      It’s up! Purchase finally went through after having to refresh every time something was added to my cart. A lot of things I was going to get were no longer available but instead of chancing it to wait to see if they would re-stock before Wed. I just got other items.     After struggling with the site for hours, I have finally gotten it to work. First, I created a new account using safari, because items kept disappearing in firefox and then reappearing when I added them and went to check out, doubling the order. When I tried to correct this issue, it just deleted everything from my cart. Thus, the cycle continued.

    Anyway, after creating a new account using safari, I added my credit card info. Then selected all of the items, added the voucher code, and checked out. It was slow, but it went through. Good luck everyone!

    PS I probably would have given up if my daughter hadn’t been asking for a Trunki & saddlebag for so long.

    Spent over sn hour shopping reloaded my bag when item disappeared all for nothing. I could not get the checkout pg to load!!! SO FRUSTRATED! Maybe I’ll tried at 4 am when things are quite.

    Well, o-KAY… I tried all the methods suggested (registered, saved a card, multiple cart tabs) and the site managed to empty my cart every single time. I finally went to the FB page and found an email address where people are apparently emailing their orders in. I sent mine and hopefully I’ll hear something back!

    I have tried at different times in different browsers after registering and storing credit card info…after LONG waits each time I put in the plum district code and it takes it off the total….THEN NOTHING….sigh. SO disappointed. More and more things are out of stock. I just emailed them. We’ll see…..

    My order just went through! I just added all the items into my cart, and then patiently clicked “checkout” over and over until I finally got to the checkout page. Once there, it all went perfectly! I ordered a $90 diaper bag and 2 puzzles for only $23 out of pocket! I am thrilled and impressed by the customer service of this company.     An important update from ecomom

    1. If you are reading this, you know that we are having technical difficulties with the website. This is a result of extremely high traffic due to our sale. Even adding another 25 servers yesterday (increasing capacity another 5x), it still does not appear to be enough to handle our visitors.

    2. Our tech team thought we could address the problem while at the same time allowing people to come in and make purchases — some have been able to do this, some have not. We have in fact, received more orders than at any other time in our history. However, allowing the traffic to continue while at the same time trying to fix the problem is compounding the problem.

    3. If you are concerned that you won’t be able to get the items you wanted because they have gone out of stock, we are restocking everything we can and have already started placing orders with vendors to do so. Items that are no longer available from the vendor would not have been available once they sold out so we won’t be able to restock any of those items. That said, we don’t know if this will be the case or not until we contact the vendors on their first business day, which is tomorrow.

    4. We have extended the sale through Wednesday at midnight, which should give us give us time to completely fix the problems, give everyone ample time to place their orders, restock the site, and respond to email orders.

    5. If you attempted to place an order on the site and had difficulty, rest assured that we will take care of this for you. Your voucher remains valid and our team will assist you with your order.

    6. If you are concerned that your order will not ship in time for the holidays, we believe this will not be a problem as we have several weeks before shipping by Christmas becomes an issue and we don’t anticipate this taking much longer to solve.

    7. We are receiving all of your emails but can’t respond to each one individually as fast as we’d like. But we will respond to them all and please know that you are not being ignored.

    This is obviously not what anyone wants to hear after spending their time trying to place an order — something you should reasonably expect to be able to do from a website that you have either used previously or are just using for the first time. It’s certainly not what we expect of ourselves. But I believe in being transparent in terms of what is going on, just as we have been since we began experiencing this problem on Friday.

    Our team is working through all of the emails, the site issues, reordering, and shipping orders as they come in. We will get this solved for you as quickly as humanly possible and will make good on the promise that we’ve always made — which is that we will take care of you and your order. We always do and we won’t stop until you are satisfied.

    I want to thank you in advance for your time, patience, understanding, and patronage. I know it is frustrating right this minute so that probably doesn’t do much to ease the sting of having spent hours trying to purchase from us. The offers from this weekend are incredibly compelling — which is why so many of you have jumped to purchase from us. You WILL still be able to receive the offer we created but I ask that you give us a little time in which to fix the situation so that you can resume your shopping with us.

    In a couple days, when I do get to place an order, this will be my first experience with EcoMom, but it definitely seems like the type of business that I will want to frequent.

    I tried twice last night and couldn’t get through so I sent them an e-mail as they suggested online. I was friendly in my e-mail and sure enough…being nice goes a long way. I just got a phone call from ecomom and they were extremely friendly and apologetic explaining they are doing everything they can. They said they’ll be live (if not already) in a minute and will only allow about 150 people in at a time. Sooo…maybe try to send them an e-mail…a nice e-mail. In my e-mail I copy and pasted the name of item and item number. I just got an e-mail confirming my order. Good luck!

    Okay, I am incredible impressed with this company!! I emailed the CEO yesterday and explained that I was unable to check out after several hours of trying. HE called me this morning!!! I couldn’t believe it when I answered the phone, and he told me who he was!! He said he has been calling customers all morning, and that their entire company has been running on little to no sleep to get everyone’s orders right. He talked to me for 12 minutes about how grateful he was for the amazing customers he has spoken with, as well as some really horrid ones who were threatening to sue his company. I assured him that most of us are super nice and supportive. He took my order over the phone, and I received a confirmation in my email. That is the most amazing customer service experience I have EVER had! πŸ™‚

    I just now placed my order at ecomom after trying since 6:00 last night! There’s a message on the checkout page that tells you what to do if the items in your cart disappear. It works! I scored the voucher for $10.00 since I was a new sign up and I was able to get this for NO extra out of pocket cost: Melissa & Doug ice cream parlor set for 30.00, Melissa and Doug Cookie Making kit for 20.00, and the Melissa & Doug Sushi set for 20.00. My cart total was 69.99, they took off 20.00 for the black friday special, so after the voucher my total was FREE! No shipping charge and no tax charge! I can’t believe I got THREE Melissa and Doug sets for $10.00! Thanks for the heads up on this deal Colin!!!

    I finally was able to place my order! The latches board I wanted was out of stock, so I had to find something else. I got the haba suitcase, spanish puzzle, 2 house puzzles with the knobs, the bead maze, and some toy where you hit the balls with a little mallet (lol cant remember what its called) But I spent $23 for $102 worth of stuff! I couldnt log into my account it just kept going back to the home page. So I clicked “forgot password” to see if that would change anything. My new password was not sent, so I couldnt log back into my account. I made a new one, added the address and card info like everyone else has been saying. I also opened up multiple tabs. I went to go checkout, and it said my shopping cart was empty! So I tried another tab, empty too! πŸ™ Then I clicked on the 3rd tab, and it let me checkout! THANK GOD! Hope any of this info might help!

    I finally got my order in. I kept one window open and just waited for items to show in the cart one by one. Once its in the cart I click continue shopping and add from there. last night my total was showing no tax but now it is showing tax I didn’t mind that anymore I just went ahead and placed the order.

    Lastnight I was opening multiple windows but today I just kept it at one window it gives the browser or their server time to refresh accordingly. I’m so happy. Spent $24.00 ($10 purchase of the voucher and $14.00 from ecomom) for $104 worth of stuff. Off to bed now

I was looking for a referral link from hip2save or any blogger I couldn’t find it. Would have been an added awesome deal if I had gotten that $10 credit. Did anyone get a $10 credit for being a new member. I’m a new member and I didn’t get $10 credit.

    I called Ecomom this morning and spoke with customer service to place my order. The gentleman that I spoke with was extremely kind. He was able to place the order over the phone and made sure all the discounts went through. He also said that if you have the items in your cart and are logged in when you call them they can access the items and place the order making it really easy. Overall, I am super impressed with the level of customer service I received from them!

      I agree. I STILL haven’t been able to buy anything! I’ve spent hours on this website and when I was finally able to get to the check out page it said it accepted my voucher but wanted to charge my credit card $50 more than it should. Now every single thing I wanted is sold out. I plan to call them tomorrow and try to secure their $40 off $100 deal beyond Wednesday (until they restock) or am going to ask for a refund from Plum. I would have never purchased 2 deals if they weren’t offering the extra incentive. Wish this would have worked out.

    Be sure to enter your Plum District voucher number before you hit checkout (scroll down and enter it in the promo code box, not the gift card box) or you’ll reach the payment portion and then it will bring you back to your shopping cart when you click to enter a gift card, and it won’t save your shipping/billing info so you’ll have to enter it again. πŸ™‚

    wow. did anybody check their website tonight? everything is out of stock. I thought we were supposed to be patient and they were going to contact their vendors and restock on Monday. well, I see where my patience got me! i should have been down their throats w/ emails and phone calls like so many others. something about the squeeky wheel getting the oil, I suppose. Well, despite having an account, apparently my cart got emptied and some stuff I’d tried to add a couple days ago went back in??? Was good fun trying to keep up with stuff going out of stock, but at least I got some nice stuff. Decided might as well do it now rather than find that more was out of stock and miss the good deal.
      The PlumDistrict deal alone is good, so if you really want something specific you could hold on to the voucher until what you’re waiting for is back in stock, that’s always an option πŸ˜€

      If you look at their Facebook page, Jody says that anyone that emails their order or leaves a message before midnight on Nov 30, they will get everything they want with the black Friday prices and sale. So I would go ahead and send an email with your order even if the items show out of stock because they are placing a lot of back orders that will ship when they are available.

    I just thought I would let you know what Ecomom said and what you can do at this point if you haven’t got your order in:

    First of all email your order to customerservice@ecomom.com of everything you want including the things that are back ordered.

    They plan on getting everything they can back in and to the customers. They do have something in place that will email you back and confirm that your email got into their system. I don’t think that was in place before, however when I emailed mine in, I did receive the email back saying that it was received. I put my Plum District voucher number on it, but no credit card. I think their plan is to go through all the emails and call people back to put the orders in manually, so be sure to put in your contact info.

    Here is what they said about your email order:
    If you haven’t heard back from us, but we have heard from you β€” meaning we’ve received an email from you at any point from the day the sale started until midnight on Wednesday the 30th, WE WILL ABSOLUTELY HONOR THE OFFER WE MADE TO YOU! You will not miss out and we are restocking our inventory so that we can handle virtually everything you were trying to purchase

    Since this is the last day of the sale and everything is pretty much out of stock, I would make sure that you email TODAY and they said they would still honor it, but it may take a few days to sift through all the emails. Hope that helps.

    I’m sure it has been a nightmare for them, but I am impressed that they are trying to accommodate us all.

But after spending considerable time this morning looking through pages of toys to put my order together, now they have shut down the site so you can’t get item numbers to put your email together for customer service. URGGGGGHHHHHHH

    I am not sure if many will even see this comment as it’s bit old, but I wanted to share my experience just in case someone else might be in the same boat. I ordered by phone, but realized later I hadn’t gotten any sort of confirmation. Their computer was messing up, and trying to give me the whole total free. They took my payment info., and said they’d put it through. But I was a bit worried since I didn’t have any confirmation. So I got ahold of someone today, and discovered my order never went through. So if you didn’t get a confirmation call and check!
