are not copied. Just show them that….educate them!

          • CiCi

She also told me that all coupons were supposed to have a watermark. Not gonna happen on a printed one. Can’t really argue with that. Sometimes it’s not worth my breath to try to educate them.

      • mary

        lol!!!!

    • tomcatnavywife

I don’t blame you, it’s not only internet coupons, it’s coupons from the paper, I had six coupons for $1 off one pack of UP gum, the cashier looked at each one of them, and had the nerve to say that they were told to be wary of customers using more than 2 like coupons of the same item…REALLY? I use to love my trips to Walmart; but now I would rather go to the dentist! lol =D

  5. melani

yeay! Dont even need peanut butter right now, but at .50 off each I will pick up a few!

  6. SK

I went to Trader Joe’s yesterday and couldn’t even FIND peanut butter! Has the shortage begun?

    • joeywishtoo

Oh no!! We LOVE Trader Joe’s PB!

      • krista

        Us too!!

  7. nina

Awesome deal for my children to take with them to the food pantry next week.

    • joeywishtoo

      How sweet of you! 🙂

  8. Kari

Is peanut butter really going up? I havent noticed an increase yet.

    • tomcatnavywife

I think it depends on what area of the country you live in, like TX, where I heard they were hit hard, in VA they weren’t as affected, but some merchants will probably jump on the ‘let’s raise the price anyway’ bandwagon just to earn extra $!

      • Jana

I’m in North Texas and last week it was over $4 a jar, for the little jars in stores. CVS’s have been cleared out since the 3/$5 sale, I think last week. I definately think you’re right about everyone jumping on the band wagon, and they also do fast usually before the wholesale price actually increases.

    • Ashley

It’s suppose to go up almost 60%. Speaking with someone that works in the grocery section of my walmart, she said peanut butter has been flying off the shelves.

    • Christine

The Target peanut butter I usually get went up 40% almost a month ago (I live in MD)…I sure hope it doesn’t go up again! I haven’t bought Target brand peanut butter since; name brands have been much cheaper with coupons lately.

  9. Corrine

these are on sale at meijers for 2.00.

  10. yangzi

Is anybody else having a problem with Coupons.com coupon software? When I use Firefox to try to print Coupons.com coupons, I get “sorry we don’t support your printer or printer settings” message. It started a few days ago although I didn’t change anything. I tried to fix it by following the instruction but it still gives me the same error message.

However, when I use IE, I can print coupons fine. I don’t know what to do. Any ideas?

  11. Lisa

I’m from the deep south. And yes the price increase has started here. At my local grocery(winn Dixie) A jar of Jiff 18 0z. is 3.99. It’s just about the same @ all the stores. So started my stock up a couple of weeks ago. They (farmers)grow alot of peanuts here. So I guess we get hit first. With price increase.

  12. AnnaM.

Cool! Thank you! I’m always looking for coupons for PB, Nutella, and Kraft cheese (or other cheap cheese).

  13. Barb J

Anyone know if these are on sale this week at Harris Teeter? Super Doubles ends today.

    • kathy

They are a ridiculous price of 3.29 ea 🙁

  14. Ann

I just used this at Walmart, purchased three 16.3 oz sizes and the Q didn’t recognize the product I purchased. The cashier gave me the $1.50 off anyway, but I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work.

    • melissa

I just noticed, the coupon starts with a 9, and 9 coupons beep at a lot of stores.

  15. kristen

my target has 16oz for $1.02!

    • mammas

Is this a sale and what area are you from? This is an awesome deal, almost too good to be true in my area. 🙂

  16. Amy H.

The expiration on this is very short, just so you know. 11/18 for me.

  17. hotmomcoupon

Does someone have a code for free shipping from LOT 18? please

    • hotmomcoupon

I have a $20 credit there, and the deal would be free if I can get free shipping.

  18. alanacost

if my store has 3 bundled together for one price, will that still be considered as buying 3? Thx

    • melissa

no. The coupon to buy 3, so the register is looking for 3 upc’s to attach the coupon to. a bundled pack, only one upc is scanned, so the coupon will come up as invalid.

  19. Danyelle

Harris Teeter in Charlotte area has Peter Pan this week for 1.89

  20. Yessi

how do i print the coupon? i already downloaded the printer program thing but i see no coupon?

  21. humphreyvicki

My local target has peter pan pb on an unadvertised sale of $2.09 right now. Target brand is atleast .20 more and jiff/skippy are just under $4 a jar. I went ahead and got 6 jars to add to my shelf. BTW I live in NE and have seen the price jumping here too as I used to get the generic brand for just over $1/jar

  22. Helen

In Kerrville, TX, HEB has Peter Pan for $2.00/jar, 16 oz, jar.
