OK…it was a little hard to spend this much on a water bottle, but I am glad that I did. Water stays cold a long time & I am sure that a heated drink would stay warm just as long. No metal taste at all! Easy to clean. I’m glad that I spent a little more $$$ and purchased the insulated Klean Kanteen. UPDATE: After four months of using this bottle I appreciate it even more. I live in Florida & this bottle keeps my water cold even AFTER it has sat in my HOT car for several hours!
My only issue with this bottle is that it keeps my drinks TOO hot for too long. I make my tea in the morning and it is so hot that I can’t drink it for about 30 mins after I put in hot water!
I am thoroughly happy with these bottles. I bought two and LOVE them. My water stays icy cold for 10 hours.. literally, ice will still be in it. I have even had my bottle in a hot yoga class for 2+ hours and still cold. Another great factor is it doesn’t sweat on the outside.

We love these bottles–they are the only ones that are completely stainless steel. Most water bottles have plastic caps, these are stainless steel in the inside so your drink only touches clean safe steel (no bpa please!). We have had ours for at least a year and we use them everyday–they still look brand new.

Are they dishwasher safe?
I never put s/s items in the d/w minus silverware. The pressure can over time break down the elements in such things as lids, pots, & insulated items.
I have this exact Kleen Kanteen and it says “hand washing recommended” on the bottom. Since it is insulated, I have always hand washed it. Love it. Keeps things icy cold or piping hot!
I love stainless steel for water bottles and/or tea and coffee thermos cups – but in my experience, one you start using any stainless steel item for something like coffee it still does absorb the flavors pretty quickly. I have one stainless tea cup and one stainless coffee cup because if I mix the two (or put water in the coffee or tea mug) then I can taste the stronger flavor (almost always coffee) if filled with the other drink – no matter how well it’s washed.
I agree. Best to keep the separated. I’ve had my s/s Starbucks one for years & it is one of the best investments. Sometimes, it’s worth paying the extra $$!
I bought a Thermos brand one for $9.99 at Walmart a couple years for my son, he needed it asap for a Scout outing and it keeps drinks warm for about 10 hours! I am always amazed by it! They are great to have! The one we got there has a cover lid, so you can upscrew the main lid and the other one and pour it into the lid to drink it as well…

I bought two of these from the Kleen Kanteens web sight for the daughter for her birthday as she works in nyc 12 hour shifts and this was what she wanted. She told me she had one and they really keep things hot for about 7 hours. LOL today is her birthday and I just got off the phone with her before I looked at this.. Great price
Just bought my Kleen Kanteens for husband BUT the quantity kept putting in 2 and then I would switch it to 1 when I checked out it would be 2. So I bought 2!!
Too bad they are made in China. I try to only buy the Siggs (made in Switzerland) or the BPA-free plastic Bobbles (made in USA) or BPA-free Nalgenes (made in USA).

i love our sigg water bottle, but do they have insulated ones too for hot drinks? i haven’t looked into it for that. right now my husband loves his KK for insulated hot coffee every day!
I loved our Sigg water bottles for years. We bought them back in 2006. But I was seriously peeved when I discovered that they lied to their users for YEARS about the BPA that was in the old bottle liners. They swore up and down for years that they didn’t use BPA. Well, some group did the testing and they finally had to admit they were lying.
Any company that will lie to its consumers about health and safety doesn’t deserve to have a business anymore imo. I bought those bottles for myself, hubby and my two kids. I would prefer to keep my kids BPA-free, you know?
If they lied once about the safety of their products, odd are they would do it again. :/ So I have managed to find someone else to give my business to since then.
