WooHoo! I have some great news for all you CVS shoppers! The Gillette cartridges/Shave Gel Extra Buck deal that I highlighted in the weekly deals is even sweeter than I thought! You see, the trial size Gillette Fusion hydra shave gel is actually working for the ECB deal, which means better than FREE shave gel! Here’s how…

*Buy Trial size Gillette Fusion Hydra Shave Gel 2.5 oz $2.37 (price will vary a little by region)
Use the $1/1 coupon found in the 10/30 PG
Pay $1.37
Get back a $2 Ecb
Final cost FREE + a $0.63 moneymaker!

good for all you CVS shoppers ๐Ÿ™‚ but I’m still stuck on who would pay $2.37 for shaving cream, let alone a trial size ๐Ÿ˜‰ lol

    • Craig

the ONLY time I think anyone “in the know” would, is when its free +! lol

    • monique

When u need purex laundry soap which is 1.99 this week and u can use ur bucks for the soap. ๐Ÿ™

      • monique

        I mean ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Carol_R

This is a great size for someone who travels & wants to take it on a plane since it qualifies for the size that you are allowed to take on a plane.

    • Ashley

I meant with out the $2 back incentive ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. carly

full size are on sale at kroger for $1 (the shaving cream doesn not say fusion but it works), also the after shave gel is .99cents use $2q gives you $1 overage.

    • mommascott

My Kroger won’t accept any coupons that have an overage : (

  3. mistercheap

what is the limit on this deal please? thanks

    • Russ

      Limit is 1.

  4. Craig

Yay! So glad I didn’t go yet. Now if there was only other items I needed from CVS this week. Back to the list to double check. lol

  5. Melissa

My CVS ad says it has to be 7 oz or more. So i’m guessing trial is excluded : (

    • Angela

Mine said 7 OZ + as well, but when I got to the store, they had it tagged for $2 ECB right next to all the full size ones (same as photo) and it rang up that way as well.

      • Ellen

my cvs didn’t have tag at all for trial size but I went to the register and it worked!

    • Sheri

My CVS ad said the same thing, but the smaller size had its own shelf tag in the store with the ECB deal listed for that size. The deal worked just fine.

    • melissa

Every.single.time. they run this particular Gillette deal, the trial size is included (even tagged as above at my store) Same thing with the Crest Complete w/Scope. There is a “airline friendly” size (can’t recall the price off hand… $2.xx)), but it also generates the $2 ECB whenever the ad says Crest double-packs! Combine with the $2 coupon from a few months ago and its a MM!

  6. Pat

Were these found in the trail size aisle or with all the other shaving products?

    • Debbie

I found it right next to the normal size shaving creams at my CVS.

    • Angela

same here -normal shaving products area.

  7. Ana

Worked great even though I don’t use shaving cream. It was 2.19 so I made 81c. Also bought fusion cartridges colgate dove deodorant etc worth 21.5, paid 3.50 oil and got 3.5 in ECB. Love Cvs! My cashier was very complementary also which is great!

    • Bluemomrose

Yes worked out fine just did it

  8. Jessica

our local CVS was just held up at gunpoint…Think I’ll pass tonight

    • Tracie

      Yikes!

    • Ashley

๐Ÿ™ thats scary! but I’d have to say I’d laugh if all they had was $20 in the register and a TON of coupons ๐Ÿ˜‰ *It wouldn’t be a great idea to rob a drugstore-well if everyone shopped like us LOL*

      • Ana

That is hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh!

    • Penny

Do you live in L’burg TN if so that was my store too. Armed Robbery with a vehicle pursuit and police car and suspect car wrecked with two in the hospital including the police officer!!!!!! Never have seen anything like it in my life!!!!

  9. gayandnice

I like it when I can use my free gift card to pay the 1,37 after the 1,00 coupon and get the 2.00 ECB.

Plus my CVS was just marking down halloween to 90%, not the candy the (still at 50% I bought most of the table at 90% off and paid like 7.00.

  10. Alea

Kroger doesn’t give overage on coupons.

  11. Roxy

Just got the shaving gel deal. The machine is also printing the following coupons:
    – 3 off Tums 60ct or larger (they are on sale 2 for $7.48, use 2 $1 coupon from Red Plum or their website, to get 2 for $2.48)
    – 1 off any Kudos bar
    – 1 off Crystal Light, Country Time or Kool Aid 10 ct or 8 qt
    – 1 off 2 packages of Eclipse gum
    – 2 off any 2 bags of Combos
Are there any other coupons that would make a good deal with the above coupons?

  12. Pam

    Got it! Thx!

  13. Sue Jones

Not in our Tampa, FL coupons. Must be regional ๐Ÿ™

  14. Diana

In my store this was $2.19 and I used $1 coupon. Paid $1.19 and got back 2 ECB with the product ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. katty

    Did anyone tried in MI?

    • Laura

Yes, worked for me this morning in MI!

  16. Katrina

How can your total after you get back your register rewards come off the total? i mean if you think about it your going to be using๏ปฟ your register rewards in some other transaction so it shouldnt count on both right? if i am missing something here please tell me but come on your total is what you pay out of pocket not -‘s the rr from oop

    • melissa

yes, you do use your ECB on the next purchase (and thats how I account mine)… however you are turning YOUR cash on this initial purchase into an ECB, that’s why its a MM (but it might not be .63 b/c I also account for tax.)

  17. Moe

    Thx Collin! I purchased this today @ $2.37 minus $1 mfg. coupon minus $1 ecb= paid .37cents + .10 cents tax = .47 cents oop and got back $2 ecb! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. couponjenn

I’m looking at the b2 get 1 free zone perfect, balance, or clif bars. If you use your BOGO free coupons how would that work. I have worked it out like this: You buy 2 so you would get 2 free and then you get your 3rd free one from the store sale, so you would get 5 bars for the price of 2. Does anyone know if I’m right? Has anyone ever used a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale?

    • Mellissa

Sounds like you would get two free and really only paying for 1

  19. mommascott

    Does Target give overages?

  20. wendyphillips

the nivea coupin link seems to be broke

  21. wendyphillips

    oops..coupon
