   Just beware that the color shown is not the color described… Kiwi is green, not blue. Search Kiwi Le Creuset on Amazon to see the correct color, not sure which one they would ship???

  You are correct. Kiwi is definitely not cobalt blue like the pic. In the reviews, people said they received the kiwi.

   I hate it when Amazon does false inflation. You can buy this same one from Le Creuset for $60, not $80. still saves a little tho. Read reviews that they are sometimes damaged ( lids don’t fit right, pokey edges…)

    this is also the enamelcoated steel, no the enamel coated cast iron they are so famous for… the 6qt enamel coated dish is selling for about 275 right now on Amazon, so if you want the better quality you won’t get it with this version of le creuset. My hubby is a chef and he swears by their enamel coated cast iron cookware.

  I agree. They are heirloom pieces. I allow myself a splurge of one piece a year. Love, love, love the enamel coated cast iron pots.
