Do these run small, large or true to size?
Most comments said they run a little small. I ordered mine one size up to be safe.
I ordered 2 of these for my students at school. I work in a low income district and any opportunity I have to get inexpensive “cool” clothes for my students, I take. This would be a great, inexpensive gift to donate to a school or Coats for Kids.

They run small. Most things there are form fitting.
its junior sizing i believe and even then they run small in my opinion
I ordered one of these last week. I’m a size 12 and large chested so I got an XL. It fits great and even zips up over “the Girls”!! It is also very warm.
This is only for little girls. I thought it was for adults. Oh well!
Aeropostale sells adult clothing. It’s junior sizing/fit, which means it’s designed for teens. From what I’ve noticed, junior clothing is usually less curvy, most noticeably in the hip area. A lot of times the t-shirts are designed to be a little more form fitting and will curve inwards at the waist. Despite being 28 and having a baby I still have no hips so I find that juniors pants/jeans actually fit me better than most from the women’s department.
I’m confused… where does it say it’s girls sizes? I thought it was for women and I’m getting ready to order.

It’s designed for teens so they divide their clothes up into “girls” and “guys” instead of “mens” and “womens.” It looks like they now sell kids clothing as well but it’s under a different label (PS from Aeropostale). Regular Aeropostale clothign is definitely not kids sizes – I’m 5’6″, 115 lbs and I wear their small or medium.
But it’s not little girls as stated above… right? It’s women’s sizes?
It’s Junior sizes… clothing for teens/adults. If you click on their sizing chart they provide bust/waist/hip measurements to correspond to their sizes.
In general, there are infant, toddler, girls, junior, and women’s sizing. Adult women can wear junior and women’s size clothing, although, as many readers have posted, junior sizes run smaller than women’s sizes. Aeropostale definitely sells junior sizes.

yes! I saw then in store for $20 Tuesday night. They were giving out $10 off a $40 purchace coupons for this weekend too. I think if you can get to the store you will do better, I bet they have dropped in price from the $20.
In NC these are priced at 15 dollars and the sleeveless puffer jackets are 10 dollars. Also there is a $10 off $40 coupon for this weekend to stack it with. As far as size I would also recommend going a size up. I wear a small and even though the small fit I would have preferred just a bit bigger. Unfortunately, the med. was bigger then I needed. To bad they don’t make in between sizes.
It’s not for little girls… but it is junior sizing. For example, I wear a 2 in women’s jeans and a 5 in junior jeans, an xs in women’s and at least a small in juniors. Hope this helps!

i generally wear a L in juniors but i got hollister hoodie and it was snug i think these stores tend to run on the small side.. order 2 sizes up if you want to wear a sweater underneath

P.S. The sizes are juniors’ sizes, and yes, they can run a little small. My oldest stepdaughter likes her clothes snug, so she will be almost about to break out of the Large size at a 38″ bust. But, my youngest, who is only 10, and small for her size, will be able to wear the XSmall, plus have a little room to grow. She is always lamenting that she can’t wear juniors clothing, but she will be able to wear these, even though they will be a little long. 🙂

Yes, you can return in stores. I have never had a problem with returning items. However, want you all to know they do have these in stores. Here in PA they have tons of them and all colors and were $14 yesterday. They also have navy and black pea coats for $14 here in Pa. I was able to purchase 3 bags of items for my daughter for valentines day for $50. They still have a code on retail me not for $10 off of $40 good until Jan 30. That will work online too.
