Wow! I’ve heard from several of you that currently CVS has an unadvertised deal on Head and Shoulders products. Supposedly, you can find them on clearance for only $1.57 AND they are also producing a $2 Ecb for each bottle you buy (limit 3). Pair that low price/Ecb with a coupon and you have yourself a very sweet deal! Here’s how…

And I do not think the limit is 3. I think it is 6. I bought 3 and the receipt did not say my limit was reached. I will try to buy 3 more this evening and see what happens.
It seems this ecb deal is a max of 3 bottles per transaction (you can buy 4, but you won’t get an $8 ecb, just $6) , up to 6 bottles total.
And yes, the limit is 6! I reached it after buying them in 3 sets of 2.

yep – just did this at my cvs. they only had 2 bottles left in stock and i had thrown out the coupon already but it was still free free free after ecb!

The limit was reached @ 6 for me. I did 3 separate transactions (at 2 different stores b/c 1 store only had 2 bottles on the shelf, the other store had a full endcap!)
My first transaction was on Monday, I used a previous $3 ecb b/c I didn’t have my coupon binder with me. Paid .33 w/tax. Went to a different store yesterday with the $1/2 coupon and rolled the $4 ecb, using the 1.86 overage towards a Frutopia hair serum (1.96), again paying .32 w/tax. When I noticed the receipt still didn’t say limit reached, I got 2 more, this time just using the coupon and a $2 ecb, so 6 bottles of shampoo + 1 hair serum for $1!
Don’t forget the Beauty Club balance resets on Dec 31, so if you’re close to your next $5 reward, you’ll have until closing time Saturday to buy stuff to count! I was almost $10 away, but after buying all those head & shoulders + hair serum, that was more than enough to push me over!

Yep it works. At my CVS they are $1.67 each and with each one a $2.00 ECB prints out. I kept doing 2 at a time and it went all the way up to 6 bottles. $9.42 for 6 bottles of Head and Shoulders and received $12.00 in ECB. Awesome ,awesome deal!
also certain bottles of Dove, Pantene and Herbal Essence are also $1.57, but no ECB’s. There are also other deals for shampoos and conditioners that are unmarked. My advice is to take it up to the redbox and scan the item. Some of the prices below the item will say 50% off but it’s really 75%.
Oddly, my stores have them still at 50% off but all the Pantene are 75%. Arg! The H&S clearance bottles only had 3 remaining. More than likely, those bottles will be gone by the time it’s switched to 75%.
My bottles were incorrectly labeled. Make sure to check the price at the price scanner.

yep, you gotta scan them. Both stores I went to, had them tagged at 50% off, but scanning 75% off.
I just purchased 4 bottles and used the coupons and it was $4.28 and I got $6 ECB back. Awesome deal! Thanks Hip2Save! 🙂
There were a lot of items on clearance in the hair care aisle! Found Fruitopia hair spray down to $2.09 and had a CVS coupon that took off $2! Lots of Pantene down to $1.57 and I used the $3/2 coupon from the 11/27 P&G to get them for only 7 cents!
I also found some Rimmel nail polish on clearance for only $1.15 so only 15 cents after using the $1 coupon from 10/16 RP! Lots of cosmetic tools like eyelash curlers etc. were 50 – 75% off too.
They didn’t have them marked down at my store, maybe its a regional deal?

I went ot the 2 on north broadway and they were marked down but they were also sold out!
I tried Emory Rd across from Buddy’s Bar-B-Que and Merchants Drive @ Clinton Highway. None were marked 🙁
Which oz size bottles?
At CVS my store in Indiana. Head & shoulders were 14.2 oz for $1.57 and Pantene 25.4 oz $1.74. But not all types of Pantene in that size were on clearance. you will just have to check the prices.

I found tons of Herbal Essences and Pantene marked down to as low as 1.09-1.59 use the $3/2 Pantene to get almost free shampoo and the $1/2 on the Herbal….I stocked up!! and they had a ton of varieties.
I got the H&S too, it was the Ocean Lift type that was on clearance where I live (Northern VA) Spent about $3 on at least 10+ bottles of shampoo from 3 diff CVS’s

I went to 2 CVS’s – live in Miami and they were all regular price, including the Pantene. 🙁
The H&S was on sale at my CVS for $3.14 each, not the best deal. I bought two because I thought that it was still a good deal just not a money maker for me. It was $6.28 for two minus my $1.00 coupon plus I had ECB that I used to pay for them.
My CVS in Charlotte only had Ocean Spray 75% off and it was all gone by the time I get there. Hope to stop at another on the way home. My son loves H&S

Yes but they will mark down your coupon you won’t get the overage.
If you don’t want any beeps you can buy 5 and use one $7/2 coupon. You’ll net to 1.35 for all of them then.
I had 2 H&S coups for $1/1! One was from a Gillette gift set I bought a year ago and the other was from one of the P&G home mailers. Huge moneymaker! I used the $1/2 coups for Aussie since they were marked down to 99 cents a piece!

Only 2 particular types of H&S were clearanced @ the CVS stores in my area – One has a purple ribbon that says Extra Volume and the other has a blue wave.. Ocean Lift. To note, only the shampoo’s were marked down, not the matching conditioners. For whatever reason, those were regular price? I’m sure this is a YMMV if you can find them as this deal has been on several shopping forums (and I’m sure other blogs) for a few days now.

the limit is 6 on the H&S also the Pantene is ringing up $1.74 but different kinds in different stores match with $3/2 coupon from PG (11/27 i think ) then it comes to a good deal, and its on the large Pantene the H&S is on the ocean lift 14.2 oz.
My store was already picked over but I did get a good deal on burts bee’s shampoo so I was still happy:-)

As long as the store has these. That’s the whole point of clearancing them…to get them out of the store.
Ringing up regular price at CVS in Greenville, SC ($6.29). I scanned about 6 different kinds of H&S. 🙁 So disappointed.
Ringing up at full price here, too – in RI. Going to check one or two other locations; there’s one on every cornere here. Hopefully one will have the sale price.
Waw went to 3 different cvs stores and finally found some H&S it was the ocean lift Shampoo…and i believe its up to 3 limit ECB per transaction cuz i did 2 and each were $6 dollars ECB i cleared my cvs and stocked up =) thnxx for the heads up =D
I went to 3 stores too, and someone took them all, but the ocean lift was not discounted. never have luck at cvs, really starting to dislike them

No Head and Shoulders on sale. I could only find Dove at 75% off and it was almost oos at my So Cal stores.
im from southern cali and none of the items i seen in store had the clearance sticker on them but i went scan crazy nd i scanned until i found them went to threee different cvs stores and the first 2 didnt have any in stock and the last one did but was hiding/mixed with the regular H&S and Herbal/ Pantene
Anyone know if there are any CVS in the Rhode Island or Massachusetts area that have these on clearance. Went to mine today and both the H and S and Pantenes were regular price. I didn’t scan them b/c they didn’t have any tags anywhere that showed that they might have been on clearance. Tx.
Also be on a look out for Pantene 15.9 oz, 25% bonus size. Some bottles are also on unmarked clearance with a $1 extra buck.
