does walgreens have a 4 “like” coupons per transaction limit?
If you buy 5, the first four will ring up to $6 and the 5th chex mix will ring up at $1.99 making your total $7.99 (per the ad)
That will make it .99 cents for all 5. Colin’s scenario above works out to .15 cents each and this scenario is .20
the 1.99 each is just for the first 3 then the 4th one rings up at 3 cents to get to the 4/$6. the fifth one would ring up at 1.50 because you already purchased the 4 bags to get the 4/$6 deal, any extra bags after the first 4 will ring up at the sale price(4/$6) so the 5th bag would be $1.50, not 1.99
This is how I did it too – 4 for 6…but bought 5 and the 5th rang up at $1.50. Then I had (5) of the 50-cent off chocolate ones…and the Wags coupon = 4.00 get 3.00 back = 20-cents each. Collin’s scenario is 15-cents each, but I ran out of ink and couldn’t get the 60-cent coupon online so I used the 50-cent ones from the newspaper. Still a good deal to me!

Walgreens never allows more than one RR for the same product in the same transaction. So, if you bought 2 in in the same transaction (in order to use the coupon) you would only get 1 RR.

Remember to check the Walgreens clearance at your store!! I went back today to score more deals. Check shampoo/conditioner, body sprays, lotions and make-up! I scored Covergirl lipgloss on clearance for $1.59 each. I bought 2 used the $2.50/2 coupon. Paid .68 cents….34 cents each!! Regular price $5.99. I also bought the L’Oreal roller foundation on clearance for $3.79–used the $3/1 coupon. .79 cents for foundation is unheard of!!! (Regular price $14.99) It was on my no buy list…..oops!!

It won’t start till after midnight if it starts on 01/08/12 and at my 24 hour Walgreens they advise us to wait till at least 12:15 am to check out as the machine has to switch over and it takes that long sometimes. Did you happen to use a $2 RR from General Mills for payment? I made this mistake – I used the “bonus” $2 GM RR from the Nature Valley granola thins that I bought last week. The RR that prints for the Chex Mix is also $2 from GM.
My 2nd transaction worked, it did generate the $2 RR. So it must be because I didn’t pay with a $2 GM RR.

Chex Mix deal worked for me this morning…got four bags and a $2 RR.

I looked at the Chex Mix deal in New York (city) and it’s 2/$6 so I’m guessing this deal is only regional.
In my store in Utah the add on the shelf said 2 for 6.00$ but during the check out it was adjusted to 4 for 6.00$ and 2.00 RR with no problem.
Chex mix did not work for me this morning. Can I contact catalina about it?

The was the way I read the fine print on the rebate form.
