*If you are not currently a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, do NOT stress! There are 3 simple ways to become a member:
1. Go to the Customer Service Dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately (this is obviously the best option if you have a store close by)!
2. Call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1.800.991.8708; they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the card typically takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
3. Click here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

Even if you call the store they probably won’t know 🙁 I have had to point it out in my local ad just about every time I go in. If your store usually participates in doubles there it is VERY likely they are included in this promo.

I’m in Pensacola and I totally understand! The fact that they only double 5 coupons was okay with me! Ended up with (2) Dimetapp, (2) Axe shower gels, (1) Schick shave gel and (3) Powerade (on sale for .79 and had a B2G1 Q) for $8.26!! Not bad for my first time doubling plus the kiddos are sick and I needed the cold meds anyway…

Yes, they only double the first five coupons. So, make sure the highest valued coupons are first.
Now, because my store double up to .99 everyday, they will still double all .99 and under coupons.
Kmart prices are higher than most stores so check out your local ad before going. If you buy items that are on sale then you can get some deals.
Where do you live that your kmart doubles everyday? I had heard a rumor that mine did, but keep forgetting to ask.

It is always before coupons in my store, at least. I like to save all of my “free” item coupons (like the free Zyrtec Q I got in the mail, or the free Fruit Naturals Q’s from the back of my Shredded Wheat boxes, etc) and use them for promotions like this to help me get to the minimum requirement, then get everything else free using the double coupons. There is usually a booklet/flyer in the customer service area that has Kmart store coupons on the front for one free item with a $25 purchase each week, so you can add that in, too. I’ve done this many times during these super doubles promos and only paid sales tax for around $26-$30 worth of stuff. 🙂

No problem. I’m working on them now. I was worried for others, b/c one person suggested giving the item as a gift and then asking for the box back to get the UPC off. But, it would be too late for the rebate if you did that for Christmas. Hope you get yours off in time!

In the past when they required a $25 purchase in drug or grocery, pet food was included.
The cashier also told me no pet items….I told her to scan the coupon and see what happened and it doubled. I had 4 bags of pet food and told her if it didn’t work I wasn’t buying any of it. I got 4 bags of pet food, a minute maid drink box package and my son grabbed another single drink and I paid 8.80 out of pocket….saved 18 in coupons

she is only doubling the first 5, and not the $3.00 ky one, so her scenario is ok. You can use as many coupons as you want, but they will only double the first 5, so make sure to do the highest value ones first. 🙂

I’ve NEVER had an issue with using additional Q’s in the same transaction…I just hand over my biggest value 5 first, then all of the additional coupons I might have still work fine at face value. Unless they have somehow changed things this time, it shouldn’t be a problem, because the computer does everything automatically.

Darn, I went there today with my 10 coffee coupons. Folgers coffee is $3.49 – 50c coupon. Double coupons would have been nicer.
This might be a good time to use the $2 Tide coupons that they mailed a few weeks ago? I’m not sure how much Tide runs at Kmart but I will definitely check and include one in my transaction if it’s the right price.

I’m wondering about the limit of 5 coupons–does it mean you can only get five $5 coupons (catalinas) for spending $50? I will have to call tomorrow and see if my store is doubling and get them to clarify the limit of 5 before I go. May have to check this out!

It’s 5 coupons per day per your Rewards Card member #. I’m having my husband do 5 on his and me do 5 on mine. Of course per day is a joke considering it’s only going on for 12/16 only.
Ok so you have to spend at least $25 and can only have 5 coupons doubled!! That means that you have to have an average price of $5 per item (before coupons) or have higher priced items to make up for the smaller priced items!! Right?? And you can ONLY double 5 a day and cause its a one day deal you cant go back the next day and do more!! Why do they make it so difficult!!!????
it is 5 coupons with 1 transaction with shop ur way rewards card (have to use it) and they are only doing it tomorrow ONLY…. so basically u will only get 5 items atleast (which they would need to be $5 a piece to make ur $25 total which u would still pay $5 in the end) and u only get 1 transaction it keeps track thro ur shop ur way rewards card
As long as the $25 is before coupons, and my first 5 double it looks like some good deals to me. I could be mistaken but I am working on a deal and I am pleased so far. I am not a big fan of Kmart grocery/hba usually seem priced to high. My concern id that prices in my area may be higher.

in the past it has been any coupon 2.00 and less so a 2.00 coupon WILL double to $4 off the item (they won’t give overage though)..
The problem I have is that my Kmart (Atwater, CA) will not accept internet printed coupons. Thus I am limited to coupons out of the paper. It sucks 🙁
I called my local Kmart that is doing the doubling up 2 $2 and the catch is u have to use ur shop ur way rewards card and u can only use 5 coupons b/c when u use the shop ur way rewards card it keeps track that u have already used 5 coupons in 1 transaction so basically u can only get 5 items and it has to total up to atleast $25 (before coupons) so u will still be spending at least $5 if u play ur cards right….. to me this is not a good deal b/c u only get 1 transaction and 5 items 🙁

I know Kmart is a pain, yadda, yadda, yadda, but during double coupon days I will always go because it is sooo easy to get to the $25 and then get a lot of things for free. Like I said earlier in the comments, I like to use my “free” product coupons that I get in the mail, etc, to help me reach the $25 also, and be on the lookout for a Kmart savings guide at the customer service desk that has a coupon for a free item every week when you reach $25, because then you can throw that in your cart too (usually juice or oreos or something. ) 🙂 🙂 🙂
The lady at my kmart told me that the candles were NOT considered grocery or health care and said my coupons would not double :(. She said the computer automatically does it and that it would not with candles…did this work for you? Thanks for posting your senario!!
Yes, I did the Glade deal today (just got back a while ago) and it doubled them just fine. I’ve never had an issue with household stuff, pet care, etc doubling during these promotions. I don’t know why they would tell you that…?!? My Walmart matches kmarts doubles without any restrictions. You can use as many coupons as you want.
If you have the $30 off Phillips Norelco COupon – use it at WALMART! They have in some areas, razors that are either $27 or $29 or $38!!!! You have to really look around, but there are some Walmarts out there that have the Senso touch that are not $78! The ocupon is good til end of January if your store is out of the razors!
My Walmart absolutely refused to take that coupon on those razors and said they had a meeting about it and said I was attempting coupon fraud. 🙁

i just came back from doing this deal an i substituted some items but overall i think it went well i still got the the scott products and a couple other items and my total after coupons and b4 tax was $16 it was worth the hassle =D
I crazily tried to do the last one…spent alot of time to figure out a scenario only to be told ‘we don’t take those computer generated coupons’ so you might want to make sure your Kmart allow IP’s if you plan on using them. Good Luck – it’s always needed to shop there!

Hi Susanna! In the past, pet food has been included in the double coupon events – even though its not a human consumable. However, as is always the case with Kmart, your experience today could vary from others. My advice for you is to include pet food in your scenario but have a Plan B. Better safe…if you know what I mean. Hope this helps. 🙂
I just got back from my Kmart (Queensbury, NY) and I had NO ISSUES AT ALL with double coupons. Here’s what my transaction looked like:
6 – 20 oz. Mountain Dew – $1.59 each
= $9.54
– $6.00 (3 $1.00/2 coupons doubled to $2.00/2)
= $3.54/ 3 = $0.59 EACH!
3 – 64 oz. Juicy Juice – $2.50 each
= $7.50
– $2.00 (1 $1.00/3 coupon doubled to $2.00/3)
= $5.50/ 3 = $1.84 EACH
1 – 4 lb. Purina Dog Chow – $5.49
= $5.49
– $4.00 (1 $2.00/ 1 coupon doubled to $4.00/ 1)

I just got back from the Kmart on Alexis In toledo, Oh, and the flat out refused to double anything over 1.00 even though the flyer posted throughout the store stated double up to 2.00. The manager, the HR manager both refused, after I spent an hour and a half shopping….The Manager doesn’t even know the program, said he could only double the first five coupons period, not first 5 coupons per item…
The program does say “5 coupons per PERSON” not per item. But that is pretty messed up that they wouldn’t honor the program that they were advertising AT ALL…

HELP! I’m fairly new to couponing and very new to KMart (just signed up and printed out a rewards card). I have a question on the BOGO coupons. From what I’ve seen and been told, I cannot use my BOGO coupons with the double coupon event, but per the first coupon deal above it sounds as though it will work with the B2G1 Hershey’s coupon. Is that true? I tried using my BOGO Schick coupons but they didn’t double anything. I’m in Illinois and we normally don’t double here. The cashier didn’t even know about the double coupon event, so I want to make sure I put together the right coupons for this. I think that even using my BOGO Schick on top of the other doubled coupons (and $5 gift card for spending $50), it could be good.
The kmart in Fernandina Beach told me I could only double coupons worth $1.00 or less and the “up to $2.00” is after the coupon has been doubled.
Just got back from Kmart in Wayne PA. The only store employee who knew about the promotion was the head manager and when I finally got to checkout he was on break. I had to argue with the assistant manager about it. I ended up getting the deal but not with alot of eye rolling and huffing and puffing. I’m contacting the corporate office…this is ridiculous!

I had no problems when I went to Kmart today. I got 2 excedrin pm $3.99, 2 curel hand lotion 3.99, and little swimmers (needed these for upcoming swim lessons). Used 2 2/1 for the excedrin, 2 2/1 fpr the curel and 1.50/1 any huggies for the little swimmers.
Took a trip to my local kmart today with my rewards card, spend 65 dollars on misc stuff throughout the store, blankets, axe shower gel, pads, shave gel, dog food, scarf and hats, socks… got to the check out, with my five coupons to double, would have made my items nearly free, guess what they did not double. my cashier acted like i was the only person that day to try to double my 2 dollar or less coupons using my rewards card. she read the ad over and over saying i know that there is a rule about what you have to get… the rule was spend 25 dollars, and no more than five coupons doubled per customer per day with rewards card. she doubled them manually, only after asking every other cashier in the store for their advice, this was at eight pm mind you, on the only day of the sale. she then got mad, told me she was going to loose her job for this and gave me my discounts. my husband was not so lucky, he gave up and had her void his items. also kmart has horrible horrible outdated equipment, none of the coupons would scan, and their policy is “well if they wont scan”…. always some bs from this store. we were in line almost an hour. gotta love new albany IN kmart! merry christmas !

1 Reynolds wrap foil 50ft. @ $2.99
1 John Frieda foam hair color @ $12.99 (to get my total above $25)
I used:
3- $2 Biore coupons which each double to $4 = 120 ct. facial wipes for $1
1- $1.25 Reynolds coupon printed few weeks ago that doubled to $2.50 = $0.49
1- free John Frieda color foam coupon from survey online = FREE
Total oop = $3.20 ($1.71 of which was tax)

I wonder though if Biore is discontinuing some of their products….. Kmart had quite a few items at least 50% and my Rite Aid also has most of theirs marked 50% off.
