Happy Friday: Birthday Coupons…
Sent from reader, Tracey:
I wanted to share a “coupon funny.” I celebrated a birthday a few months ago and I got the best present ever….coupons from my 4 year old daughter! Of course, there was a story behind it. My husband told me that he was asking my daughter what they should get me for my birthday. He said that she thought about it for a minute and then said matter-of-factly, “COUPONS! We have to get Mommy coupons because she LOVES coupons!” So they made me some! It was so cute and made me smile. I guess I am teaching her young! 🙂
HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀

LOVE that!
Very cute! My MIL included some coupons in my stocking this year as well, I just about died laughing when I got to the bottom and found them!
I love the way kids think. How cute!
I just celebrated my birthday yesterday and my sister sent me coupons in my card. I’m slowly but surely converting her : )
My 2.5yr old calls them my “poopons.” haha!
So sweet! Probably the best coupons you ever got!
That is so cute! You made me smile! I just came back from Walmart. I needed it!!!
How precious!
Super cute!!! I hope my kids do that for me one day 🙂
The best Christmas Card I recieved this year was from a family friend and she had it stuffed with baby stuff coupons since we are expecting a child in may. I said it was the best christmas gift/card that anyone had ever gotten me. SO awesome. Love the coupon idea.
Funny. My friend said she left her 6 yo son with his dad one Saturday afternoon. The dad said,” What should we do today?”. He told his dad, “Let’s go to Hobby Lobby and use a coupon!”
So sweet!
i love it!!! my two year old and i sit at the table together and cut coupons! i giver her the expired ones, and she uses them when she plays store (with her cash register – thx collin got a deal on it for xmas)!!! love it love it love it!!!
I don’t remember my mom “couponing” when I was young, but we made her coupons just the same! She actually found several unredeemed coupons a few months ago and sent my sisters and I a photo of them. Being that we’re all spread out now, I bet she wishes she could redeem them now more than ever. ♥
Cathrin- Did you put an expiration date on them cause if you didn’t she could still redeem them!!!! Hope she doesn’t read this post or you are going to be flying thousands of miles to sweep mama’s floors LOL!
We used to make them for Mother’s day when we were kids too!
Now, my 6 yo daughter gave me a hug and kiss coupon good for millions and millions of hugs and kisses with no expiration date!
cute, my co-worker gave that to me for my birthday as well 🙂
my daughter told her dad the same thing when she was 3
Adorable.
I love this! Thanks for sharing 🙂
thats so adorably awesome, happy birthday!!
That is so sweet! What a thoughtful gift!
The first words my son ever wrote were on a coupon he made. It said “coopod for fuyr” (coupon for fire), so he could give it to Daddy to coax him into having a fire in the fire place. It’s funny, but until he wrote it, I never realized he was pronouncing coupon with a “d” at the end.
FUNNY! 🙂
very cute story!!!
So sweet!
sweet girl !
thats just precious!!
Happy Birthday Collin! My daughter, Katlyn, made me a sign with all kind of coupon lingo on it…of course hip2save was on there! 🙂 It was so sweet of her..she said all the girls at school made them for each other with their likes/hobbies on them. 🙂
That’s precious! I remember when my kids were little and gave me free cleaning and cooking coupons… I still have 1 of the books ….. Thanks for bringing back a happy memory for me!
