If you are a newbie to Walgreens shopping, make sure to check out my Walgreens Store guide. …And if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.

Also, as most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy. You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

    • Deneen

my paper didn’t have them last week, I called & complained & they mailed them to me.

    Love the great match-ups!
I have put together a scenario for Walgreen’s 92%savings: $65.15 in products for $5.16 if anyone is looking for ideas! just click my name 🙂

  3. KrazyCouponDude

Be sure to look for $4 peelies for the Blink

  4. Tiffany

I have some high value Gerber Good Start formula coupons, some up to $11.50 off (as well as tons of others you may be searching for) that I would love to trade for a couple of the Enfamil $10 printables if anyone has them. I have a 5 1/2 week old preemie who needs the special (expensive) Preemie formula! Thank you in advance! Email me! valdezmt at gmail dot com.

Coq10 as others stated does NOT End up being price rntioned. As others mentioned yesterday WAGS book only takes off for one $7. Great price still but don’t want anyone disappointed or wout enough dinero. I did deal early am.

    • mday

No I have copy of my reciept and this what it states
      for two Coq 10 Unbiq.
      29.99
      29.99
      7.00-coupon
      7.00-coupon
14.00-Walgreens coupon (automatically enters twice into the system for 2/ Coq Unbiq.)
22.99- Walgreens buy one get one free!
      total 8.99 for 2 or 4.50 each..
Still not bad considering it is a high price item and you are getting it for 4.50 eac.

I realize Collins came out to 1.99 eac. but I’m thinking regionally the prices on products just are not the same..

      • Rene'

All is not lost…The COQ10 has a $10 MIR at Walgreens, it’s deal #7 in the back of the coupon book. Limit one.

        • Rene'

Whoops- sorry, that rebate is a different brand. : (

      • Helen

Yes it took off both Wags coupons but it then only gave you $22.99 off the second one. Not $29.99. So it comes out to the same thing as if it had given you the full $29.99 off the second one but didn’t take the Wags coupon.

        • mday

… I see your point.. Im just approaching from a diffrent perspective I guess. All I see is a 29.99 product that I paid for only 4.00ea so Im not to down about it… I can understand from were you are coming from… However, that be said, on a normal basis I would not even think of purchasing this product because of the high cost..So that fact that I made minimal investment is GREAT!!!!!

          • gail

I am so glad to see that this didn’t just happen to me.. I had the exact same thing happen and was not too happy about it,
since the coupon is supposed to be taken off after the sale price.. but as the clerk did mention.. it can not be an overage.. with that said.. the Walgreens coupon did take off the total 14 dollars.. but what i am thinking is i just wasted a 7 dollar manufact.. coupon.. because i would have gotten the same price without using it:(.. so i did this twice so i lost 14 dollars in coupons:((

  6. Carissa @ FindsForFriends

Where did the Snapple deal go?

  7. Smellyann

If anyone wants a $7 Co Q-10 Ubiquinol MQ from the RP, email me. I’m not going to try this deal. I’m especially interested in a trade for the Pfizer MIR. Thanks!
melanie_odette at yahoo dot com 🙂

  8. Becky

Tried my WAGS last night and the BOGO for Ubiquinol does not take off $29.99…takes off $22.99, asked mgr about it, he said since it was a $7 Q, they would only take the price minus Q off of total….was so hoping to get that deal 🙁

    • mday

Well you would only be paying a 4.00 difference from what Collin stated. So it is still not a bad deal!!!!

  9. mday

Well I went yesterday to my Wonderful exciting Walgreens in San Marcos Texas… It was a sheer nightmare the clerk did not want to take my coupons because it did not look like the pictures ????? Then he said since the items were on Sale anyways, I shouldn’t bother using the coupons????? I had to force him to use the coupons which he began to argue with me.. The manager then came after he notice a long line and the clerk screaming at me!!! He told him to just enter the coupon codes and stop arguing with the customer.. But he began argueing with the Manager????? I asked the manager to kindly redo the charges because they wer wrong and they wanted me to pay 15.00.. The manager refused at first.. Then I told him I will pay but I will come back and request a meeting with the district manager.. So he took a look at receipt and told the clerk he didn’t understand what the heck he hand done, which in turn the clerk blamed me?????
Finally I was moved to the cosmetic counter were a very nice lady helped me with the help of the overlooking Manager. When it was all said and done I spent $3.92.. I informed the manager that I always had difficulty here in this particular store with regards to coupons he said, that I needed to go to the cosmetic department so I wouldn’t hold the line???????No apology was done.. I then informed him that it didn’t matter were I went it was always difficult.. I left after being there 2hrs. Im glad my receipt had the Survey on it.. I will be using it.. Oh by the way I did this transaction and I also had a HECK of a time explaining to the Manager how it workded. for the Nature Bounty buy one get one free using Walgreens coupons and manufactured coupons… It was a nightmare…

The guy in back of the line said he just wanted cigarettes and the Manager was so rude.. I told the manager I was willing to wait so he could tend to his customers. He told the guy behind me that if he wanted cigarettes he just had to wait!!!!

What a nightmare!!!!! I felt so bad for the guy…!!!
Really do they think that is the only store in town!!!!!

wow that totally stinmks sorry u had such a bad expernce we are not suppose to treat the cutumers like that at all period ive been with walgreens for 8 years if i ever did that i wouldnt have a job maybe u can find a better store

    • Tee

Sorry you had another bad experience at the rr12 store. The morning cosmetic ladys name is carol, she is usually nice and helpful. Always coupon at the cosmetic counter.

      • mday

Thank YOU TEE, I did finally speak to a female manager whom showed some concerned and she did recommend I use Carol and or Victoria at the cosmetic counter… I did get their schedules LOLLOOLO… As many times as I have been there didn’t want another incident 🙂

  10. cathy

I’ve always buy at least 3 newspapers from the gas station near my house, but for the past 3 weeks someone is stealing the coupons inserts. I have notified the morning cashier about the issue but it seems its not a priority to them. So I stopped purchasing newspapers all together and started using online coupon clipping service to get coupons. Its sad to see people would go that low to steal coupons!

    • mday

You kow that you speak of that I was wondering when I buy my San Marcos newspaper why the RD is not in there inserts.. I thought they stopped carrying that but now that you mentioned it I will try another store…

  11. Kiki

You can also use the $1/2 Mars coupon in the 1/29 RP to score 2 FREE Snickers Creme Hearts at Walgreen’s, since the Snickers Creme Hearts (1.0 oz size) are on an unadvertised sale for .50 each. I just picked up 4 for FREE. WOOT!!

  12. Bethany

For the Emerald Nuts – the Walgreens $1.00 coupon is only good for the almonds. I tried for the cashews this morning and it doesn’t work. Although they are still only $2.00 a container WYB 2 with the $1.50 manu. coupon which is still good!

Thanks for all your hard work!!!

    • LIzR

Yep.. I purchased 1 almond & 1 cashew the coupon book only took off .50 for the almonds BUT I didn’t mind it’s not a bad deal for quality nuts 🙂

  13. peacockfamily05

My walgreens had $4 peelies on the Blink tears… so I paid $4 and got $8 ECBS… yay!!!

  14. Beverly

I just bought the Buy 2 Nature’s Bounty CoQ-10 Ubiquinol, BOGO for 29.00 and used the 2 manufacturers coupons for 7.00 each, plus the Walgreens coupon for 7.00 each and it would only take the 7.00 off for the Walgreens coupon. The salesperson said it would only take it off once, because one was free. I have tried to find the policy for Walgreens on the BOGO and using their coupons, but can’t. Does anyone know where it is, so I can go back to the manager?

    • mday

No sorry because it was showing up on the register receipt as 14.00 was he manually going in and changing it? However if you are not satisfied return it.. That is what I do.. NO sense in keeping something you don’t feel comfortable with.. At least that is what I do.

    • mymaya

Hi Beverly, I had exactly the same problem today. I was under the impression that you are allowed to use 2 manufacturers coupons + a instant value Walgreens coupon on B1G1 items but apparently it is NOT so. On Nature Bounty CoQ10 it deducted $14 from the Walgreens coupon (you can present only 1 instant coupon but it WILL deduct double on B1G1) but although the cashier scanned both manufacturers coupons ($14 value) only 1 was accepted. I was told by the manager that on B1G1 you can only use 1 manufacturer coupon! I called the corporate headquarters and was told the same 🙁

  15. Maezy

    🙂

  16. anna

Am I missing something here? Please help!!! I want to get the Emerald nuts this week, but I don’t see the 1/2 coupon in the Feb wags booklet. All I see is the $1/2 planters peanuts coupon.

    • mday

No I couldn’t find it either… As a matter of fact I thought the same thing you did and Im in Texas.. Perhaps it is regional… BUt I only found the Planters…

    • coachess

In the table of contents, it is listed as Kettle or Emerald. It is on page 8 in mine.

  17. Janelle

Has anyone else tried to do the Chapstick deal? I tried to do it today but the Walgreens coupong would not scan for me. The lady said it had to match the picture and was only for the New Chapstick, 365 Sheild. I stated the coupon says $1 off Chapstick Lip care does not state that it is specific to that chapstick 🙁

    • mday

I did I think what I remember is they had to manually enter the Walgreens coupon because it would not go with the Chapstick.. The cashier said i got the wrong chapstick but after checking he indicated that it was not registering correctly.. In addition to that I had a coupon for .25 off plus the 1.00 from walgreens. Anyways it did work but he put it manually…

      • Janelle

Thanks, I might go try again. I also have the .25 off MFC from last month and was hoping to get free chapstick!

    • Nicolle

I had the same issue. 🙁 so tired of being more informed than the cashiers about how their store works.

      • Dawn

I had the same issue and the cashier refused to even enter it manually. I was on my lunch break and didn’t have time to ask for the manager.

  18. danielle

got some of the chap stick today and the walgreens coupon would NOT work on the 1.79 stuff, just kept beeping. But had a very nice cashier who checked with the mgr and price adjusted them, bad part is she priced them at .79 each and then it took the 50% so it only took .40 off, but we only got them to give to a local charity that is asking for them, so not so bad but more than .35

  19. Babzi

There is no coupon in the booklet for the Emerald nuts. The lady used the Planters one and it worked 🙂

  20. Melisa

Just a head’s up on the printable coupon for blink tears – it is printing the half page ad first before the coupon! No way to cancel and it takes a LOT of ink.

  21. yasminew

Can you keep rolling over Registar Rewards from week to week or is this not allowed??

    • gail

Yes, you can.. as long as they don’t expire.. I tend to use mine the next week anyway.. so i don’t accidentally use them on the same item and risk not getting my next reward.. I have been in a hurry before and messed myself up.. and sometimes finding fillers to use so i can use my rr is annoying.. and i almost always have a coupon for something..(and u can only use 1 coupon:()) I have used my rr to get my milk. So therefore,, free milk:))

      • yasminew

I just tried and the women manually put the RR in and i did not recieve my RR for the product i purchased and i asked why she told me that they have a new system and its to prevent coupon fraud and if you dont pay and use a RR for the entire cost of your purchase you wont get another RR for the new product it wasnt the same product. I went to another place last week and they scanned the10 RR rewards and same scenorio i did not pay out of pocket and i did get the 10 RR with no problem. So i am confused is it that each store has separate rules??

  22. gail

I am so glad to see that this didn’t just happen to me.. I had the exact same thing happen and was not too happy about it,
since the coupon is supposed to be taken off after the sale price.. but as the clerk did mention.. it can not be an overage.. with that said.. the Walgreens coupon did take off the total 14 dollars.. but what i am thinking is i just wasted a 7 dollar manufact.. coupon.. because i would have gotten the same price without using it:(.. so i did this twice so i lost 14 dollars in coupons:((….(O.k. So just looked up Walgreens coupon policy..here it is for the b1g1 ) When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.

    • gail

So my thoughts are.. it says the net price can not be below zero.. So i am thinking we should be able to do the scenario that Collin suggests.. because in fact it the Net is not zero.. and it says 2 coupons can be used on a b1g1 sale.. So they are stating in their own policy that you can use a coupon on the free one..

  23. Maricela

Went into my local Wallgreens today and had a problem with my chapstick deal. Cashier tried but told me that It too was only for what was on the picture. I told her that the coupon states chapstick lipcare .15 oz not a specific brand she said no that it was only for that brand. In Desperate need of some chapstick really hope that it goes through tomorrow.

  24. Amber

I bought the 2 co-q10 and used all the coupons and I had to pay $8.99 do you know why that was?

    • sne3103

Its because the BOGO takes of only $22.99 (not $29.99) off the second item…same thing happened to me…no idea why 🙁

      • mymaya

did you present 2 manufacturers coupons and a Walgreens coupon? If so the computer will take both manufacturers coupons on B1G1 but because walgreens policy supposedly allow only 1 manufacturer coupon you will see that the second item that you are supposed to get for free will have the amount of the 2nd manufacturer coupon deducted from the original price of the item. here is how,

        Nature Bounty CoQ10 cost $29.99
the deal is B1G1 so you should see on your receipt :
        NB CoQ10 $29.99
        NB CoQ10 $29.99
        NB CoQ10 -$29.99

Now…you gave the cashier 2 x $7 manufacturer coupons and a $7 Walgreens coupon. The computer will deduct $14 for the Walgreens coupon then you will see two deductions of $7 for manufacturers coupons but only 1 is allowed so instead the register receipt will show something like this:

        NB CoQ10 $29.99
        NB CoQ10 $29.99
        NB CoQ10 -$22.99 (that’s where the $7 difference is)

God…I’m not good at explaining things 🙁 Sorry!!
Bottom line you are paying $8.99 for those CoQ10 on B1G1 with those coupons…not $1.99
        Sucks!!!

  25. rebekah

Can someone please explain what she meant above by the Dove or m&M candy being .59 with in ad coupon? I found the coupon in my ad, (looks just like the picture) and I can’t figure out how it’s .59

    • mday

Depending on your location and if the M&M is on sale.. Use their coupon booklet from Walgreens sometimes they do have coupons on their ads that you can clip and take for a major discount in combination with manufactured.

  26. Jill

I had the same thing happen with the co-Q10 but since it is normally $29.99 I figured $4.50 each (I didn’t check so this may not be exact but close), was still a great price!

  27. Kari

I have been watching this website and taking hints from it. Today I took my husband to walgreens with me. I spent 39.54 and got 160.12 worth of stuff he was amazed! Thank u! Thank u!

  28. Kari

In response to rebekah the coupon for the 59 cent candy is in the Sunday circuler

  29. Kari

I did the regular chopstick and used the coupon and got the deal. We have a great wags in ormond beach. They never go by the limits and have great people working there
