Woo Hoo! If you are a fan of The Children’s Place and/or plan to purchase Christmas gifts at The Children’s Place, then you’ll definitely want to take advantage of this great e-card offer! Through December 31st, for every $40 worth of eGift Cards purchased, you will receive a FREE $10 eGift Card. Keep in mind that you will receive one eGift Card based on your total purchase, so if you buy $80 worth of eGift Cards, you will receive a FREE $20 eGift Card or if you purchase $480 worth of eGift Cards, you will receive a FREE $120 eGift card!!
You can even personalize the gift cards with a message or special photo and choose the delivery date. Let us know if you buy one as a gift or keep it for yourself. 🙂
Check out the email that I received from reader, Penny, detailing how she made use of this eGift card promo…
The Children’s Place currently has a deal on e-gift cards, for every $40 e-gift card you buy, you get a $10 e-gift card free! Today, there is also a sale 20% off $40 or more with web code: D6F2011 or 25% off $50 or more with web code: C6F2011. And if you spend $75, you get free shipping and handling and a free monkey stuffed animal. I bought an $80 e-gift card….and I received an additional $20 e-gift card ($10 for every $40).
So, buy $100 worth of merchandise, then enter the 25% off code, dropping it to $75. You will get the free monkey and free shipping. Then enter the $20 e-gift card (which was free) dropping you total to $55. Then use the $80 e-gift card and you will still have $25 left on the card! For me, it was a little less because of taxes.
I bought 2 3-in-1 toddle jackets originally $59.95, marked down to $41.96, after 25% off $31.47 each. And 2 striped fleece hoodies originally $12.95, marked down to $10.00, after 25% off $7.50 each. And received a free monkey!
My total with taxes was $84.18, minus the free $20 e-gift card, $64.18. I then used the $80 e-gift card I purchased and I still have $15.82 remaining!
I love this offer Collin, and I have always wanted to do the $500 purchase and get the free $120 for my kids for a year or so of clothes. Does anyone know how long these e-gift cards are good for?
Hi Amber!
I just read through the E-Gift Card FAQs and it states that they do not expire. Yeah! 😀
YAY!! Thanks so much for all you do! 🙂
In California, gift cards do not expire, but this could be different in other states. However, the free extra promo gift card usually has a short expiration date of a month or so. It appears that this one may expire 12/31 but I am not sure.
Remember to go in through Ebates (2.5%) or Shop at Home and get $$ back.
Cash back doesn’t work on gift cards at Shop at Home, right?
I just don’t see this as that great of a deal. That is just my opinion anyway. I can get really nice winter coats at the clearance sales for $10 to be used the following year. I know there is more than winter coats but she still had to spend $80 oop.
I don’t understand what you are saying? The deal is “buy $40 e-GC, get $10 e-GC free”. They are gift certificates and do NOT expire. So, it’s basically you are getting GC 25% off and since they are GC, you can stack with coupons. That sounds like a great deal to me!
She needed them at this time but she could have waited a few weeks until they came down further, but then she ran the risk of sizing. The cards won’t expire….she can even use them in the middle of summer if she wanted! Awesome deal, in stores too!
does anyone know if children’s place has good onine deals for black friday or cyber monday? couldn’t you buy the gift cards now and use them on that day to get more bang for your buck?
I have bought $120 in gift cards and have gotten the bonus $30 for the past 2 years that they have been doing this promotion. It is such a good deal! I save them and wait until I see free shipping and promo code deals ands then I buy clothes throughout the year.
I love the Children’s Place so, I’m gonna buy some gift cards to use throughout the year…such a great idea!
Can the e-gift card be used in the store or just online? I know I’ll be at the Children’s Place on black friday since it’s the only store that comes close to fitting my 6 year old twig of a child.
Under the eCard FAQs, it states that the eCards do not expire and can be used online or in-store.
