Do you know what theaters in Jacksonville will be showing this movie? It’s kinda confusing.
I clicked on the participating theater link and at the top I entered my zip code and it showed me the 3 area theaters in my area. Make sure the promo code is in the box next to the zip code. Good luck.
What is the promo code? Maybe that’s my first problem (aside from user error)
It gives you the option to continue as a guest and then will show you the theaters. :0)
Kinda difficult to know if your theatre is participating…. this is what I got when I did a search…
Note: This is only a default listing of participating theaters. For the most accurate list of participating theaters for the promotion you have participated in, enter the specific promo code that is printed on your movie certificate.
Right, that’s why I’m slightly hesitant. I’m not a big fan of having to buy something first before you can learn how to use it….you know?
Can’t wait!! This is an awesome series of books if you’re looking for something light and funny.
I LOVE the book series that this movie is based on! EEK!
I know, I read maybe 7 of these books and they’re a lot of fun. 🙂
Can’t wait to see the movie, I love the Stephanie Plum series! These books are laugh out loud funny! i hope the movie does the book justice!
These books are lighthearted fun and easy to get into. I’m looking forward to the movies 🙂
Matinee movie tickets are cheaper than $6 in my area so may not be the best deal for everyone…
you can also sign in as guest without a promo code to find participating theaters
You can, but it’s wonky. It doesn’t always show the same theaters each time. Plus, if you change the dates, then theaters appear and drop off.
Not a good sign that they’re trying to fill theaters before this is even out…Poor Katherine Heigl can’t get it right these days.
I agree on this one. She keeps cranking out the same role, haven’t really seen her do anything different yet.
I have to agree. As a huge fan of Evanovich (including getting her to sign a copy for my best friend and her husband’s wedding with well wishes!) I love love love the series. However as a filmmaker, I am wondering what kind of deal they made with her for the rights. Heigal is a mediocore actress at best, and is also producing this project (eeek!) I am glad that I got this groupon!
Don’t hold me to this but I think I read somewhere ( I get her monthly newsletter I might of read it there) she sold the rights some time ago & didn’t have a say on the casting. I still really want to see this but I am unsure in some of the people that were cast as well.
The two theaters in my area that accept this aren’t going to be playing this movie…That stinks because I want to see this movie.
I would like to order through Ebates because Groupon has 4% cash back, but when I go through there I can’t find where to order the movie tickets-Help!
I am wondering if anyone has experience using Hollywood Movie Money before? I use Fandango all the time (where you print out the ticket for a specific showing in advance) and I’m wondering how this differs or if anyone ever has trouble redeeming them.
I just purchased 2 Hollywood Movie Money certificates through this Groupon deal. The fine print states that the certificates are valid at any showing of this movie including those designated as “no coupons, no passes” in local theater listing guides. They expire on 3/31/12 or when the movie is no longer in theaters, whichever comes first. The promo code to search for participating theaters is 38659. I do not want to go to a matinee so this turns out to be a good deal for me as I spent $12 through Groupon for two certificates and would have spent $20 for two tickets at my local theater to go to an evening showing.
This is only a good deal if you don’t go to the matinees. A lot of movie theaters are cheaper than $6.00 a ticket. Only a great deal if you’re going in the evening.
Where I live, the cheapest matinee I know of is $8.50, so I would say this is a good deal!
Thanks! This deals is great for us this weekend. I received an email from Groupon, that I can get a $20 credit if someone signs up and buys a Groupon today using my link. I would really appreciate it! https://click.e.groupon.com/?qs=e0c312d847446c2a5910eb3061d86fc090236fb7d72d6baf68a4d23575eeeb8d44813b5b5e1edbe8
Is anyone else having a problem activating the code for the tickets?
YES! I am having trouble redeeming them! I both called and emailed HOLLYWOOD MOVIE MONEY but have not heard back from them. I am really irritated because I had to pay to see the movie out of my own pocket!
My local movie ticket prices are cheaper than this- not a good deal.
Hollywood Movie Monew website is down. Any other way to use this coupons?
I bought the two tickets for one for the money and I just tried to redeem them. The first one went through just fine but the second one did not. The Regal theater I am trying to use these tickets at told me to wait 24 to 48 hours to use the code again but I already redeemed one of the codes for a ticket and so I am having to pay out of pocket! I am really irrirated. I paid 12 dollars for two tickets but only got one and now I have to pay an extra $11 dollars out of my pocket for a 3rd ticket. so a grand total of 23 dollars! I SHOULD HAVE JUST PAID OUT OF POCKET AND NOT BOTHERED WITH THIS STUPID ONLINE GROUPON!
