does anybody know how much the prescritption lenses are?? the regular glasses i have now are from Sears. I get them when they have them for $49.99. 😉

I went and got a pair like the ones on the left on your picture… I was so happy with my new sunglasses as I was walking to my car and then I accidentally dropped and stepped on them… my heart crushed too 🙁

I went to my Columbus, OH area Sears Optical this evening, and got my free pair of sun-glasses – so excited!! The price tag on them said $99! Amazing deal : ) There were only 6 pairs left though, so my Sears Optical must not have had as many pairs as the other Sears stores. Thanks for the post, Collin!

Very good idea! I need to be like you and be more generous. I did get a pair and they are okay but then I went to another sears and they had a pair I liked better. I wanted to exchange them but they can’t. I think I will just donate them!!!

Mandi…the Sears location I went to had been getting tons of calls about these. And another Sears in the area ran out and was referring people there…that being said I think they are only giving away what they have left on hand. I would just call before you go to make sure!

I went to sears today after checking online timings n they were closed at 6pm:(. Hopefully they have a few left tomo. Are men’s sunglasses included?

I got mine today after work! I pretended I didn’t wear prescription lenses because I didn’t want a sales pitch – but I do need them to drive… I will just keep these for when I’m not driving! 🙂

They have them starting at $49 and I usually manage to get a coupon code for $10-15 off (once I got really lucky and snagged a 50% off!). you have to print, the sales lady on phone said she was upset cuz she had it on her iphone, and no good they need the physical print. I think its interesting that the employees where doing it, I’m not sure how I feel about that being its bringing me in to spend money 🙁 but I guess this also started weeks ago.

It prints with your name on it. Sales rep said have to show ID, not sure though if really have to.

I wish you had stated that you had to be at a computer with a printer when you signed up bc I was not using a computer that I can print from, and I was not able to print it and it was not emailed to me. Just food for thought when you are posting in the future:)

I was able to get mine. this was a great deal but i wish my store had mens, I would have like give them to hubby for christmas.
My best friend and I got ours this morning. The girl thought we were going to have to pay the 6.99 sales tax, but after some phone calls she said NO. We did however have to give our driver licenses and she put this (our names, addresses) in the computer and asked our phone numbers. Did anyone else have to do this too? Either way FREE sunglasses. I really needed sunglasses and FREE can not be beat. They are nice looking on me, but do not look like 99 $ sunglasses
I went this morning (10am) and they wouldn’t redeem the coupon. They said all Sears got an email saying that they are no longer allowed to take these coupons. I asked to speak to a manager but was told that “she was off today” and I could call her tomorrow?!

Hummm thats odd because I called 3 separate locations and all 3 said that every sears optical store were honoring the coupon. (I called at about 1pm today)
I would talk to a manager..THAT IS NOT TRUE. The email stated the coupon was over because it was going on for a while people just rushed to print because of word getting spread. My location just said all are gone at every location. Still made apt for 2 people for glasses and contacts. Called diff location today said they have them and make sure I bring my coupon
I called my store who said they were doing the deal but now they are all out (Melbourne, Fl for anyone in this area). I would call ahead before you make too big a trip.
Ashley-I got mine at Vero Beach this morning and they had about 16 pairs left to choose from.
This couldnt have came at a better time. Last week i put on my sunglasses and they broke luckily closed my eyes and it left a line on my eye lid. Then had an extra pair (husbands), put those on and they broke the same way lol. I was super stoked for these sunglasses. I felt like doing a giddy dorky dance on my way out of the mall. Cant beat free! I had to give out my address though. Im thinking maybe for them to send stuff in the mail like flyers etc. Im hoping i dont get billed in the end. Thank You Collin!!! This made my day!! Wish I couldve gotten a second pair for the hubster! I guess I’ll have to foot the bill for his pair lol
