      There should be a large button that says “Activate Membership” under the payment info. If it’s not there, refresh the page until it is. The first couple of times I got to the page, that button was not there and I thought I had to enter my cc info. Of course, now I’m getting the message that “This action is unavailable at this time, please try again later.” I guess I’ll just keep clicking that button… 🙂

      It says credit card info is optional but mine won’t go thru.
      I wonder if that’s the reason why.

      If they charge you, you can always call your credit card company and request a chargeback. I entered my info and then called them to make sure I got the free year and they verified I did. Also, I went into my acct settings to turn off auto renewal.

    Just a little warning that 2-day shipping does NOT mean that you’ll get your order in 2 days. For example, I placed a Toys R Us order on Sunday. It didn’t get delivered until Thursday night at 7:00 PM (5 days later). When I called to complain, they said that is normal and you have to also allow for “processing time” at the warehouse. I can’t really complain, as I’m only using a free trial, but if I had paid $79 for the service I’d be fuming!

    Ok I am very excited about getting the deal………but I honestly just know that we get 2 day free shipping. Do I have to log in to ShopRunner first then go to the store I want to buy from? And does that mean I can’t use ebates or shopathome for cash back.

    So, you can just send them an e-mail, then they will send you the code to get 1 yr free membership. That’s awesome b/c I don’t need to sit in front of my PC and keep hitting sumbit! I just send them my info. 🙂

    Before you get too excited…

    Just a little warning that 2-day shipping does NOT mean that you’ll get your order in 2 days.

    For example, I placed a Toys R Us order on Sunday. It didn’t get delivered until Thursday night at 7:00 PM (5 days later). I can’t really complain, as I’m only using a free trial, but if I had paid $79 for the service I’d be fuming!

      Well during Christmas especially, we all have to be a little flexible due to unexpected weather delays and the busiest season for all the shipping companies. That would be a UPS or FedEx problem or a delay from the retailer you are shopping at, I suspect. Not ShopRunner’s fault.

        I find it interesting that my order from Amazon DID arrive in 2 days, while this one through Toys R Us and Shop Runner took 5. I’m just warning people that it sounds great on the surface, but don’t rely on 2-day shipping if you really need something to be there. I’m glad this was a trial. It’s taught me to stick with Amazon. Furthermore, Toys R Us sent me the WRONG item after 5 days. Now I have to wait until they receive the the wrong item that I ship back to them before they will ship the correct item. All in all I expect it will be about 2 weeks before the correct item is delivered with my “2-day Shoprunner shipping.” When Amazon has shipped the wrong item or a damaged item, they immediately ship out a replacement, no questions asked. The customer service doesn’t compare to this toys r us/shoprunner mess!

          Amazon has unreal customer service and lightning fast shipping with Prime. I totally agree that if you have to choose, Prime is for sure the way to go. Toys R Us…..meh. They are always fairly slow with shipping and their customer service pretty much sucks. It’s totally TRU’s fault for sure. I guess for me, it is more about the “free” as opposed to the 2-day crap.

    Does anyone know if they did the 30 day trial are they still eligible for the one year free? I just cancelled my 30 day trial yesterday and I remember it saying that I would not be eligible for another free trial. Is this considered something different? I just dont want to get charged $79.
