* On a side note, it appears that this 100% Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla sells for quite a bit on Amazon.com. so this seems like a great deal. 😀
(Thanks, Carla!)
I think the caramel flavor one has changed. It says it requires $20 purchase?
The caramel is free when you purchase it online. If you buy in the store, it requires a $20 purchase. 😀
Thanks, Collin! But, when I go to that link there’s no button to add to my cart. So, what am I doing wrong? (Sure wouldn’t be the first thing I’ve done wrong today) 😉
It’s not just you! I can’t figure it out either!
It’s not just you. I’m having the same problem! Maybe it’s out of stock now?
It says add to registry but no add to cart. I got the other items added already too!
me too! This is a great deal–thanks for posting!
I’m having the same problem.
Thank goodness! I thought I was losing my mind.
=) Not yet… 😉
Here is my food coloring code if someone wants it. I decided not to get the deal without the caramel flavoring.

(My last comment didn’t post) I am having the same problem- no button to add. So I typed it in the caramel flavor in the search box & found it that way. I was able to add it but is is charging me $5.99 instead of *free*. Would love to figure this out!
I think the caramel flavor has changed.
Looks like the caramel and the facebook page are having issues. I’ll cross my fingers and check back later!
Sorry guys…it looks like the caramel flavoring is out of stock. Darn! However, you can still get the Vanilla Extract and 3 Food Colors for $5.89 shipped. 😀
Yes, is the caramel sold out? Same problem here…
No way to add the vanilla or caramel to cart, anyone know how to add them, says add to registry.
I don’t think the caramel flavor is free anymore. I went to your link and it doesn’t give a buy option and when looking through https://www.preparedpantry.com/caramel-flavor-2.aspx It’s back to $5.99.
I was able to get 2 vanillas – 1 madagascar and 1 indonesian for the $5.89.
Thank! I ended up doing the same!
I did the same, but I also got the food coloring. 🙂
I did, too. 🙂
Me too! That’s such a great price. 🙂
Neat deal! But if you are picky like me, be warned that the vanilla’s ingredient list says it contains natural and ARTIFICIAL flavor as well as propylene glycol. I’ll either pass on that part or give it to a less-picky friend!
I’m super-excited about the food coloring gel, however! I just realized that we are out! (Getting my team colors–orange and blue!)
If you are that picky you should pass on the food coloring gel too… It is filled with more bad stuff than the vanilla is. It contains yellow #5 among other things. Yellow #5 – also known as tartrazine – is actually one of the main ingredients in weed killer… it’s what kills the weeds… don’t really want that in my body. It is actually banned in Europe.
Wow! Thanks for the info, ladies! I will pass on this one. I love deals, but I love my body more!
Sorry guys apparently all the comments wanted to load after I posted something. :/
It’s telling me the Vanilla is out of stock too.
Click on Collins direct link to the vanilla (that’s what worked for me). Also, I selected USPS Priority mail and it brought my shipping cost down to $5.63.
Thanks Laurie, that worked and I got one of each flavor of the vanilla. Vanilla is so expensive nowadays, I think this is a pretty good deal.
Dang it! I should have read this earlier 🙁 Priority shipping is only 2-3 days, too. Oh well!
It will depend on where you live. For me USPS was $10 something.
Yay! Love this deal! Ran out of food coloring and needed some and this is perfect for the holidays! Thanks!
I got a farmhouse bread mix, 3 food colorings and 2 different vanillas for $8.91 shipped! Thanks!
You realize that this is artificial vanilla, don’t you?
“Ingredients: Natural and atrificial vanilla flavor, propylene glycol, alcohol, water. This product is packaged with equipment that is used in the production of baking mixes and may contain traces of soy, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, or eggs.”
I see where you are getting that information…I guess I am a little confused as the bottle of Vanilla that is pictured on the site is labeled 100% Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. Hmmmm…
The artificial part is probably the Bourbon. I realize how it is worded looks like they are saying natural and artificial vanilla, but it could just mean the product contains natural and artificial flavorings, not specifically artificial vanilla.
Hi, I work for the Prepared Pantry. Sorry about the confusion. It actually is real vanilla. That list of ingredients was cloned from another product so it was incorrect. The real ingredients are up now, but the vanilla is not artificial.
BTW, here are the ingredients for the Vanilla (which is NOT gluten free, for anyone who might need to be concerned about this):
Marsden & Bathe Vanilla Extract–2 ounces
Ingredients: Natural and atrificial [sic] vanilla flavor, propylene glycol, alcohol, water. This product is packaged with equipment that is used in the production of baking mixes and may contain traces of soy, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, or eggs.
Hi, I work for the Prepared Pantry and both of those issues have been resolved. The vanilla is completely natural. It is NOT artificial. The ingredients list was accidentally cloned from another product so it was incorrect. Also, the caramel now has the shopping cart button. So sorry for the trouble!
Thank you Julie for the clarification – I ordered both the vanilla and the caramel and am excited to try these products.
And Thanks Collin for sharing!
Awe that stinks. I ordered mine an hour ago when the caramel wasn’t working. :[
Me too Samantha.
Darn, me too!
Sorry about that! Feel free to call us at 1.866.745.7892 and we can add the caramel to your order. If you have your order number ready when you call, it will be faster. Just so you know, it’s possible that adding another item will affect the shipping cost a little bit. Sorry again for the trouble. I hope we can get this straightened out!
Aww, so sweet! Best customer service ever. Thanks!
Thank’s just call in and guy add the caramel to my order…they are super nice to.
Just ordered the vanilla and the caramel. This company is new to me, so I’m looking forward to trying the products.
I just did the deal and got the caramel (must be in stock again!) and vanilla, plus the food coloring for 5.89 🙂
I was able to place an order for all the free items (3 food colors, 2 vanilla extracts, and 1 caramel flavor) for $5.99 (shipping)!
thanks! =)
Me too!!! AWESOME deal!!!! Cant wait to try out these new products.
How did you get 2 vanillas? I thought the limit was 1?
Never mind! It was one madagascar and one indonesian, right? Hehe
Me too! Yay! Thanks Collin!
Annie- After you go thru Collin’s link to get the first vanilla, go to the search box on the website and search again for the other flavor of vanilla and the caramel. I don’t know if you have to get the two different types of vanilla for it to work, but it definitely lets you order the three flavorings for free.
I just got off the phone with a CSR and she was able to add the caramel to my order, but she said since I already had both vanilla flavors I wouldn’t be able to get the caramel so I removed one of the vanillas and added the caramel. She said that anyone that ordered 2 of the vanillas would only get one when the order is shipped so you might want to correct your orders by phone if you didn’t get the caramel and instead ordered 2 vanillas.
That doesn’t make any sense. If the receipt says 2 vanillas they have to send both of them.
It states “(You choose the flavor)(Flat rate shipping $2.99) LIMIT 1 FREE FLAVOR.” on my receipt next to the vanilla.
Thanks!
i am really tempted, but 2oz vanilla seems really small .
Those little bottles of extract that I get from McCormick’s are only 1 oz. so I think 2 oz. would be a nice size.
For 100% pure vanilla extract, $0.99 is a really good deal!! Even for a 2 ounce. 🙂
Yeah, I forgot, those McCormick’s are also imitation vanilla! These are 100% ! I think it’s a good deal.
Actually, I am not so sure about the “pure” part. It doesn’t state the percentage of alcohol that comes from bourbon…?
I just looked at the one in my cupboard and it’s only 1 oz so 2 isn’t small at all IMO.
I was able to get the caramel as well, doesn’t say sold out. Also, for 3-5 day shopping it was only 10 cents more, $5.99 compared to the regular mail for $5.89. I did the 3-5 day fedex so I can use it for christmas cookies next week 🙂
got the caramel when it was offered a few weeks ago…..SO GOOD in apple pie!
Super excited about this as I needed vanilla flavoring and wanted to try something different. Thanks!!!
The shipping price increased when I checked out with two vanillas and one caramel in my cart. If I’m only allowed one vanilla, will this get adjusted? I don’t want to pay the price for three bottles if I’m only receiving two.
I would call them if I were you.
Just called customer service and he took care of everything for me! Vanilla, Caramel and 3 food colorings for cheap! Excellent customer service! I am also super happy to be supporting an Idaho company! Booyah!
I got my order in today and the vanilla and caramel extracts are really big compared to my 1oz bottles of imitation that I have in my pantry and they smell wonderful. Considering I only need about a tsp for a recipe these will last me a long time. Thank you for letting us know about this deal. Not sure what to do with these 3 food colors.
Use them for coloring some playdoh? Or icing, or cookies, or rice, or pasta….
My son’s 28 so don’t need any playdoh, LOL. I never thought of coloring rice or pasta. Thank you
