Happy Friday: Announcing Baby With a Coupon!
Sent from reader, Christine:
I’m pregnant with baby #4 and well I always like to tell our family in a unique and creative way! I’m the couponer of the family and I thought what better way to tell our parents than with a COUPON! I’m 9 weeks and due in August! Happy Friday!

Congrats Christine! How creative! We are adopting a 7 year old special needs boy from China and LOVE your awesome announcement! 🙂 If you don;t mind, I would love to borrow your creative idea for our announcement! Can you tell me how you created it? 🙂
awww congrats! Prayers and blessings to you and your extended family!
How to make:
1. google image the word “coupon”, copy and save into Paint (or any other editing program)- it should just be the outline of the coupon
2. google image the word “barcode”, copy, save, and paste onto the coupon (add your own numbers)
3. Add 2 rectangles to the top for the “expiration date”
4. Create and have fun with it!
Did that make sense?
Thank you ever so much, Christine for sharing your creativity – how fun! We are calling him Christian and he is indeed a gift from God! 🙂
Thrilled for you too! 🙂
awww thats awesome! My 2nd son is Cristian (said Christian)! Keep me posted on how everything goes!
Off topic, but as the parent of a child with disabilities myself and an ESE Advisory Board Member, I have to comment! First off, congrats on your adoption, Shirley Yeo! I know you are new to the world of special needs, so I just wanted to mention that when you speak of your son or anyone else with any sort of condition, be sure to use “person first” language. For example, instead of “special needs” child, you would say, “my son with special needs.” The same would go in the adult world! You would never say, “My cancer cousin”, right? 🙂 It is all about putting the person before the disability and to not let it define them as a person.
Wow! Congrads! What a neat way to announce! Best Wishes!
Happy news!! Congrats to u and your family!!!
Congrats! We just had our first one two weeks ago! 🙂

Is that not adorable….. Congratulations….
Congrats!! I’m pregnant with baby #2 and I’m actually due 6 days before you. We will have to enjoy the long hot summers together. I know mine will be a hot one b/c I’m in Ohio.
Congratulations!!! My son was born Aug 27 last year and my oldest was Aug 11. I love August birthdays!
Congratulations!
congrats!!!!!! cute announcement.
Congratulations! Very cute announcement! I am 9 weeks myself, due Sept 1 🙂 We have one son who is 3 now, we are all so excited!
Congrats! I’m pregnant as well with baby #2 and he’s due any day now. I will pray that you have a girl because now that I’m going to have one of each, I think it’ll be interesting to see the differences between the two. Plus, boys LOVE protecting their sisters, younger or older.
awww hope you have a quick and easy delivery! yes, the boys need a sister to protect : )
On a separate note, if anyone here is looking for cheap or even free formula, I suggest signing up for Enfamil and Gerber. With Enfamil, they sent me two full samples of their newborn and infant powdered formula and Gerber sent me two “checks” that I could use at any retailer for any sized formula (one for $13.25 and another for $2.50) so I ended up getting some from Kroger for about $2 OOP. Not a bad deal.
That is the cutest thing ever!!!!!! congrats!!!!!!
Congrats! I’m 13 weeks (with #3) and have been looking for lots of baby goodies to stock up on! 🙂
Congrats on the baby – that is such a creative way to announce the birth – really cute!
Congratulations! What a darling announcement for your new baby. I know you’ll love having 4- it’s a great number for a family.
Omgoodness! What an absolutely clever idea! That’s very creative Christine. Happy Gestating!
What a cute idea….might have to use that for the next one!
Yay!! Congrats! It’s so wonderful to hear families having lots of kids! Just wondeful!!! Your kids will love having a lot of siblings!! God Bless your family!!
