If you are a newbie to Walgreens shopping, make sure to check out my Walgreens Store guide. …And if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.

Also, as most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy. You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are most welcome, Craig! 🙂

  3. Porsche' Robey

hey Collin, first off thanks for all your work and all the work of everyone behind Hip2Save. : ) ok now about the Blink tears, a week or so ago there was also a 1.50/1 printable i think it was from coupons.com it says redeemable at walmart on it but it IS a MF Q. so if anyone else has it that will be a 1.50MM! WHOOP WHOOP!

  4. Ann

There is also a $1 Blue Diamond coupon on their FB page. Just enter the sweepstakes and you can print one off.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the tip! Just updated the post with this coupon link! 🙂

      • Doe

Thank You Very Much! I so appreciate you as my family does also. I have learned so much from your site and I am no longer a money trasher. Praise God.

    • Michelle

      It is a $1/2 q

  5. Main Chick

REALLY excited about the dove clinical for $2!!! only deodorant that works on me and I’m almost out!

    • Heather W

Thanks! I didn’t even know about this.

    • guest24

It won’t let me vote. I press “vote” and it just sits. What else do I need to do?

  6. Heather

Thanks so much for these, Collin! And I really mean that! I know how much work goes into putting these deals together. I don’t think it’s truely realized just how much goes into this until I started doing it myself for my local stores – talk about extremely time consuming!!

  7. Tanya

The Snapple coupon is $1 off a 6-pk, not an individual bottle.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for letting me know… just removed that deal from the post.

  8. Cynthia

    Thanks colin!!!

Does any one know If the co q 10 is a regional coupon? I don’t see it in my 1/8rp 🙁
Anyone want to send a q to me?? Please e mail dutchie@gmail.. Im happy to pay for ship or trade

    • Toni S.

It must have been regional, I got a $3 coupon.

    • deb gearardo

      sent you an email, Cynthia.

      • Pat

Deb do you have another extra? gsnmatt@gmail….

  9. Darcy

Personally I will never buy cottonelle again. We would go through an entire roll (granted they are regular rolls) super quick.

    • Jennifer

I agree! I think we went through a roll a day of the Cottonelle! I have a Dillons store, Kroger affiliate, and bought some of their “Home Sense” brand tp this last week…on sale for 3.99 for 12 double rolls and love it!!!! It last a long time and seems to be a good quality for the price!

    • grace

totally agree with you Jennifer, ours would last one a day, I’d rather pay a little more for Scott!!

  10. Debbie

Weve been using tp from RA we got months ago when they had all those free rolls.
I personally dont care what variety we use-after all, its flushed down the t 🙂 No brand loyalty here.

    • Makayla

lol. I was thinking abou this the other day. Is Cottonelle the main competition of Charmin? I say this because of the commercial that claims better than that other rippled brand. lol I think the only thing better than Charmin is free or almost free toilet paper. 😀

      • Jennifer

We had a plumber at our house a couple of months ago and he told us to never use Charmin because it’s fibrous (?) and doesn’t break down well. He said that it clings to the sides of the pipes and builds up over time, causing major problems. Then a couple weeks ago I had my 10 yr old daughter at the doctor for a urinary tract infection and the doctor told us to not use Charmin tp!!!

    • shirl

We have to be brand loyal on our tp because we have a septic system. We only use 1 ply scotts extra soft which we were told by multiple people in the plumbing industry that is the best tp as it breaks down and you wont have major repairs years down the road.

      • Laney

Yep was told this by our plumber too! He said no-no to Charmin & Cottonelle types of paper!

  11. Edie

If anyone has an extra $7/1 coupon for the ubiquinol they wouldn’t mind sending my way, I’d really appreciate it. I could trade coupons, pay for postage, etc. 🙂 Email me at otusoa@hotmail.com

  12. Mitch

That CoQ 10 deal has me dizzy, I am going to stock up!
And the Blink I have been waiting for 2 weeks for starts tomorrow in NYC.
    thanks!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • SoxGirl1029

Were you able to get the CoQ10 deal? What a fiasco I had today…the $7 Q from the Walgreens book was only taking $7 off 1 for me. I ended up giving up and leaving without anything!

      • Diane

Mine rang up as 2 x $29.99. The coupon took off $14.00 but the BOGO only took off $22.99. So, in other words, it only takes off the $7 for the Walgreens coupon once. With my manufacturer’s coupons I ended up paying about $10 for 2, so that’s still a decent price.

  13. Christina

Is that a good deal for the toilet paper? Thanks!

  14. Evelyn Johnson

I noticed today that Carmex is B1G1 50% off. The little tins of Healing Cream is 1.50 ea, so buy 2 cans for 2.25 and use 2 of the Carmex coupons $1/1 to get two tins for only .25 or 12.5 cents ea. I love this stuff and the little tins are perfect for your purse.

    • Kim

Where did you find the Carmex coupons?

  15. Carol_R

    Thanks for the match-ups Collin!

  16. lovedeals

I have found $4 peelies on blink and about nature’s bounty I buy 2 different kind newspaper and I got $7 coupons. I live in northern california.

    • Laura

I was so coupon happy when I saw the $4 peelie on the blink, but then noticed that it was expired. Oh well I still had the $1.50 coupon, so I got a good deal.

    • Abby

I totally found one Blink with the $4 peelie too! I knew buying those Girl Scout cookies was good karma…:)

  17. Helen

Will the Walgreens CoQ10 $7 coupon really take off $14 if they are BOGOF?

    • Rose

My guess is it won’t. Last time when another vitamin was BOGO free and there was a Walgreens coupon for them, it only took off for one of the bottles. We shall see.

      • katee

it only takes off the walgreens coupon for ONE item, not both. many coupon sites list it as taking off for both ithem, i’ve worked at walgreens for almost 5 years and this has NEVER happened before. just letting you know

        • Russ

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. It depends on how the register rings it up. If it rings each at half price, no problem. If it rings one at regular price and the second for $0.01, then you sometimes run into problems.

And then there is the new vs. old register issue…..

    • Rachael

Last year there was a B1G1 on reservatrol and a $5 wags coupon. The register deducted $10 for me. Hopefully this will work again.

      • mel

I too have done several deals where the “free item” also deducted with the walgreens coupon. must be ymmv!

      • Laura

It worked for me with wags brand of diapers. I had the coupon out of the infant book and used it when they were B1G1.

        • brittney

I just went and it didn’t work as planned it only took 22.99 off for the free one, because after the store coupon of 7.00 it only took the 22.99 from the remaining on the free on not 7 off the other

    • jaime

I did the resveratrol last year when it was bogo, and you used two wags qs to make them free. It worked more than fine for me. I got a bunch. No…i didnt clear shelves either!

  18. gail

If anyone has a coq10 coupon I would really appreciate getting one. I will be happy to pay for postage. Email me for add if you have an extra. thank you

    gail.mercer@insightbb.com

  19. Caro

The Facbook coupon for the Blue Diamond Almonds is $1 off 2 cans. Oh, well, maybe we’ll win the contest!

  20. Carie

I was wondering if the little bottle of Cortaid that normally sells for $3.99 is on sale this week. I bought some and it rang up $2.99. I combined that sale price with my $2 off Walgreens ad coupon and my $3 off coupon from the paper a few Sundays ago. So, I got $2 overage on each bottle of Cortaid!! Earlier this week, the Cortaid was ringing up $3.99. Anyway, wanted to share.

    • Kris

Walgreens doesn’t let you have overage normally, but I also did this deal last week. It rang up $3.99 at my WG, so minus the $2 WGQ and the $3 MQ, it should have been free. Normally the coupon has to be adjusted down, but my cashier just put it in for $3, so I had an overage of $1 that applied to the other items I was buying. I tried telling him he needed to adjust the coupon but he said he couldn’t. Oh well, I’ll take it!

      • Carie

Yes! I was surprised WG gave me the overage as well.

    • Maezy

…”$3 off coupon from the paper a few Sundays ago.”…. do you know what insert this was? tks.

  21. cherylanniee

The pur-absorb at my walgreens has been recalled 🙁 Darn.

  22. shannyn

Keep an eye out for the Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Hair Color packages that include a Venus razor. Seen these tonight pre-shopping.

  23. louise

My husbands stock of Gillette razors is diminishing. I haven’t been watching for sales/coupons on these razors in the while. I did notice that last month the coupon was for the razor and the cartridges. This month there is only one for the cartridges. I used to get them for free up to $1 with a good sale and a coupon. Does anyone know if that is still a good price point?

    • Haley

I’m wondering the same thing! I’ve seen the individual razors at walmart, in the travel section, and theyre around $5 each. I wish they would put out some of the good ol’ $4/1 coupons for them like they did for so long! 🙂

  24. Ray

Just thought I’d let you know my Emerald nuts coupon was for $1 off 1. That will make them $1.50. Hope everyone got that instead.

  25. shirl

I love your site! On the natures Bounty coQ10 b1g1 it will only deduct $7 from the wags booklet on the one your purchasing and not on the free one. I see this posted a lot and it will not work. It’s still a great deal on these using (2) $7/1 MQ and (1) $7/1 Wags booklet.

  26. Holly

Does anyone have the rebate form located in the 1/29 SS valid for $5 back when you spend $10 or more on Colgate and/or Palmolive products? I don’t have one and was trying to track one down! Thanks!

    • Camille Brown

It is in the Kansas City Star but only good at KMart.

  27. Jennifer

Is the L’Oreal Go Clean Scrub a face product? Because the 1/1 RP also had $3/1 L’Oreal Face product…seems to me a facial cleanser is a face product?! That’d be $5 off each!

    • Grace

You can use the $3/1 coupon for the face scrub!

  28. Bridgett

Thank you so much. This is the highlight of my Saturday. 🙂

  29. MelissaA

Heads up everyone on the Pur-Absorb Iron. Certain lots have been recalled, and have been pulled off the shelves, so if your store carried the recalled lot, it’s a dead deal. No word yet if there will be a substitution for it.

    • Carrie

Our Walgreens is subbing Walgreens brand “Ferrous Sulfate” Elemental Iron 65mg USP Tablets. 260 count – $10 with a $10RR. It was a printed tag on the shelf stating that they were subbing it – so hopefully every Walgreens is doing this. Hope this helps!

      • Angie

Would the Pur coupon be accepted on the sub product?

  30. Lisa

The substitution not so hot instead of a 19.99 product they r subbing the 13.99 wags I think it’s called feritol:(

    • Catherine

It has great reviews on Amazon and it’s the kind I use. 🙂

  31. tippv2j

Is anyone else having problems with the Old El Paso? It says I have exceeding my print qty and I haven’t printed one. Thanks!

    • Candice

Yep. The same thing happened to me. Never got to even print one.

  32. Pricecheckchick

I found two bogo packs of Dove Clinical…made five just $1.20 ea!

  33. Jill

The $1.50 Pretzel M&M coupon isn’t working for me. Anyone else having problems?

  34. Megan

FYI – the Wags Chap Stick coupon didn’t work this morning. The mgr said it was only for the Chap Stick in the photo (ugh…) but she put it though “this time only.” There aren’t any restrictions on the coupon so everything should have gone correctly but I had to fight for this one.

    • kate

Same thing happened to me. It beeped and they said then it had to be for the one in the photo. I didn’t get the mgr, just said I didn’t want it.

    • Sabrina

I was just told the same thing…that it was only the Chap Stick pictured. Boo! I am addicted to the mint flavored Chap Stick and that would have been a great deal!

      • madison

same thing here but my mgr. told me that corporate messed up and for got to put the restriction on the coupon

    • Erin

This is not a new thing. I was hoping it would work cause there are no specifics on the coupon but over the past few months I have had this happen several times. There aren’t very good specifics on any of their walgreens coupons, but I have been told by many different managers at many different stores around me that they will only take those coupons off of what is pictured, that’s it, no exceptions. . . . wonder what in the world is up???

  35. Butch

does anyone know if i can use the scotts coupon in the 1/15 SS for the $1 off four or more rolls of scott towels on the Natural towels that are on sale? This would make for a great deal.

    • brittney

yes you can i did it today

  36. alicia

Thanks for the match ups every week. This CO Q-10 deal is Crazy!! I just purchased it Friday using my $7.00 coupons. Do you think if I take them back to the store they will honor the additional Walgreens coupon?? Also, is it legal to purchase coupons, I see coupons all the time on ebay?

    • Debbie

Yes it is legal to purchase on Ebay because you are NOT purchasing the coupons, but merely paying someone else a fee to clip and mail them for you.

      • alicia

        thanks

    • Laura

According to the CIC, selling/buying coupons on ebay or other sources is a punishable crime. Since the sellers tell you that you are paying for their time, they are aware that it is wrong to sell them. A lot of people buy/trade coupons, but I prefer not to participate in this practice.

  37. Nichole

Just got my m&m’s! The regular pretzel bags not valentine pretzel (thankfully as they did not have them) and they rang just fine if anyone was wondering. At my local store the signs said 2/6 but I had them ring them up and they were 2/5.

  38. kelly

Just left Wales and Nature Bounty is not working. Cashier and Manager were great, but we could not get it to work no matter how we used the coupons. It kept add money not the whole amount of the free one. So for 2 it was totaling $11.74 eve with all the coupons going through

    • lovedeals

It didn’t work for me either.

    • Sonya

Well, that is a little less than what my store got mine down to. Yup, doesn’t work.

    • melissa

I had trouble too. The viatamins were $28.99 on the self, but rang up as 29.99, then the system gave me the bogo after the coupons! It took us over an hour to get it straightened out, but it took a lot of voids and I’m hoping no gets in trouble for it.

  39. Julie

Was very excited about the Blink Eye Drops deal – found $4.00 off peelies on boxes of the eye drops @ Walgreens – making it $4.00 + generating an $8 RR. It also generated a FREE box of Breathe Right strips as a Catalina. Definitely worth the trip to Walgreens today!

  40. Sandt

The Allegra coupon only printed the border for me, no bar code or text!

  41. Tricia Clement

Today when I went to buy the Blink Tears there was actually a peel- off coupon on the front of the box for $4 off instantly! So of course I used that instead of the $1.50 coupon I had intended to use. I paid $4 for it and got the $8 RR–a $4 moneymaker! You might have to look farther back on the shelf for bottles that have the $4 peel off coupon.

  42. Porsche' Robey

hey all i didnt get the thermacare rebate in my paper….was that suppose to come out today? were can i find it? if someone has an extra i would loooove it you could donate it : ) i have coupons to trade also if you want email me. please couponrobey at yahoo dot com TIA!

  43. madison

With the chapstick.. My walgreens told me that it was only for the one in the picture. they weren’t sure why either that just what corporate told them after they tried many time to get it to go through

  44. Erin

If you did the purAbsorb when it was better than free at cvs 2 mths ago then there was a $2 off coupon in the box. I will be using this at walgreens this week! =)
I also found a $4 peelie on the blink tears at walgreens making them $4 with a $8rr!

    and one last thing =)
There were .25 chapstick printable coupons at the beginning of the month. mine don’t expire till febuary 14th, so that makes them .10 a piece!

    Happy Couponing!!

    • Sonya

The cheap Original Chapstick doesn’t work with the store coupon. I had a manager try several times. Didn’t work.

      • Erin

yeah, just found that out. The cashier that I had forced the coupon through for me anyways (I was shocked she did though =). But I’ve noticed that with the walgreens coupons, they only work with what is pictured, even if the coupon doesn’t give any specifics. . . ??

Has anyone else tried to do the PurAbsorb? cause there was a note in walgreens that is was pulled or recalled.??

    • LIzR

So which chapstick is in the wags Q book? I also still have 4 printable mfq’s that I planned on using w/this deal, reading the comments it looks like it’s not working as well.

  45. Irene

There was no Old El Paso coupon in our SmartSource section. And the SmartSource website wouldn’t let my husband print out a coupon.

As well, there were no Red Plum inserts in our Sunday paper, at all.

    🙁

  46. Sonya

The “Nature’s Bounty Health Supplements Buy 1 get 1 Free” deal for $1.99 does NOT work. You need to take that one off the list as such. The system takes all coupons off each item BEFORE it will honor the B1G1. The least it would get was around $16 for both. ($29.99-7 wags Q -7 man.Q =15.99 each, then one is free).

Also, the Chapstick coupon would NOT work with the “Original” cheap chapstick. I had a manager try and try. She said that original must not be included, I didn’t try any other versions.

    • Erin

walgreens coupons have only been working on the item that is pictured. I have had this several times over the past few months. there are no specifications on the coupons but they beep when trying to use anything that isn’t pictured . . . .
anyone know what might be going on with that???

    • LIzR

I haven’t picked up the wags booklet.. which chapstick is on the picture? I have .25/1 printables for chapstick that I was going to use.

  47. ln

i did two separate transactions on the blink eye drops and got two $8 rr’s. my question is will i be able to use both of them in one transaction to get other items? thanks for your help!

    • Heather

Yes, you can use them both in one transaction for other items. Just as long as your total isn’t below $16.

  48. Heather

Just a heads up for everyone. There was a mention above about looking towards the back of the shelf for Blink items with $4 peelies. My store had the $4 off on the ones towards the back of the shelf as well. However, there were also a lot of expired eye drops in front of the boxes with the peelies. I suggest you check the expiration dates. We at first thought it was a manufactured date until we came across some for 2013.

  49. Kate

There have been coupons at WalMart stuck to the Tostitos salsa jars that read buy 2 bags of Tostitos chips get 1 free jar of salsa. So with the BOGO sale on the chips, you would pay for one bag and then get another bag AND a jar of salsa free! Be on the lookout for those coupons! 🙂
