Anonymous above is right…I tried to use it on the Bumblebee and Optimus and the register said it was not valid for those items. I had to buy the $19.99 set.

I think so. I signed up and it wanted me to follow a link on my phone, and then my phone said I would be charged for following the link since I don’t have a data plan.

Yes you do. Before I didn’t have it and they didn’t work and now I do have internet and it sends me right to the website where the bar code is for them to scan it. HTH.

No, you don’t have to have a smartphone with internet to receive Tareget mobile coupons!! I don’t have a smartphone or internet on my cell phone. I get a link address to the mobile coupon to my prepaid cell phone. I type the link on my computer to get the mobile coupon, then I print the coupons.

The one online is a different coupon, the mobile coupon is on ANY Prime Bumblebee or Megatron. So I am pretty sure it is valid on the toy pictured! Hope you get your mobile coupons soon so you can score this deal!
This same coupon is in the toy book. But apparently those that got it they pushed it through.
Just wanted to clarify that the mobile coupon is not the same as the one in the toy book. Toy book is only for Optimus while mobile is for Optimus, Bumblebee, or Megatron. We used them on the larger sets…got Bumblebee and the large Optimus sets. Used the toy book coupon for Optimus, mobile for Bumblebee, and a $5 off $20 purchase.

Just tris to use it for the above pictured and did not work in Norman, OK. The coupon is for the bigger sets even though they are not specified on the mobile coupon! I was hoping for an inexpensive gift for my nephew!

I never signed up for the mobile coupons because I thought it would be a hassle but decided to give it a try.
Wow! It was so easy and you get a whole list of coupons. I did this at home so my wifi was used, not my data plan. And I bookmarked the coupon page so it is ready when I go shopping. And the best part is that this program works on my cheapo android phone, the Huwei Comet for t-mobile. When I come across saving apps they inevitably do not work on my phone.
Question, I signed up and got a text message showing the link but my phone couldn’t connect. I went to the computer and typed in the address given and the coupons popped up. If I print out the page (has a barcode) will this work? Anyone know? Thanks so much!

There should be one barcode at the top of the page you print.
THey scan one for all of the coupons on the mobile. You could also bring up the site on your phone while over wifi, and leave it up and it should be up once you get to Target. It just needs internet to pull it up, not to scan it.

Just got one but it did not take the moble coupon. When I went to coustomer service the gave me the $5 dollars back in cash but the lady told me it should only be on the bigger sets like on the coupon picture. She was still nice enough to let me have the deal.

they just scan the barcode from your phone. hth
If the screen on your phone is small & won’t enlarge the barcode, you may have to read the numbers under the barcode to the cashier, in which case, you might want to bring reading glasses if very small print is an issue for you.
If you sent away for the Transformer rebate, it includes a $5 off any transformer purchase of $5 or more that you can stack with the mobile to make this free.

We just used it. I was able to get one each of the Bumble Bee and Optimus. Total was 5.61, it was 10.80 in savings! The cashier (a young man) was real cool , at first it didn’t register when he scanned the barcode for the coupon and he just did an over ride. I didn’t even have to do them as two separate purchases. I feel very blessed to have found this site less than a week ago. Already I have used over 20 of the tips or coupons!
how did you get two items? This coupon is for one time use only, meaning you cannot use it more than once! I have Target mobile coupons but most of the time have troubles when they do not scan. I am not sure if it is a type of the phone I have or its screen is too small or what.
I thought so too and assumed I would have to use the code separate for me and my husband but the cashier said no biggie and just did it in one transaction, manually.
You got lucky…and he may get in trouble. They are cracking down as it is only one per purchase. And it is only for the larger $20+ sets.

This is an unrelated question if anyone has any input for me. I am looking for a wallet sized coupon holder. Does anyone have any favorite website or place I could buy one at? The ones from the food store don’t last for me, they fall apart very easy. 🙂 Thank you! 🙂
Try office supply stores such as Office Depot, Staples, etc. They have the small or medium size plastic accordian file style binders. I have had mine for a couple of years now. It works well for small amounts of coupons. Otherwise, it may break. My mom had this issue b/c of the amount of coupons she had in it. I hope this helps.

Can the target mobile coupon be used more than once? I’d like to get 2 of those at that price.
I don’t think so but I asked the cashier and he said sure and just did it. I always have good luck with the younger boy cashiers. If he would have said no I would have done a purchase and my husband would have done another. And he gave me no trouble about it being the smaller set. He just read where it said Optimus prime and bumble bee….
Target in VA Beach, VA wouldn’t put it through either they also said only available on big sets 🙁
Just tried this tonight – and when the cashier rang the mobile coupon, it didn’t take the discount off. She said it was only for the bigger set (even though it didn’t have a size restriction). 🙁

I was able to get it at the Desert Ridge Target today. It was $7.99 regularly, and the coupon wouldn’t scan, so they just manually took off $5.
The Target mobile coupons come to your cell phone in a text message that contains a link that you’ll click; once you click it you need to be able to view it in a browser (so you have to be able to access the internet on your cell). When you open the link in a browser on your cell, all the coupons come up in a list on one webpage with one of those newer square-lookin’ bar codes (sorry – SO not a technical person!) at the top. When they scan the square, it matches the mobile coupon you’re trying to use in that list to whatever you’re buying and then it marks that coupon as ‘used’ so folks are right when they’ve been saying it can only be used one time. For instance, if you bought one of these Kre-o toys and used your mobile coupon for it, you couldn’t go back another day, buy another Kre-o toy and access the coupon again. Likewise, if you bought two Kre-o toys in one transaction, this coupon would only work on one of them; it would not apply itself to both of them (ie: you’d get $5 off not $10). The mobile coupons are usually good for about a week I think, maybe a little less? I get a text with the coupons, and then a follow-up text several days later reminding me to use them because they’re about to expire. Once they expire, even if you click the link, you can’t access them anymore. You also can’t ‘stack’ a mobile coupon with a regular printed Target store coupon on one item (they’re both Target store coupons, it’s just one is on your cell, and one is printed on paper). You can stack a mobile coupon with a mfr coupon though. Sometimes the mobile coupons are the same as the Target store coupons that are available online to print, and sometimes they’re totally different. HTH!
FYI the pudding that’s 1 cent on the mobile coupons didn’t work at the register, but customer service gave me the difference

It would not ring through and the girl that was checking me out was like I cant get it to scan in if you can figure it out I will try it..And so we stepped back for a second and someone from another register came up and asked what was wrong and we told her and she was like come over here and she tried it a few times typing it in and scanning it and she finally decided to just type in the $5 off…Very thankful she walked up because the other one was not sure what to do….Glad to get this deal thank you!! 🙂
I got it in AF Utah Target. The barcode on my mobile wouldn’t scan though so I went to Customer Service after I paid full price and they handed me 5 dollars back in cash. They mentioned nothing about this only working on the larger set : )
Got this deal in Green Bay WI! Thanks, Collin. The coupon did not scan, so the clerk took $5 off manually. The coupon does not exclude particular sizes of the toy. It should work for any size!
I do not have a smart phone, so I needed to manually type in the web address on my computer. When I did that, it told me the mobile coupon was unavailable. Did I type something wrong, or has anyone had this happen before?

It worked for me today in Fenton MO. The toy is $7.99 at my Target. The bar code wouldn’t scan off my little cheap blackberry type phone. So, the clerk asked how much was the coupon for and she took the $5 off. Making it super cheap. Thanks so much for telling us about the great deal!
I was able to get two in one transaction, though the cashier just manually took off the $5 from each because my phone wouldn’t scan. I’ve never tried to use 1 mobile coupon on 2 items before but the cashier didn’t question it. I think I have used mobile coupons about 10 times total but the barcode has only scanned correctly once.
I had printed the mobil coupons at home – the bar code scanned but didn’t take anything off. I showed her the page with the coupon (and that it didn;t have any exclusions listed) and she manually put the coupon in.
Just an FYI- Target has the coolest Lego Set – its for if you get a gift card- Myself- I bought a 5 giftcard loaded on the Lego set and then used the gift card to purchase the rest of the items and I will have a cool stocking stuffer for my son =)

Target in Orlando worked, had to override as didn’t scan from Smartphone. Cashier was confused at first for which set, but none were specific on the coupon so he put it through. Great addition for the toy drive, thanks!!
I got this deal yesterday. It wasn’t on sale for $7.59, but I pulled the deal up on my phone and they gave the discounted price, also my coupons on my phone wouldn’t scan so the cashier had to input them manually, and then they said it wasn’t valid. Again I showed the cashier my phone and he input the coupon a different way. Thanks to the patient Target cashier!!! He rocked.
Worked in Oregon! It was on sale but $8.35. No sales tax though, so still a great gift for a toy drive, thank you! I have never had luck with Target scanning my cell coupons. Interesting so many others have the same issues!
I tried to use the coupon but the scanner would read my phone and then say it was an invalid card. Cashier told me I’d have to go talk to customer service–which I didn’t have time to do. lame. this would have been a great christmas gift for my son.
It wouldn’t work for me and I didn’t feel like making a big deal out of it so I told them they could keep it. Oh well!
This was such a great deal I bought three at 7.59 and was also able to use a manufacturers coupon for $5 off a KREO purchase of more than $20 with the target coupons!
