Do their clothes fit kind of like teen or early twenty’s fit?! I am 31 and am looking at the sizing chart and it seems like large is a 6-8 – does that seem pretty accurate – true to size?!

    • Rachel

      Wondering the same thing!!!!

    • Britta

I usually wear a size 8, but I’m a Medium in their sizes. I’d go by the bust measurements instead of the dress sizes.

  2. Jenn

I really, really like these clothes, and I was about to go nuts buying myself some new duds. Then, I noticed that they think a large is size 6-8. In what universe is a size 6 LARGE? As a former fat girl who remembers what it’s like to feel unwelcome in shops because I wore a size 18, this really is pretty ridiculous.

There are some fantastic deals to be had here, and I’m sad that I just can’t let myself support a company that contributes to a woman’s negative self image.

    • LC

Not so ridiculous. It could just be a shop catered to slenderer women. Especially a small boutique shop cannot be expected to make sizes alllll across the spectrum. If the biggest size they carry is an 8-10, what else could it be called besides XXL at their store? Sometimes stores cater to a smaller spectrum of sizes. People of a thinner variety will appreciate that someone caters to them just as much as at the other end. I see no negative self image they are projecting anywhere.

      • really??

I don’t know why anyone would complain…just don’t shop here. I don’t hear “skinny” people complaining about Lane Bryant’s sizes??

        • milly

          lol.

    • CiCi

I understand where you are coming from. As a former fatty myself, I think people who have had a weight problem are a little more sensitive to this then others may be. Yes it sucks that I had to order a L instead on my usual M, becuase I feel this sweater dress may run small, but that doesn’t mean I will look any less cute in it! 🙂 100lbs ago, it would have crushed my emotionally, but the new me has much more confidence!

    • Anna M

That comment is ridiculous. I have never been able to get past 100lbs even after having a child. I have people look at me and make comments about how small I am and although there are stores for larger women, the only places that carry very small sizes are expensive boutiques. I didnt choose to be thin, nor do I have much control to gain weight. But many women who are very large complain about their situation etc and can do simple things like cut portions down or stop drinking soda etc etc.

  3. me!

=( Everything that caught my eye is sold out in my size =(

  4. soldiersgirl531

I’m wondering on sizing also-You can’t return things so if I get the wrong size then its not a good deal.I never buy myself clothes& at these prices I’m tempted:-)I am barely 5 foot&about 115 lbs-small bust..thanks for the tips.

  5. Samantha

XL is an 8-10? That’s crazy! At other places, I’m normally a large but I couldn’t even wear an XL at this place. And I completely agree with Jenn!

  6. Darla VanWinkle

They do run a little small, but not that small. I order a size larger than what I normally wear and it’s fine….the skirts are shorter than I expected, but I can live with that. I love the quality and style, and with clearance prices and free shipping — fantastic!

  7. too sensitive

You ladies are just being waaaaaaay too sensitive. They obviously do their sizes in progression of 2s, which I personally prefer because that just means a better fit. But if they do their progressions in 2, and 0-2 is XS…there’s not a lot of things between XS and Large unless you start inventing terms.

Honestly, a size is a size , regardless of whether you want to call it small, medium, large, venti…

Who cares what letter size it says on the tag as long as it looks good on you? No one is going to see the tag anyway! If it really bothers you that much, cut it off or write over their size with a sharpie.

Or…just don’t buy it and leave more for the rest of us!

    • really??

I agree!! I think it is in your mind… if you pick a size 8-10 your fine with ordering that, but the second you see that it’s an XL you freak out! That’s just them labeling THEIR sizes XS-XL. It’s not like people will see the size on the clothes you are wearing. As long as you feel good about yourself nothing else should matter!

      • CiCi

I ordered a super cute sweater dress. I am closer to an 8-10 then a 6-8 so I ordered a large to accomodate my boooty! I don’t care what the size chart says, I want it to fit!

        • steph

haha CiCi..you have me laughing 🙂

  8. Alison

I’ve tried on their jackets at Nordstrom and they run the usual junior sizes – so I’m normally a M most places and a L fit better.

  9. Samantha

I’m not being sensitive. I’m happy with my curvy figure. I just find it ridiculous that in today’s society, if you’re not a size 2 or 4, you’re considered fat. I’m young and love to shop at trendy stores like this, but I’m not a size 4. That’s all I’m complaining about.

    • mini

I like your comment and it makes sense. As a “smaller” sized person I can’t tell you how mad I was when I tried on tons of cloths this past weekend only to find I couldn’t even fit the size zeros. I think it’s great there are companies that have larger sizes and then there are ones with smaller sizes!

  10. Marissa

I thought it was pretty awesome that this company gives you the option to donate 5 percent of your order to charity at the end of checkout.

  11. Sarra Hudson

I bought a bunch of scarves! Thanks!!

  12. Alison k

You can be a size 2 or 4 and still have curves. I am petite and I have curves.

  13. alia

Colin- is it too wierd to ask you what size you order? You appear to have the same frame as me. Thanks!

  14. tigger

Is anybody else having trouble checking out? It is telling me to select a UPS Delivery, which it is not giving me the option. So frustrating:( Any ideas?

  15. Jamie

Wow, what a great sale! Nothing here fits me, but it’s perfect for my secret santa gift. I am getting a really fashionable woman the bomber jacket. I think she’ll LOVE it!

  16. Stephanie

It’s truly not very different than stores like Lane Bryant only selling size 12 or 14 and above. They sell some super cute clothes I’d love to wear but can’t as a 6 ya know?

I just scored 2 scarves and a cute top for $20. Not too shabby!

  17. Hema

Sites crazy slow .. Can’t get in!

  18. Jamie

FYI-the site is running pretty slow now!

  19. Jamie

Anyone else having problems selecting the shipping method? The drop down box won’t work for me.

    • Hema

I can go through but when I say “place order” it throws an error page!

      • steph

Me too!…I was finished and was just hitting SUBMIT and it says ERROR. Hopefully it didn’t charge my card five times…because that is how many times I tried 🙂 I want that skirt!

        • Hema

Lol .. Same here about trying 5 times! At this rate my husband’s going to cancel my credit card! Lol!!

          • Hema

Ok .. I think the sites officially down! Lol .. We crashed it!

            • Jamie

              Ok ladies, it’s working now!

    • Jamie

I finaly got to end and am getting the runtime error as well. I was hoping to get the jacket before it sells out, but I think I’ll try back later.

  20. Hema

Tried to send an email via the Contact us page and I get the same error page thrown at me.

  21. RB

Regarding sizing, I don’t think it really matters what they call it as long as you get the one that fits! With the S/M/L sizing I would say go up one from normal. My sister gave me some clothes from Tulle once and I found that the large size fit best (when I usually take a medium in most brands.) Also, if you’re chesty I would go by the bust size, because that was one thing I found to run pretty small. Anyway, nice find, thanks!

  22. angelica

Cool, I just got 4 scarves. Thanks Collin! 🙂

  23. christine

I have been waiting for Tulle to have a really big sale again! I got a ton of awesome pieces last year for next to nothing! I love their clothes and they have always fit me perfectly! Thanks for posting Colin…Merry Christmas to me!

  24. Sunny

Tulle’s size chart doesn’t follow other industry standards. The bust/hip ratio is way off from any other chart I’ve ever seen. The bust measurement is consistently large for all sizes.

  25. Erin

I made my first Tulle purchase with a $10 AMEX from CVS! I’m thrilled to pay no OOP. 🙂 I love free shipping!

On the sizing issue, I think sizes have been stretched over the last few decades as Americans have been increasing in size (height included). I wear 2/4 but can’t suck myself into 2s and 4s from when my mom was my age. Maybe Tulle’s sizing is true to the sizing of earlier generations.

  26. Kelly B

I ordered early this morning before the deal was posted today. Everything worked fine for me until I got to the end and hit submit and waited (it said not to hit ANY keys) for an hour. I finally gave in and hit refresh and got the dreaded error page. I sent a message to customer service to make sure 1) the order went through and 2) that my card didn’t get charged any extra. I had a response in my inbox within 15 minutes or so saying that my order did go through. YAY! Got my sister a fabulous 3 piece birthday outfit. Thank you for posting this deal 🙂 Hope it works for everyone else too.

  27. steph

My order finally went through! So excited! I also ordered a large because I am clueless as to how small their clothes run. For me it is easier to gain weight than to lose it so hopefully I can make them fit! 🙂 🙂 🙂 (yes that last part was a joke)

  28. Tracy

Having problems with their site. Keep getting error message once I click on anything after their home page.

  29. corinn

It’s 4:06pm and I can not shop on this site at all, each time I try it says error with a bunch of computer lingo under it. None of my friends have been able to shop here either. It seems that if they were going to extend it they would make sure it was running correctly. What a disappointment!!

  30. jill b.

Thanks! Ordered a new coat for myself and pointed out a second jacket for my husband to buy – and wrap! – for me 🙂 $19 for the coat and $14 for the jacket!

  31. Jill

Very frustrating. When giving my shipping info it is telling me to “type in UPS delivery”, but won’t let me have access to any drop down choices for shipping specifics. Anybody else having this trouble? Thanks:)

  32. Jennifer McCarthy

I had some trouble getting the Cyber Monday items to load but once I did, I was able to get a sweater dress, sweater, and two hats for $29! Very excited…I’m pregnant now but hope these will fit me for next fall/winter! Thanks for the heads up on this one…these clothes are cute!

  33. trixiestreats

I have plenty of money in my bank account, but the site is declining my card (for a $4.50 purchase). Boo. Anyone else having this problem?

    • trixiestreats

I’ve also verified the security code and verified that my billing information matches my card. And yet it keeps declining my order. So frustrating. I’ve emailed customer service, but it sounds like they’re probably overwhelmed with queries. And that scarf I wanted will likely be sold out before I get a solution.

  34. Abby

Is it just because I’m shopping on my phone or is the site not responding really at all? I can look at all of the items, but it won’t let me add anything to my cart? Grrr, I want cute clothes for cheap! Lol

  35. Pandora

Thanks, Collin! My friends and I just exchanged Secret Santa names today and I found the cutest jacket for $.60 less than our price limit ($15)! The jacket is worth $80 so I am guessing I will be making someone very happy this Christmas, not to mention I asked another friend in my circle what she thought of the jacket and she started whining about how she wanted the jacket! LOL! Well, her Secret Santa is also getting her the jacket now and so it is a quadruple win.

  36. Melissa

My order shipped!! It’s expected to be here by Thursday. I can’t wait. 😀

    • Jamie

Lucky! My order confirmation page says “Due to high demand, Tulle will do its best to ship your orders within 15 business days.” And my order status still says processing. I hope it comes before Christmas! This is my Secret Santa gift for a collegue!

  37. toma

My order is still processing! I am really looking forward to receiving my goodies!

  38. Leslie

I got a shipping notice on Monday and last night I got a notice that not all my order could be filled. However, it doesn’t say what was deleted and my account online doesn’t show it either. So, obviously that didn’t ship on Monday. 🙁 This company can only be contacted through email, which I’ve done too.

  39. Lesly

Yay.. just received my stuff — 2 winter jackets (@ $20 each) and a legging. This is my first Tulle purchase and I must admit I am very very impressed with the quality and style of their clothes.. My boyfriend asked me more than once, ‘Are you sure its a $20 jacket and not $200? ‘ The jackets are THAT good!…

Thanks for all that you do Collin.
