The General Dollar Store where I live used to accept “manufacturer’s Coupons”, went in one day with a “manufacturers coupon” for 1 free covergirl product and they told me they no longer accept coupons like that…does anyone know where I can find the company policy on that?…or is it just regulated by the individual stores?.

Went to Walmart today and tried to use the KY coupon for 3.00 off (printed from the link here) and I was told they wouldnt accept it because it dont have 3 bar codes on it. Has anyone else ever ran into this
I believe here on Hip 2 Save they posted the reason the bar codes are changing I can’t remember exactly were it was posted but it was also emaied to me from Hip 2 Save. Yes it has happen to me at HEB as a matter of fact the Manager thought it was a fake until he checked the list of coupons they were taking in and found mine which was at the time Totino’s coupon. It is kind sad for us because we get stuck with the misfortune of the change in bar codes and not all scanners from what I understand work with out the #’s.
That is intersting you say that because I have run into the same problem if I print out a manufactures coupon and take it they say they can’t input into their scanner?!!??!! Last time I printed out a coupon from their own website and they said , “No” until I told them it was from their website and they had coupons, they called the manager and the manager made a big fuzz saying that they don’t take their own coupons anymore.. I didn’t know wehter to laugh or be angry.. Until I asked a simple question to them,”Why would your own corporation that you work for have listed coupons on your website if the customer can’t use them and what part of corporate do I need to contact?” At the time there was 5 people behind me and the manager just said take the coupon and walked away!!!

i didn’t get a virus. i don’t know how anyone could from a bricks coupon…but i printed 2 yesterday and used my hubby’s computer to print 2 more today, mcafee and norton say everything is fine, so i am inclined to believe them.
bricks seems to be okay, its coupons.com ..its off because bricks coupons IS generated by coupons.com…they better get their act together, this isnt the first time their website sent out viruses.

My husband has a couple of FB accounts because he likes to play Mafia Wars. I kindly asked him to like KY on his second account so I could get my coupon!!! Love the Hubs!
I did my “like” on Facebook in the middle of the night when I knew none of my friends and family were chatting.. Got my coupon for $5.00… Quickly went to my site and removed the “Maria likes Ky, from my site by deleting the post.

I was just on coupons.com and clicked coupon, then my page redirected and said suspicious activity on this computer, the page said AV, then it said this website needs to run a scan and the fake page came on as if it was my own computer was running a scan. Clicked off fast. My software picked up nothing, running a scan just in case

I went to my Rite Aid last night in Ohio and got the small KY for $4.29 the 2nd one was $2.14 used my 2 $3.00 off coupons so they cost me a wholde $0.42 then got a $5.00 Up Reward from KY on receipt. So it was a great money maker!!

I was on coupons.com yesterday and it said I had suspious activity. A few seconds later…virus. Had to completely reboot everything! At least my husband thought it was funny that a coupon site gave us the virus. Be careful!

I went to my local target and walmart this evening(rossford) and neither had a sale on the K-Y. I find this happening quite frequently where I spend all the time and effort into printing/clipping coupons only to get to the store and find the item not on sale. 🙁

I have learned to scan all the sales from Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens on their website under Weekly Ads and piece together with my coupon clipping before I go out and try to bargain shop. Sometimes I take my folder of coupons with me and leave in the car that way if I find something else like a sale and have an additional coupon for it I can just go back to my car and get it…

Scored an awesome deal at Target today with the $7 off KY coupon. Got the Yours & Mine for $14.49, which had a peelie attached for a free ($3 or less) card with purchase, and also got back a $5 Target card on the transaction! Now, I’ve just gotta hope that it isn’t awful, lol!

hmmmmmmm no!!! I know I usually take the add from other stores and then show them the coupon from that store which would equate to them matching their price. Sometimes they do it other times they don’t. When they don’t I simply tell them no problem I wil go to target then and get my sale there.
