Does this start today or tomorrow?

    • mel

tomorrow, but you can go to 24 hr stores after midnight to get the sale prices. Not sure if RR deals will print, I’m not a big Walgreens shopper.

  2. MacKenzie

The ad starts tomorrow, on Sunday.

  3. Penny

All my local stores (walgreens, cvs, rite aid and walmart) have pulled all of the excedrine products due to the recent recall!! A representative from the company has no idea when any of these products will be available again, but states if you can find any product with an expiration date of 2015 then you should be ok. Just an F.Y.I. for those of us who use this product!

    • Danielle

sigh. I am DYING waiting for Excedrin to come back. It is the only thing that takes the edge off of my migraines (except for narcotics, but who wants to take those, lol) and all the stores are OUT!! and everything I had, or any of my friends had, lol, was in the recall πŸ™ so sad πŸ™

      • Anonymous

Danielle have you tried Aleve? That works best for my migraines.

      • me

Hi Danielle, are you from saratoga springs?

        • Danielle

nope, I am in NC πŸ™

Sadly, my neurologist gave me prescription strength aleve and it didn’t kill it πŸ™ thanks for the tip though! I think my next option is to make my own excedrin combo! haha, since it is generic aspirin, Tylenol and caffeine, I might just become a pharmacist, lol.

faith- go here https://www.novartis-otc.com/otc/index.html Excedrin, gas-x and a few other OTC have been recalled… it is voluntary, but the stores have pulled EVERYTHING, lol.

          • Bertha

            Hi Danielle,
I also suffer from migraines and no OTC med worked on me except Excedrin, but I recently tried Bayer Advanced and it works. I was so happy. So maybe you’d like to give it a try. HTH

            • Danielle

thanks for the suggestion! I might have to pick that up this week! You guys are so helpful!!

          • Melissa

            Danielle,
I just read an article about people that get migraines. One reason could be a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is needed as much as calcium in our bodies. Not getting a migraine would be an added bonus.

          • Cherie M.

Thank you for sharing this recall – I don’t know how I missed this before. I just checked and we have tons in our stockpile!!! EEKS!

          • Asenath

            Hey Danielle,
Do you have a Sam’s club near you? They sell a migraine formula similar to Excedrin’s that works for me. (Is it a sin to mention a club warehouse here on a couponing website? πŸ™‚ )

      • Faith

        What recall??

        • sarah

Huge recall of alot of over the counter headache meds because they were finding perscription strength pain killers in the bottles mixed in. I don’t have all of the details but i’m sure and local news website will have a link to it because it was all over the news a couple weeks ago.

          • Jennifer

I take BC powders for my migraines. But I got Aleve this week on sale and it does ok.

          • jennifer

The recall has to do with package info.

      • Crescent City Couponer

“Walgreens Migraine Relief Caplets Coated Caplets” have the same formulation as Excedrin, and they’re on sale – two 100 ct. for $7.49.

      • Julie

try cuttin gout artificial sweeteners. I went from 3-4 migraines a week to 1 a year!!! just a thought

      • AngieS

I use generic Excedrin from Wal-Mart and it helps sometimes. My pharmacist made me 2 Ketoprofen plus last week and my 3 day old migraine went away. She stated that there’s really nothing OTC that comes close to Excedrin, except Bayer Back & Body because of the caffeine.

    • Laura

I’m so annoyed they just had awesome coupons for this! Why release coupons right when they are all being pulled off the shelf?! I probably wasted all the ink!

      • Rick

Laura, coupons are printed well in advance, as are the sales papers; the recall is very recent, and they had no way of knowing it was going to happen.

        • A_B

This makes sense now lol I was at CVS trying to use a $1.50 off Excedrin CRT and there was ZERO Excedrin products in the medicine section!!!!!!!

          • Adrianne

I also get migrianes and I take advil and use icyhot on my temples/neck to help circulate the blood (since migiraine cause blood restriction).

  4. Dawn

Thank you for your good work and saving us so much $!! There was a coupon on coupons.com for $1 off 2 Clorox wipe canisters (35ct). I am not sure if that is the right size or if it is still there. I printed it a couple of days ago.

      • Susan S.

THANK YOU soooo much for the link to the Clorox coupon! I like the Clorox wipes & the Clean-up spray the best but it is hard to find good coupons for their products.
I appreciate your taking the time to post the link for others! πŸ™‚

  5. Melissa

Wouldnt you only receive a 5.00 RR for deal scenario #1 od the enfamil and huggies?

    • kathy

Yes, I see it as only $5.00 RR not the $10 shown (originally). Just a typo I’m guessing. πŸ™‚

  6. Rebecca

Can you use the $2 coupon available on the Family Dollar website on Huggies at Walgreens? It says manufacture coupon, but prints Family Dollar on the coupon.

    • rose

I used one Thurs at RA with no beepage or other problems.

      • Rebecca

        Thank you Rose!

    • LL

Yes It says manufacture coupon, so I used mine at CVS with no problem.

  7. Megan

The rogaine deal gets even better! The 49.99 sale price is for the 3-pack, making the MIR $20. $49.99 – 10 mfr q – 10 wag jan book – 20 MIR = $9.99!

  8. Linda

Thanks for your great work on this, Collin!

  9. shell

My walgreens is offering their prescription saver card this month for $5 for individual. With this card I get 10% back on all walgreens/nice products for the entire year.

    • Julie

It really is a good deal! You can also sign up your pets for the prescription plan if they need meds

  10. Crescent City Couponer

The $4/1 Zyrtec coupon is for 40 ct. or higher.

  11. erin

If i do the enmafil deal 3 times (i have 6 $10off coupons) can i use the 3 $5.00 RR together on different purchase? Is there a better use for these? Im new to RR. Thanks! Also, can i combine enfamil check with the deal? Uf i do will it still generate the RR?

    • Allison A

Not exactly sure what you mean but you can use them on three different purchases. Sometimes the cashier will let me divide my items into multiple purchases if I explain I have two of the same register rewards.

    • Bethany

You can use all 3 of the $5 RRs on the same purchase as long as you are not purchasing the item the RRs were printed for and expecting to get another one. Example : Last week they had Thermacare Heatwraps free after $2.50 RR so I purchased 4 of them in separate transactions then used my 4-$2.50RRs to buy 4 Pepsi 12pks in one transaction (they were on sale 4/$10.00 – so I just paid $.65 for tax.)

  12. Sharon

Collin, Why did you highlight the Enfamil deal in red on the CVS ad, but not on the Walgreens ad. It looks like the Walgreens is a better deal, but I am not sure if I am missing something????

  13. Shirley

Collin, I believe Sundown Naturals Melatonin 120 ct $3.99 each is available online only. I could not find it at the stores when you posted it last time so I tried a few zipcodes at walgreens website and it is not available at any of the stores.

  14. Amy

The Nuetrogena Healthy Volume mascara tends to end up more under your eyes than on your eyelashes. Argh! Plenty of other Nuetrogena cosmetics to buy with this deal, though. πŸ™‚

  15. Maya

Is $0.99 Stay Free pads a good price (after coupon)? I have 3 coupons and wonder if I should get these.

    • Judy

Maya–I’m thinking that if you have the Stayfree Buy one Get one Free coupons, then you could buy 2 at 1.99=$3.98-1.99 (BOGO Coupon) and also minus $1 Stayfree coupons from the 1/8 SS would mean you’d pay .99 for two, which would be about .49 cents each–that’s a super great price!

      • Maya

Thanks, Judy. Unfortunately I only have the $1 coupons. πŸ™

      • Tiffany G

Judy i don’t think that deal will work because the BOGOF coupon is technically like having 2 coupons so using the BOGOF q + a $1/1 wouldn’t work. at least that’s my experience with walgreens that they consider a BOGOF q like having 2. hope i made sense πŸ™‚

        • Vanessa

I always use a dollar off coupon with a BOGO coupon- the BOGO doesn’t attach to the bought product, it’s just going towards the free one (or else it would just be a discount on each, and they have to redeem it for the whole price of the free one and write it on the coupon- so that has nothing to do with the one you bought. It’s just a requirement of the coupon to get the free one.

Another example: a coupon that states “buy 1 bag of charcoal and get $0.50 off BBQ sauce” That does not deduct ANY towards the charcoal, so you of course could then use a coupon on the charcoal too.

That’s how I interpret it, at least, and I’ve never had any problems using both and I shop at Target, Walmart, and Walgreens.

    • A_B

Yeah, that is a good deal considering orig. price for the pads are approx. $3/pack!!!!!!!!!

I price matched the $2/pack Dollar General price from their Ad a few wks ago at Walmart .. grabbed 8 packs of Stayfree Ultra Thin (Overnight, 14ct) used 4 BOGO FREE coupons and 4 $1 off coupons, paid $.50 ea after all coupons πŸ˜€ (Walmart wanted to charge $3.48/pack without coupons!!!!!!!) I found an extra BOGO FREE coupon left and I plan to use it for the Wags deal this week πŸ™‚

  16. Leann

So I wanted to do the triaminic cold, Tylenol, gasx/exlax, boost deals but I didn’t get any of those coupons πŸ™

    • Britta

I have some of these coupons, and I will not be using them. If you email me your name and address to brittautterback@gmail.com I can send them to you! πŸ™‚

    • Michelle

I recently found some tylenol and some triaminic coupons in my WAGS on the blinkie machines in front of those products. Worth checking yours, hth!

  17. sheena

i have a question, why did u put $10 in RR back on the enfamil deal, but above it it only says 5RR? im confused?

  18. Jen

Maya that is a really good deal for Stayfree pads .99 can’t beat that price. And they are not all that bad either

    • Debbie

Have you ever read on line all the hilarious/practical things you can make with the thick Stayfree pads?

The funniest I ever heard HAS to be a pair of slippers! LOL!!!

  19. Deborah

one question – on the Thermacare heat pads – are the RR’s for any other merchandise or only for additional purchases of Thermacare? I got in on the last deal (last week, I believe) for this and you can only use those RR’s for Thermacare
    pads….
    Just wondering..

    • Kathy

No, actually if you use the RR’s from Thermacare last week on Thermacare this week you won’t get another RR. RR’s from the same manufacturer will not “roll” (i.e. print one for that “new” transaction). If you are referring to the$2 manufacturer’s coupon (good on packages of 2 or more) that printed from the Catalina machine last week, you should be able to use that on the new deal and still have the new $5 RR to print. HTH!

      • Mary

I bought 2 Thermacare using the internet $3.00 coupon and the $2.00 catalina coupon that I got at Walgreens when they had the single pack free after register reward recently. I received the $5.00 register reward from Thermacare. I bought the Flurry bar also and got a $2.00 RR . I used laffy taffy as fillers and paid with the $6.00 RR from SouthBeach bars last week. I went on to use this $5.00RR from Thermacare to pay for most of my next transaction on Triminic.

    • couponingintherealworld

If I understand your question, RRs can be used on ANY product, it will say something like Thank you from *the name of the company or product* You can NOT use an RR from 1 product9like thermacare) and use it on the SAME product/brand IF you want another RR to print. So you cant use last weeks RR to buy this weeks and still get the RR this week.
You CAN use the RR on, say, the Tylenol deal though!
Unless you got a coupon, which printed from the machine that prints the RRs saying… $ off purchase of 1 Thermacare product, but this is actually a coupon, not an RR.

i hope that gives you enough info to figure out your answer πŸ™‚

      • Sandra

OK, last week when the thermacare trial size deal was running, the “catalina” machine was printing $2 off any Thermacare purchase (qty 2 or more in the box). Would these be considered Walgreen or Manufac. coupons? If Walgreens, could they be combined with manf. coupon and used for this weeks Thermacare deal and still generate the register reward? TIA

        • kathy

The ones that printed from the Catalina machine last week say “manufacturer cpn” on them right on the top next to the expiration date. They can be used with this week’s Thermacare deal and should still generate the RR like any other manufacturer coupon you would use from the newspaper or printed from the internet. Hope that helps. πŸ™‚

    • Kris

Last week there was a RR for $2.50 and also printed a coupon for $2.00 off Thermacare. The RR is good on anything, the coupon only on 2 ct or higher Thermacare. HTH

  20. Kristen

My “$0.55/1 Tostitos Dip with Tortilla Chips purchase coupon found in the 1/1 SS” expires today – not sure if some people have a longer expiration date on theirs.
But the good news is that the “$0.55/1 Lay’s Dips with Potato Chips 10 oz+ purchase coupon found in the 1/22 SS” was actually a $1 coupon for me, so a bag of chips plus dip will be $3 – not bad πŸ™‚

  21. Jennifer

Is there any reason why we couldn’t use the $1/2 Blistex coupon from the 12/11 SS to make the Blistex $0.35 ea?

    • andrea

I was wondering the same thing.

      • c.lu

OMG I was wondering the same…. But also that Collin already does a lot and she might just have missed this coupon

    • amanda

i have this one also is there a limit? new to couponing do u know if RR can only be redeemed @ walgreens?

      • amanda

I have a ton of the .55 and .25 if anyone would like them

        • A_B

I could use $.55 coupons .. what is your e-mail???????

  22. Carol_R

Thanks for the match-ups Collin & all the hard work you do to help us save money.

  23. Alex H

If anyone here has 2 extra coupons of the $3/1 coupons Triaminic found in the 12/4 SS, I would love to get them. With 2 infants, we really need it. We did not get our paper that weekend so I do not have this coupon.
    Thanks.

    • Sue B.

Alex, I have two if u want them. here is my email sueby3@gmail.com send me ur address via my email and I will gladly mail them out to u Monday morning. U should get them in time for the sale.

    • julie

there is a tear pad at walgreens for 2 off!!! hope that helps!!!

      • Alex H

Thank u so much Sue! emailed u my info!

Julie – which section is this tearpad in the store?

        • porsche

The Tear pads at my store were right in front of the triaminic.

        • julie

Alex if you cant find any email me at mrsjmward@yahoo.com
ill send you what i have ok!!!

  24. Angela

There are also coupons for both Nature’s Bounty and Ester-C products in the February All You magazine, PG 82. πŸ™‚

  25. julie

IF anyone has any extra $1 off stayfree coupons please email me at mrsjmward@yahoo.com…I have lots to trade!!!! like those formula coupons lol…thanks!!!!

  26. Danielle

So, went to Walgreens very early this morning with my 8 Enfamil $10 off one tub coupons in hand. Such a great deal! I ended up buying 8 tubs, in 4 different transactions and paying a total of $107.12, got $20 in register rewards, and sending in for $20 in rebates from Enfamil, brings me down to $67.12 total for 8 tubs of formula!! Retails for about $199.72!

    • Nicole

Where did you find the rebate form?

    • Elizabeth

Where did you get the rebate form? Thank you!!

    • Danielle

i got the rebates from a tearpad I found at Jewel about a week ago but it’s not a jewel specific rebate, it’s an enfamil rebate. Can’t find anything online to share though.

  27. amanda

can rr rewards only be redeemed @ walgreens?

    • porsche

Yes. Think of them as walgreens giftcards.

    • Laurie

If you have a Fred Meyer around, they accept them also.

      • Annette

The RR now say, “Redeemable only at Walgreens” now on the bottom of the RR. My Meijer wouldn’t take them the last time I tried and they had before….

    • Bethany

My local Copps Grocery Store accepts them. They scan with no problem because they are manu. coupons but I guess it depends on the store.

  28. Holly

I’ve got some printed Enfamil coupons for $5 off and $10 off of the large can of formula and also a couple of catalina coupons for Enfamil from Walgreens that I’d love to trade with someone for some Similac coupons. If you are interested, please reply to this post with your email address and I will email you for your address. My doctor just changed my son’s formula from Enfamil to Similac! What a bummer! If not, I would have stocked up on Enfamil so I could get the register rewards!

    • jill

i would love your enfamil catalinas! i have some similac checks.

      • Holly

Jill – What is your email address? I’ll send you a list of what I have. I also have someone else interested, so I’ll split up what I have for you two!

        Thanks!

        • jill

          jkleone @ hotmail . com

  29. Katie

Hey, Colin – I think there is a typo / math issue on one of the deals. The Enfamil / Huggies scenario you posted, you said get back $10RR making it $8.48 for both items. You would only get back $5RR, making it $13.48 for both. Still a good deal, but in my head I’ve been trying to figure out how it was only $8 since I saw the post, so I had to come back over here to check πŸ™‚

  30. Danielle

I found the rebate tearoffs at Jewel-Osco last week. It’s not Jewel specific, in for Enfamil, but I can’t find a print off link to share, so look around in stores!

  31. Danielle

Also, to sweeten the Bic Twist or Hybrid razor system deal which is currently buy one for $5.99 and get a $2 register reward; use the BOGO Bic coupon in the S2 of 1/8 and score 2 for $3.99, granted you will only get 1- $2 register reward but at least for the Bic Hybrid system which comes with 6 blades, that’s like 12 razors for $3.99!

  32. lorelei

for the vitamins/walk with walgreens kit deal, is it $30 before the b1g1 sale also? So if i bought 2 ester-c it’d be $14 towards the kit, not 7?

    • Marissa

thats my question ive having too! I don’t have an answer yet tho, i asked my walgreens and they had no clue lol

  33. Stacy

Went to Walgreens today and on the Triaminics there were peelie coupons for $3 off any two Triaminic products and also $1.50 off any any two Triaminic products on the fever reducer for ages 2yr to 11yr old. I used the $3 off 2 and it worked for the 2/10 and $5 in RR so if you didn’t have a coupon you and see if there are any on the product itself.

  34. madison

If anyone has extra boost coupons I would love to take them off of your hands. We drink this stuff every day!

  35. sara

Did anyone else try to use the $3 Thermacare coupons today? They beeped for my cashier and she got the manager. He took them back in the back to check and came back saying they could not take them. He said they have received an email from Thermacare saying they are not valid and not to take them. Luckily I had the $2 coupons with me as well, but not nearly as good of a deal as it would have been with the $3. Did anyone else have this happen?

    • Doe

Regarding the Enfamil Huggies senario #1, I believe the RR would be $5. instead of $10. Is that correct or am I mistaken?

    • A_B

Why wouldnt he accept the $3 off coupon? Because he claims he got an e-mail from Thermacare? Honestly, I dont think he was telling you the truth. He probably thought it was fraudulent or something, considering it is kind of a high-value for Thermacare. (He probably didnt want to offend you.) I would ask to see the e-mail if you return to the store. It’s a legit $3 off coupon and he *should* accept it. It helps to give the source of the coupon when they question it. He could have logged onto their website to verify it if he wanted to.

  36. couponingintherealworld

Thanks Collin for your awesome match ups! they make couponing SO much easier!

I hope this is ok to share, but I have put together scenarios that you can use to get $37.94 in products for just $4.96! This is assuming you have no RRs or GCs to start with, great for New Walgreens shoppers!

Just click my name above and scroll down or click Walgreens to see the scenarios πŸ™‚ Hope this is Helpful!

  37. Amy ODonell

Buy 2 Tampax pearl regular 20 ct. @ $5.70each. Buy one get one half off = $8.69. Less 2 $2/1 Tampax pearl from the 1/1 PG = $4.69 or $2.35 each. Not bad for the pearl since the original cardboard is $2.21 each with this week’s deal.

    • Amy ODonell

Sorry, 5.79 each originally. The rest of the math is right.

  38. KatSlay

The .5 oz Cortaid is now stocked back in the Walgreens close to my house. There is an in-store coupon for $2 and the newspaper coupon for $3 from a few weeks ago. The shelf price is $3.99, making this a better than free!

  39. Leann

Hey my crystal light was on clearance for 0.87 cent today and I bought 3 in one transaction and got back a $1.50 RR! Must be an unadvertised deal !?

  40. Lisa

CortIaid was for .5 oz 4.29 after qs Free then 1 oz was 6.49, as to the melatonin vitamins sundown posted prev quest right no 120 ct n stores. I bought 2 osteo bios $19.99 ea. bogo used (2) $7 qs the sundown extra strength melatonin $7.99 used (2) $1 qs, (2) b12s that were 120 ct 7.99 used 2 $2 qs total $36 b4 qs only $16 after & got free band, not bad for appx $72 n vitamins free kit. Note the sundown melatonin is extra strength it’s awesome to sleep no am hangover & of course b12 more energy for the 3 ks lol kids, kleaning, couponing lol. Note they have I think d variety 5.99 but wanted something I’d use.

    • Marissa

so do you have to pay 30$ AFTER the B1G1 sale? you can’t just get the oseo bios and have that be 40$? And also what was in the walking kit? THANKS!

  41. Lisa

Not the melatonin it’s whatever Colin has posted as free told only avlb online same w the berry something posted. At least she tried.. Sometimes just big dif. On line & store. Also surprised no deal together for the kit. ;(. Too many choices & dif. Needs. Also note on osteo bio new variety has lox in in it quicker acting 7 day results supposedly.

  42. Brooke

Hi! I did the Cortaid deal yesterday and was actually able to make it a money maker! My store (in Easton, MA) had them priced at $4.29 for the .5 ounce. Headaches can be caused by many things that you eat/drink and your body is sensitive (not allergic) to. Try watching what you have drank/ate before the headaches come on or see a chiropractor.

East Coast FYI – in some WAGS in CT, the Advil PM has an instant $2/1 peelie. Also, there is a tear pad of $2/1 on Triaminic Fever Reducer right by the product. In case you didn’t get/save the coupons needed or would like to stock up. I’m new here with you guys, so maybe nobody is in this area – but just in case.
Also, Brach’s Candy Corn is on clearance for .05 a bag – awesome filler.
