UPDATE: If the Post Great Grains coupon listed below states out of prints, head on over to the Target coupon site and you should spot a $1/1 Post Great Grains manufacturer’s coupon! (Thanks, Jenna!)

WooHoo! If you are a fan of Post Great Grains cereal, you are gonna LOVE this Walgreens deal…

Buy 4 boxes of Post Great Grains Cereal on sale 2/$5
Use 4 $1/1 coupons found here (will need access to multiple computers)
Pay $6
Get back a $3 Register Reward (for buying 4 boxes)
Final cost only $3 for 4 boxes – just $0.75 per box!

Important Note: The Post Great Grains cereals may not be marked on sale. In fact, they may be marked as high as $5.29 (for 1 box!), so make sure to do a price check. Also, if you are not able to print 4 $1/1 Post Great Grains coupons (or if your store has low stock), then you can also mix and match other Post cereals that are also participating in the Register Reward deal… Fruity Pebbles, Honey Comb, Shredded Wheat and/or Grape Nuts. And if you purchase these Post cereals, you can use the $1/2 Post cereal coupon found in the 11/6 SS. So you could instead do a scenario like this…

Buy 2 boxes of Post Great Grains Cereal on sale 2/$5
Buy 2 boxes of Fruity Pebbles, Honey Comb, Shredded Wheat or Grape Nuts 2/$5
Total = $10
Use 2 $1/1 Post Great Grains coupons found here
Plus, use the $1/2 Post cereal coupon found in the 11/6 SS
Pay $7
Get back a $3 Register Reward (for buying 4 boxes)
Final cost only $4 for 4 boxes – just $1 per box!

My stock up price for cereal is around $1 or less. And lately it’s been hard to find great bargains on cereal, so I am definitely going to take advantage of this deal!

(Thanks, Wild for Wags!)

I was only able to print 1 from that site. And when I first went to it, it showed a $4off Hanes coupon but once I signed up that puppy was not shown. Uuugh lol.

    • jo

the only hanes deal i see is a $4 “register reward”

in future savings when you buy two or more packages of Hanes® Men’s Underwear or Undershirts

Offer available exclusively at participating Kmart stores.
Coupon will print at register upon completion of purchase requirement. expires 11/19

      .

      • tomcatnavywife

Go to the categories tab and the ‘breakfast’ option will be there, click on that, the coupon is down at the bottom, not the coupon that states $4/off =D

      • Craig

Thats funny its now back. Weird. Not liking that site. Trying to 86 the account. Waiting word. Pretty sure all our Kmart’s are also 86’d. LOL

@tomcatwife, yeah, this is about the Hane’s deal silly. :p

  2. mackyjane

It only allowed me to print off 1 coupon as well.

    • Melissa

Same here, and the Target.com coupon wouldnt print at all, guess unless you have 4 computers this deal is just a decent price rather than super sweet.

  3. Jackie

I’m not finding a Post coupon, just a yourbucks offer that says “Buy POST Cereal and POST Pebbles Treats and save up to $4 on a future order with coupon.” Where are you finding the $1/1 coupon?

    • tomcatnavywife

Go to the catagories tab and the ‘breakfast’ option will be there, click on that, the coupon is down at the bottom, not the coupon that states $4/off =D

      • Jackie

        Thank you! 🙂

  4. Ann

    Got one.

  5. Stormy

It is telling me that the coupon has reached its’ max. print limit. I was unable to print any of the $1 off coupons. Bummer!

    • Anne

      Same here.

  6. Kat

In the November Allyou there is a $1.50/1 post marshmallow pebbles- nice q to add to this deal if wags carries this cereal 🙂

  7. Elizabeth

Has anyone noticed a change in what’s printed on RR? I was in my WAGs last Sunday & did the blistex deal (I think it was $1.99 get $2 RR back). Well, I always take my RRs to the Commissary to redeem, but last week that $2 RR had redeemable ONLY at Walgreens printed on it. Was this a fluke or is this how they’re printed now?

    • katy

I noticed that too. It seems most RRs have “redeemable only at walgreens” on them now. However, Proctor and Gamble RRs don’t.

      • Annette

Mine show that too (I didn’t notice it until you wrote it) but I did use them at Meijer without a problem…

      • Elizabeth

Oh, that really stinks! I’ll probably cut back on my shopping at Walgreens then.

    • Amanda M

You could previously use Register Rewards at your local commissary?? I have never heard of this!

      • Elizabeth

Yep, you can take any Manufacture coupon to the Commisary from any store as long as it doesn’t have the word ‘only’ on it. Ex. Redeemable only at walgreens vs. redeemable at walgreens

        • Erica

My commissary doesn’t take them because they say the store name on it. Even though it doesn’t say “only”, they still won’t take them. Sometimes it’s a big bummer.

      • Sherry

You can use RRs at Jewel here in IN and IL. It’s a great way to get the grocery bill down.

  8. stacy

    only one..boo

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was only able to print one as well… 🙁

  10. Lindsay

Bummer this has not reset. I already used mine. We could really use some too. Boo…

  11. Lisa

I could only print 1 as well.

  12. Lisa

Only one print here as well.

  13. Eve

    Only 1:(

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Says print limit has been reached for me. 🙁

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Says print limit has been reached for me. 🙁

  16. Jenna

There’s still hope…Target has this manufacturer coupon on their site under “grocery”: $1 off when you buy ONE box of POST GREAT GRAINS cereal.

    https://coupons.target.com/grocery-coupons?

Hope you guys can get in on this deal! Thanks Collin!

    • Collin

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up on this, Jenna! I just updated the post with this coupon link. Yay for cheap cereal! 🙂

      • Jenna

No problem! Glad I could help, especially since you help so many of us ALL the time!

    • anu

It says the coupons are printed when I tried to take a p/o.

    • Arnela

Target uses the same ‘Catalina’ coupon print service – so that’s why we cant print multiple qs 🙁

  17. Alisha

Collin, you mentioned “stock up”‘ price for cereal. I would love to hear your “stock up” prices for other common items. I sometimes look at a deal and think..well that looks pretty good, only to find it cheaper next week (after I already stocked up!)

    • Ashley57

That would be a great post…is there one anywhere? I keep hearing the stock-up price for cereal is $1, but what about everything else?

      • Molly

Crystal at Moneysavingmom.com has one. Her’s is even customizeable so you can change and enter your own numbers.

  18. Kristen

It won’t let me print the Target one and I know I haven’t printed it before. It’s a bummer because this is my favorite cereal.

    • Jenna

      Same for me 🙁

  19. Lindsay

I tried the Target link to, and it says already printed. And I know I have not printed it. Bummer.

  20. anna

Target says Print limit reached. And I haven’t printed one.

  21. Ca

    are all the target.com coupons, manufacturer’s coupon…..
    or just certain ones?

    • jo

most are target only coupons but some are manufacturer

  22. rose

I went to Walgreens earlier to take advantage of this great deal but the $3 register reward did not print up. I told the cashier of the issue. She looked up the post cereal deal and said she could not find a rr for post cereals. The current flyer doesn’t show the rr. Help?

    • MP

That’s weird I purchased 4 boxes or cereal.
I got 2 of the great grained and 1 fruity pebbles and 1 coco pebbles
I used the $1/2 post ceareals coupon and 2 of the 1/1 great grains coupon
I paid $7 and got back 3 so $1 per box!!!!!!!!!!!
      And the catalina printed

  23. gil

I bought 4 boxes Great Grains at RA this morning
They were 2 /$5. get back $2. Up.
    Bought 4 boxes & used 4-$1. Q’s
paid with my ups &used they were .50 cents a box.

  24. Brianna S

There are also some non traditional coupons that might be floating out there. I have a target manufacturer catalina for 1.50/1 box of great grains and another MQ I got on the back of a sample box from old navy for 1.25/1

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My flyer doesn’t say anything about a RR. Is this a monthly one? How do you know a RR is supposed to print?

  26. Jennifer

I was able to do the deal. Since I could only print one coupon per computer (I have 2 computers) I had to find 2 other people that would let me have theirs..so off to my moms I went then to a friends; they think i’m nuts to spend the money on gas running around town for coupons but I clocked it and it was about 10 miles round trip I used less. Than a tank of gas got 4 boxes of cereal and milk (with my rr) I thought that was a good deal!

  27. Kelsey

Kind of on subject/ but a little off, my wags told me I can’t use RR for dairy. Is that true??

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What is going on with Target web page it’s so slow?

    • Ca

I know, ever since they changed their site, I have had that same problem.

      • Ruth

Thanks for posting this. I thought something was wrong with my computer. I have read that some folks use firefox when dealing with the Target site, but I don’t know how to switch to this.

  29. Ca

    thankyou.
is there a way to know which coupons are manufacturer’s coupons and which are Target-only coupons prior to printing?

    • Ruth

Yes. On the totallytarget.com site under coupons, she identifies which are Target coupons and which are manufacturer’s coupons.

  30. shanshan

Just bought 5 Great Grains. $2.79+$2.21+2.50+2.50+2.50=12.50. Minus 5 $1/1 coupon (yes I got 5 computers)=7.50 out of pocket. Got 4 RR back, so work out to be $0.70 each.

If you buy 4 box you’ll get $3 RR instead.

  31. hotcouponmama

My walgreens ony had the Great Grains: date, raisin and wanut favor. Yikes. I am aergic to wanut. Can’t go near it without throat closing and possiby dying.
So I took my 2 coupons to Rite Aid and got 2 different favors and paid $1 a piece. However, I did stuck up on Fruity pebbes for my son and honey bunches of oats for my husband, ast month when they had the sae going.
I don’t have to buy cerea for them for the next 3-4 months or so (I think, but you never know with teenagers going through puperty)

Thanks fto the person who gave us the Rite Aid tip.

    • hotcouponmama

lol lol, my keyboard decided to skip the “L”. hahahaha

  32. Meg

Collin….I saw you wrote that your “stock-up price” on cereal is around $1…do you have a list of these “stock-up prices” anywhere on your website? I don’t always know the difference in a good deal and a REALLY good deal 🙂 Thank you!!
