I bought this thing on the last promotion. Just be sure to read that it is not for freezer, its mostly for leftovers from what the box says.
Really? I think I would only use it for the freezer.
I read the pdf directions provided on how to use it listed on the web page and it said put your left overs in fridge or freezer. Does the box say not to put it in the freezer? I’d like to get it as a gift but I think she would mostly want to put the stuff in the freezer!
I had to call home, he says it says fridge or short term freezer use on the box.

You can buy Ziploc Bags they are the same $3 a box You can get both gallon & quart at Target Walmart ETC- They are the exact same bags- Actually I think they work better!!!!

I have had to keep refreshing and I am not getting anywhere. I decided to call them and they told me the code was expired. They have the product in stock but the code won’t work. Very confusing since some of you have gotten it today. I have been trying for over 1/2 hour. Oh well, I think I’ll keep just in case I may be lucky enough.
I figured it out. I cleared my cart. Then I created an account. Once I did that the code worked fine, I was able to order 2 no problem very quickly. So if you don’t have an account with them yet, create one first so the code will work. I don’t know why the customer service person said the code was not working. Makes me happy though. 2 Christmas gifts checked off my list!

i did not create an account either and was therefore not updated on order status – keep the order confirmation # you got at the end, you can look it up that way. it took almost two weeks from the date i placed the order until i received it. i hope you like yours as much as i like mine!!

Just got one! Totally my mistake and bad eyesight. The cvv number I was entering are the only 4 numbers still visible on the back of my card. I clicked into what is a cvv number and it showed there should only be 3 unless it’s on the front of the card, I just figured the card I was using had 4 for some reason. Anyways, after reading there should only be 3 on the back, no matter the card, I moved the card around in the light and noticed the 3 numbers I needed that can now only be seen if the card is held just right.

Check your FoodSaver account for possible BACKORDERS, and check your credit account to make sure you were ONLY CHARGED FOR WHAT YOU ORDERED.
I had bought 2 of these the last time the deal was on. Then I got to thinking it was not such a great idea for my friends for Christmas after all…not made like the expensive, premium units and cheap plastic tubing that can collapse.
So when the UPS man arrived with my box I refused shipment and guess what the guy told me?
He laughed and said you know you’re the 4th person on my route today to refuse a pkg from this Company! I live in Atlanta…looks like I wasn’t the only one. I’m focusing on more personal fun gifts for friends and family-even gift cards.

I just checked on my ordered and status is CANCELED, but my account still has the charge. I called customer service and she told me ALL orders had been canceled because they did not have any in stock. Did anyone get their order canceled? I was bummed! 🙁

whoever your bank is you can call them and refute the charges.. banks have a lot of heft. My debit/credit card is through a credit union but is also through Visa.
