Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do with KY (Besides the obvious 🙂 )? I have been getting a TON for free, and even giving it away I have an overflow, not to mention it is kind of weird giving people lube.

    • Suzanne

I use KY to lube up the baby thermometer before inserting it in his behind. If you have friends with babies, they may be interested.

      • MRS. RN

taking the temp under the arm (axillary) is the safest option!! you can severly injure an infant or child by doing rectal temps…..pediatricians expect that when you report a temp to them that it is axillary. even working in pediatrics w/ sick kiddos, axillary temps are what is the standard!!!!

        • jennifer

My ped office does rectal temps until they are 2 years old and will only accept that as the real temp. My 6 month old was at the dr 4 days this week with a 105 temp and they did rectal temps each time and made sure I was doing them too. I go to one of the biggest practices in Atlanta, so this isn’t the standard here.

        • Mo

Not true!!! When babies come into the ER the ONLY way to get an accurate temp is rectally, unless you are using EXTREME force you cannot push through the rectum muscle or tissue with a blunt object. Please, please, please, don’t disseminate fear over a very safe procedure. I had to see a baby with a very high (we assume 105-106) fever released from the ER without treatment because the mother refused to let us do a rectal temp and the axillary and ear are not accurate enough to base treatment on. If you are monitoring a sick baby you can do an axillary/ear to see if a rectal is necessary but meds should only be given based on a rectal. Remember, also that a “normal” temp is 98.6 for oral, 99.6 for rectal and 97.6 for ear/axillary.

          • shellyerrn

I 100% agree…I’m an ED nurse too. Damage to an infant’s rectum has happened but not usually when parents are taking the temperature. Usually it happens when parents are trying to stimulate a bowel movement with a thermometer (this used to be practice in the hospital setting). With infants it’s crucial to have an accurate core temp (as done rectally) because anything over 100 is suspicious for sepsis (very dangerous blood infection).

    • michelle

“Its kind of weird giving people lube” this made me lolol!

      • Craig

Me too. lol. Maybe thats your sign you have enough and should stop buying it for awhile.

    • Kelly

You could send some to me lol! All the Walmarts within a 20 mile radius of me have been sold out of it for weeks 🙁

    • Maria

KY has a TON of uses in any kind of medical setting! I’m a paramedic and we use KY to lubricate ET (endotracheal) tubes. Veterinary offices do the exact same procedures on animals, so maybe they would welcome a donation! Alot of animal hospitals are frequently short on funding, so you could put together a donation of couponed pet chow, old towels/blankets, and toss in some lube for good measure! I’m sure that they would LOVE you!!

  2. NHmommy

Jacquie – Last year my son’s ENT suggested we put some on a q-tip and wipe the inside of his nostrils to help keep them moist. We are in NH and the cold, dry weather can be irritating and dry.

  3. Savannah

The KY coupon was also in todays paper $3 off any!

  4. gardengirl

If you are planning to use the Neutrogena coupons, when it prints it says limit one coupon per purchase and one coupon per customer.

  5. Christi B.

I want to know how one is supposed to know for sure that Rite Aid will accept the IQ. I went last week and all of mine beeped and wouldn’t go through. Their new system is quite frustrating with not having a known way of whether the coupon will work or not. Anybody know if there is a trick to knowing?

  6. Abby

I’m super excited about the $5 off of ANY large tub of Enfamil formula (22 oz or larger) coupon I found at my 13601 zip! Usually, I see tons of Q’s for Newborn or for Enfagrow…but my baby drinks Premium…so I’m totally thrilled! Yay!

    • KIM

THERE IS A $10 OFF ANY LARGE TUB AVAILABLE NOW!!

  7. Amber

The KY coupon says excludes trial sizes. Is 2 oz considered a trial size?

    • robbie

Nope. There is a smaller one that is trial 🙂

  8. Shelly

I cant find the floss coupon!!! 🙁

    • Shelly

      Never mind… found it! 🙂

  9. cindy kamps

    Hi Colin,
Another riteaid perk! Some of the Buy $30 get $10 up reward deals ( I think there are at least 3)….also OVERLAP with the Buy and Save spend $100 get $20. Like the Aveeno and Neosporin deal you “cooked up”……..

  10. MrsNnr

If you go to KY’s website you can sign up for a $5 off coupon!

    • Craig

Keep in mind, thats for the higher priced KY and not the reg. lube. There is a coupon for what Collin has posted here on there too, but its a $2q.

  11. boop

Has anyone seen loreal makeup coupons? Its 75%off at my ritaid.

    • Tiffany

There were loreal make up coupons in the 1/1 rp.

      • Heather

  14. Brandy Hill

I can’t find the ky q at all!

  15. Diana

Not finding the KY coupon at all… Didn’t get to print it last time when it was supposed to be there either 🙁
Any suggestions on what zip code to use? My son has some medical complications and we goes through lubricate jelly like crazy!

  16. Dawn

Looked in several zips for the Reach toothbrush coupon. Tried 90210, 13601, 12345, and 77477. Does anyone know where it is? did I totally miss it?

    • chichi

I found it on the smartsource website.

      • Dawn

        Chichi, thank you!

  17. Tim

Can’t find KY on Coupons.com, but found one in 1/8 SS insert, $3 off any KY brand product.

  18. Charla

Too bad some of these coupons print with the single bar code. My commissary won’t accept them unless they have both bar codes at the bottom. 🙁

  19. Anna H

Okay here’s one that I’m not sure on because I’m new to this and it might be regional. Rite aid is doing the Neutrogena for buy 30.00 get a 10 up. Then I saw in Walgreen ad if you buy 30.00 of Neutrogena you get a 10.00 rebate. So if you go to Neutrogena.com/rebate it gives you a rebate form until Feb. So if I purchased 30 at rite aid got back 10 up and sent receipt in to Neutrogena would we get 30 worth of product for 10 bucks. Thanks for any help. Live in WA.

    • Ana

Yes that is correct. The rite aid +Ups are separate from manufacture rebates. Cleanly cut your receipt with scissors to get your 10+UP and send it in. I’m newish at this too, but I think that is the deal.

  20. Cynthia Hansen

Can someone help me with this problem??

I’ve been shopping at walgreens for quite some time with coupons and all of a sudden im running into beepage when scanning RR’s at the end. Cashiers/managers are saying that $/2 coupons count as 2 coupons and therefore my limit of coupons is reached?!?!?

    the policy states
“The number of manufacturer coupons, including RR manufacturer coupons, must not exceed the number of items in the transaction.”

so a $0.50/2 coupon should count as ONE coupon, yes?!

    Here’s my purchase:
    2 benefiber bottles
4 chex mix bags on sale 4 for $5
    $1/4 chex mix walgreens coupon
    2 $0.50/2 chex mix coupons
    1 $5/2 benefiber coupon

then it allowed me to only use 1 RR for $3 and my total was $17!! i had 2 more that i wanted to use, in my opinion, i had 6 items and should have been allowed to use 6 coupons.

I’ve had this issue happen to 2 of my nearby stores now…..

    • Hillary

I have been shopping at Walgreens for 3 years now and it always does that same thing (beeps in situations like you described). Here is what I have discovered (and have had to adjust to): It is not the number of physical coupons that you have that matters…what matters is how many items those coupons are “covering”. So, you had 6 items and had coupons to cover all 6 of those items. So, you would still need to buy 2 more small items to be able to use your other two register rewards. Does that make sense??
