Thanks sooo much for the alert on the Target $1. Paper Towel Q!
I went yesterday at lunch and brought back 9 rolls! FREE FREE FREE

    • laura

This is why the rest of us go and they have 0 on the shelf. I wish others would only take 3/4 that way we can all get in on the deal.

      • Melissa

exactly. 🙁 i’ve also been to walmart 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks, shelf is cleared. every. time. ugh.

      • dani

I agree with you the Target q state one per transaction and it is set to only allow 2 prints to computer this is why cashiers question coupons if people played by the rules there would be less problems

      • Shanna

Fingers crossed there are some when I get there later. My bf went to look at his Target yesterday and none left 🙁

      • spinos1

I’m with Laura,, by the time I get to the store the shelves are always empty.

      • Maria Day

I agree with all as a matter of fact when I started couponing I wondered why people where so over zealous to wipe the shelfs.. Now what I do is I take one or two items at the most 3.. But really ! Take them all down that is why so many stores don’t re-stock there shelfs because they think couponers are just out to get the free stuff.

        • Plumaria

i get frustrated too that there are none on shelf, but, maybe they buy for family’s in need? if that’s the case, then it’s okay. so I set it at that, no more frustratation. Although I would love to grab a few but eh, it’s 1st come 1st serve.

    • Teresa

how did you get 9 we r only allowed 2 internet coupons right ?

      • Kami

If you have multiple computers you can get two q’s per computer. We have four computers so we can get 8q’s. On another note at my Target in VA they still had two shelves completely stocked, so I took my eight and bought a block of market pantry cheese( with a q of course)and paid 1.24 oop. I asked my cashier what she would prefer, she wanted to do it all in one transaction. She said it was easier that way.

        • Shanna

What part of VA?? I’m in Richmond

          • Danielle

Me too Shanna. I’m near Chester. On another note have you been able to find any of the good deals at Wal-Mart? The shelves are always empty when I go.

          • Kami

I live in the Hampton Roads area ( Chesapeake) VA. It’s a nice area, I have 4 Walmarts and three Targets within 10 min of my house. I don’t even want to start counting drug stores!! 😉 But yes I have found good deals at Walmart especially on Turkey and Deer ammo and hunting stuff for the hubby. At Target today they had two person Coleman tent’s on clearance for 12.98, and Captains chairs on clearance for 5.08. Probbably not the type of deals your asking about, but if your hubbys are into hunting it’s really good deals compared to regular price. Well that and the amount of money we save on meat is really nice. 😉

      • Maria Day

Good question I print one on mine and it automatically blocks me! It is illegal to replicate a coupons at home.. Then you have people like me that read the fine print and try and follow the rules but you get people that scam and do other things and it is sad that is why my manager at HEB says that he has to be constantly on the look out for SCAMMERS.

        • Plumaria

how is that a scam when each coupon has different numberings on them? Each computer can print 2 coupons. N each one of the two has differently endings.

    • Joy

Although I partly agree with the replies here as Ive been to all of the stores this week and everything was cleared already I have to ask. With all of these shows and coupon blogs stressing the importance of stockpiling, how can you question this? Isn’t this what you’re supposed to do? Hey, no one leaves the shelf stocked for me so if Im there with enough coupons and that state 1 per purchase and a full shelf Im legally buying as many as I can.

      • Plumaria

I agree. LOL. i’ve started just a month ago on couponing & the last 2 weeks stopped because shelf always empty. But the way I see it, if they need it more or have the space, go for it, as long as they are not selling it at a flea market or Swap mEET TO make money off it. I do coupons because my Grandma suffered a stroke & we are deep in the hole, so every little pennies count for me, & if those who cleared shelf are in more need, then I should get frustrated.

        • Plumaria

I meant shouldn’t get frustrated. its just a waste of my time. LOL

  2. Lisa

I must be blind, b/c I have looked three times and can’t find the paper towel Q? Is it gone?

    • Melissa

same here….i didn’t see it yesterday either??

      • Sarah

The coupon was there on Sunday night, but I checked today and the coupon is no longer available for that offer 🙁

      • mel

its gone now. I was only able to get 1 print, when I went back around clicking for another set, I couldn’t find it.

Anway, I just got back from a quick trip. LOTS of kids clearance, as much as 75% off! I got my oldest son a much needed windbreaker, it was marked $7.48, but scanned $4.48 (reg price $14.99!!) Didn’t have too much time to clothes shop, b/c I had to get back home in time for my sister to drop off her dd.

Alexia sweet potato fries (and other assorted Alexia) still on TPC $3.09, so only $1.09 after the $1 Target coupon and $1 manuf IP coupon.

Healthy Choice is a good deal with the Buy4G1 Free in store deal Plus use the Target Buy3, Get Top Chef Healthy Choice meal Free IP. The 100% natural line is $1.89, so buy 4 + 1 $2.25 Top Chef variety. There are $1/2 IPs for the 100% natural on the healthy choice site. Works out –
        7.56 + 2.25 = 9.81
        – $1.89 store sale
        – $2.25 IP
        – $2 for the 2 $1/2 man. Ips
        = 3.67 (.73 each)

The UP&UP dryer sheets, even though they are tagged $1.36, actually scanned $1.37
One other deal I got was Chef Boyardee cans are .82 and my son brought home some .50 coupons from school (It was .50 of Chef Boyardee, Healthy Choice, Hunts and something else, Banquet I think) so those came to .32 each.

All in all a good day for a quick 30 minute trip!

  3. Heather from Ohio

Just came from Target and there are a TON of shoes, boots & slippers on clearance. Bought my 2 year old some super cute boots for $6 (reg. $22!!) and dress shoes for $5 (reg. $18!!). Lots more in all kid’s and women’s sizes. (didn’t check the men’s) Might be worth a check at your local store! They are making way for spring styles here. (Columbus, OH area) Lots of cute women’s clothes on clearance too. 🙂

    • Sara

Yes! I just happened to walk by the shoe area and saw the 70% sign! Can’t beat those shoe prices! I got 4 pairs of shoes for $20 (with WA tax!).

  4. animity

In a month the refried bean price has gone from .85 a can to 1.09 (not sale prices). How sad…

  5. Sarah

The Hunt’s tomatoes website coupon does not work. Keep telling me I have the wrong password when I just changed it and resigned in.

  6. Sarah

Thank you for posting these Collin. I always love a great TP deal. And I really love Angel Soft! I truly appreciate all your hard work from the bottom of my heart! I tell everyone about your site. Everyone deserves a better tomorrow. I have that thanks to you. Have a wonderful day! 😊

  7. BRENDA

can we use the buy one get one free skinny cow box with the new target $3.00 off two boxes of skinny cow box

    • Jennifer

      Hi Brenda,

This worked perfectly for me on Sunday. The register didn’t beep at all.

      • mel

its supposed to be against the Target coupon policy, per totallytarget. I didn’t know that at the time, but using the $3/2 with the BOGO worked when I went Sunday. The bogo did beep for me, but only for the cashier to enter the price, which has a max value of $3.48. She almost put in $3.99 [which is the shelf price] until I told her it was too much.
Anyway, the policy is you can’t use a Target coupon off 2 items, if 1 item is made free using a manuf coupon. Since the BOGO has a max value of $3.48 and I’m not truly getting the 2nd item free, I feel its ok to use it with the $3/2 since I’m still paying .50 for the 2nd box, KWIM?
and this cashier always scrutinizes my coupons when I get in her line, and didn’t say a peep about the stacking.

  8. Sara

I was going to say as well, that there are a bunch of really good shoe clearances going on. 70% off. I got some $6 toddler girl boots, $3 pair of women’s shoes, $4 pair of toddler boys shoes. Take your shoes to one of the self scanner as some of my shoes were even cheaper than the price tag stated!

  9. Gwen

Don’t kill the messenger here! Target allows you to print as many as four on each computer but states one per transaction. THis is ridiculous and it is the responsibility of Target to remove the contridictions from their coupons and coupon policy to allow for the correct restrictions to be applied. If I can get 9 coupons for 9 free paper towels, I am going to take them.I don’t care if you think I should only have 1-2-3 or 4. Target needs to take care of this and until they do….take it up with them.

    • Shayla

that’s interesting because my computer only allows 2 per computer; however, I have access to 4 computers (2 of my own, 2 at my in-laws) and I do take advantage of all 8 when I can. However, I too understand the frustration of shelve clearing. Good news is that the expiration date is a month out so you would hope that they would get more in, or if on sale, just get a raincheck =)

  10. Kristin Leigh

Loving the shoe clearance sales at Target! I got 3 pair of womens Converse shoes, a pair of green froggy rainboots for my bubba(my son lol), 2 super cute pairs of womens flats all for $30 plus tax. 😀 . . .Target also has a TON of converse jeans in the guy section for $15.68, so if you printed the Target Converse apparel coupon, the pants will only be $10.68! I didn’t print it, went to look for it Sunday & it was already gone! :/ . . . Playtex 18-Hour bras for $5.68 in a ton of sizes, knee-high Xhilaration socks for $1, Dove shampoo & conditoner combo packs(25.4oz) for $3.98 and there was a $1.50 printable coupon from about a week ago, I think you can stack it with the Dove Target coupon. I <3 Target! (:

  11. candice

In the “bodega” section, Target has men’s “Bic Flex 4” razors packaged with 2 in a pack. So I tried the buy one get one free bic coupon and it worked! I got 4 packs of mens razors for around 8 dollars! Also if anyone uses the neutrogena face wash, it is packaged with 2 containers. It is on sale for 8.99 but there was a 1.50 coupon a couple weeks ago making it only 7.50 for 2. They are normally 6.50 a piece.

  12. Julie

I tried to use the coupon today on the 35 count dryer sheets and they wouldn’t let me. The manager said it was considered trial size. Anyone else have that problem?

    • Pamela

How on earth is 35 loads of laundry a trial???? That’s just nuts.

    • Crescent City Couponer

Call the customer service number 800-591-3869.

    • Shayla

yes, I just got back and the coupon would not go through on the 35-ct w/o them forcing it. My cashier was skeptical but she pushed it through once I showed her what I was buying. I was all ready to go over to CS if it wouldn’t allow because although the picture was of the detergent, the wording was “any laundry care”.

  13. liz

I can’t seem to get the Hunt coupon to work; it says I’ve reached my coupon limit but I’ve never even been to that site before!

    • Christie

I got the same thing. 🙁

You have reached your limit of 3 coupons through Hunt’s® Signature Recipe Collection™ Rewards.

We hope you and your family enjoyed the great taste of the recipes in our new collection, and thanks for trying them!

  14. Heather

I scored 1 liter pantene on clearance at my target (michigan) for $3.74!! I bought a shampoo and condition for that price and used my $3/2 coupon making it $4.48 for both~ good deal 🙂 It was originally $7.49 a piece! I had never even seen the 1 liter pump pantene!! 🙂

  15. Christie

Prices must vary on the Up & Up Throat Spray. It was $2.84 at my store, and that appears to be a regular price according to the receipt (no arrow pointing down next to it like you see next to items on sale). My ad has the cold/flu relief liquid pictured and then says “other up & up cough and cold items available” but doesn’t say on sale. There was a sign in front of the price to catch your attention but I’m willing to bet it was the same as the regular price. Getting it for $1.84, using the coupon, still seems like a decent deal considering we have none at home.

  16. Marie

Sorry if this was already answered…But I am new to couponing and really confused. lol

When the Target coupon says “Limit one coupon or offer per guest” Does that mean 1 Target coupon per product? (Which totally makes sense) OR does it mean 1 LIKE Target Coupon PER TRANSACTION? I will follow whatever the rules are, but I didn’t want to do multiple transactions if it’s not necessary. But if it is, then that is what I will do. Thanks!

Oh also, the Target Q says “Coupon value may not exceed value of item purchased” So does that mean you CAN’T use a $1/1 coupon (for example) for an item that costs less than $1? Or does that just mean that they will adjust the coupon down to give you the item for free, and just not give you any overage?

Thanks again for all your help! Sorry again if these were questions were just answered. I really appreciate it!!

    • Shayla

To answer your question…just depends on your cashier. I’m lucky that my cashiers rather bundle everything than make me do separate transactions (because I sometimes have upwards of 8 like Target coupons thanks to family and friends). They allow 1 Target coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon per items, as long as all requirements are meet (in a case where you are required to buy 2, then you must buy 2 per coupon).

As for the Target coupon and overage, the system will automatically adjust to price of the item (ie: paper towels for $.99, $1 Target coupon will adjust to $.99). For manufacturer coupons, it just depends; sometimes the system adjust, sometimes it does not (I call that lucky day for me if it doesn’t since their system is pretty good at it normally).

I actually have had really good experience shopping at Target with coupons, but it could be my area. Welcome to the wild and crazy world of couponing…it’s exelerating at times (for the few times it is frustrating, stick with it; you’ll get it!)
