    Signed up then received an email saying I was “on the waiting list” and…
    We received your request to participate in the Schick Hydro Silk razor sample program. Unfortunately at this time, we do not have additional samples to send out. If more early samples do become available, we’ll notify you first through this email account

      I got the same message when I signed up a while ago. not sure how long, but it did take a few weeks. I got my invite last week a free sample.

      Same here, Kelli – signed up on the 6th, received an email almost immediately after. We shall see…I mean we can’t be free, and we sure can’t make a fuss about it.

    I signed up2 days ago and received the email saying that I was on the waiting list. I received another today saying that I am now off the waiting list and my razor is on it’s way!

    I signed up for this last month, I ended up with some free invites, so I signed up everyone in my family. I received 4 yesterday, and went back and I had like 5 more invites left. So I signed up some friends and sent a couple more to my house. My sister signed up yesterday and got an email saying she was on the waiting list, then she got another email saying to sign up for her Free razor, guess more became available. Yippy!!

      sounds kind of greedy to put down your friends names and have them sent to your house.

        Wow!! Lol, I never said I signed up my friends and sent them to MY house… Please reread the post! I signed up everyone in my house because they are not into signing up for stuff. The couple that will be left over will go into Gift Baskets that will be given out to friends. People are so quick to assume these days! PLUS, I also live 2 blocks from the Beach, we leave extra food/toiletries/clothes/blankets in our Alley and the Homeless come through and take what they want.

          No offense Danielle, I honestly try to be the peace keeper. Your first post above you did, in fact say, “So I signed up some friends and sent a couple more to my house.” I understand both sides of the argument. I know it’s a federal offense to tamper with mail and I think most times there are terms and conditions on the bottom of each submission stating you are the person you are claiming to be. Then there is using someone else’s to have items shipped to your residence. The greedy, is just because everyone would like a shot at getting something, many companies limit quantities to prevent situations like this. While it’s great to help others, it’s also great for other hip2savers to score a free deal. With everyone struggling, everyone is looking for a few good deals.

      I’m all for signing up once, maybe twice, but thats it. I will sign up family members so they have a nice surprise in their mailbox. I title it, Aunt Susie, Lorrie (mom), etc… they know its from me and they get things sent to their house they wouldn’t normally think about. Its a nice way to surprise your family and they get to try new things. (Aunt Susie LOVES flavored tea discovered this way) but thats it… it goes to THEIR house….

        Leslie, I do the same thing. My mother, aunt, and grandmother don’t get on the internet so I always try and get samples sent to them, too. I didn’t think we could ever have 2 sent to the same address. Maybe Danielle is giving them away or donating to charity or maybe she has 5 daughters, nobody knows why someone else is doing what they are doing. Could be a legit reason.

          I think in the end it comes down to how many the company agrees to send to each address. You can sign up to have as many sent to your house as you please, doesn’t mean they will ship in the end. I have limited myself to two of ANYTHING since I started couponing, no matter what it is. In store, online, samples, coupons, coupon inserts, etc. Never more than two, and my family always has as much as it needs. I thought I would run short without “stocking up” like other people do, but it always seems to fill the cabinets and we use it before it expires or goes bad. Just seems to work for our family.

          I can’t imagine having the patience to fill those forms out over and over again! I have to really push myself to get it done once. Ha ha!

            lololoolooo—- same here to much to do once is enough but I do think of my relatives and I have to ask them if they want me to sign them up… But then I only worry about 3 individuals in my life..

          I always sign my mom up but I specifically put my moms address and name on the sign up and give her heads up.. Sometimes she wants it sometimes she says no to me and I let it goo… I signup my sister in law whom is in the military but always always give her heads up about what Im about to do or sent her…Sometimes my husband will say Im looking for this or that brand if you come across it send it to my business address. I do!! OTher times he says don’t send me junk… So I always think it is better to give heads up and make sure you remember that everybody appreciates the Freebies and we should be consider it enough of others and remember they want some too…
          That is why when I go purchase items with coupons at great deals two is my limit! Unless my sister-in law calss me and says she wants me to be on the look out for a certain item then I shop for her and I.. OTher wise I try not too hug and empty the selfs or empty the freebies online…

      I don’t think its greedy at all. If she’s signing up for her family members. I do it for my mom and sister, since they both have jobs and are too exhausted or busy to coupon or get samples. Don’t listen to the people being negative.

        Exactly, AngieJB! I signed up everyone in my household, and also from friends. The extras that I have will go in gift baskets that we give out to friends and family. No greed, or fraud like others have claimed. Not worried about it! 🙂

          I’m sorry but I think that it’s not right if you request several samples forthe same household . Companies intend these as samples and usually it’s one per household. If anyone wants to make gift baskets they should either pay for it or use things they get free through couponing. Not sign up their kids/husbands for the same deal . It’s different though if you’re requesting it to go to your sister’s/mom’s house.

      I just thought I would put my two cents in. I used to post negative comments because I thought “that would teach them” or change things. It doesn’t, it just brings arguments and hate into the world instead of love. It isn’t the end of the world and I am sure everyone will still get what they need. I am sure Danielle is going to continue doing what she believes is right regardless of what anyone across the country thinks who doesn’t know the situation or her heart. Everyone, please share love and not hate.

        lololoolo!! Very true I agree, We are all entitled to our own opnions and we all do what we think is right in our way we contribute to the care of others.. Wether it is by sharing online or by gift basket or by any other means.. What we consider highway robbery someone else migh consider it a perfect oppurtunity to do some type of good. Thus I try and remain mutual to everybodies critizism.. I post my moral beliefs and what I do.. same as anyone else.. Doesn’t mean Im looking for a legalistic approach to the situation at hand.. Because even then there many ways to look at legalism… Thus I Feel Bad for mouni and Daniell whom are both entitled to their own opnion and beliefs… Perhaps we just need to respect one anothers perspective and move foward.

    I signed up about 2 weeks ago and I didn’t get a confirmation email so I assumed it didn’t go through. The site was super slow so I figured it wasn’t working, but a couple days ago I received my razor in the mail!
