also, I was able to find the Irish Spring with a small bottle of body wash and a double pack of speed stick for men that was only $1.69.

  2. Marie

When I went to CVS this morning, I looked at the Crystal light and Toms products and scanned a few and no clearance. But I’m going to watch these items because back when they were doing a big clearance on makeup and everyone was posting about it, my store didn’t mark anything down for several weeks after that.

  3. Kristen

I have some questions about rainchecks that I’m hoping someone here can answer before I ask the cashiers and feel silly 😉

    1. Can I get a raincheck for the Schick shaving cream? It wasn’t advertised in the ad, but there are tags hanging by the products (which are totally wiped out).

    2. How would a raincheck work for the deodorant since the ECB is off a purchase amount, not a set amount of product? Can they just write “buy $12 of Speed Stick get a $6 ECB”? And if anyone has experience with this – when I use the raincheck can I just buy 6 deodorants for $11.94 and get the ECB, or since it’s a raincheck will it have to be the full $12?

I’m just a little discouraged today since none of the awesome deals I wanted were there, and I’m not sure how the rainchecks will work. Oh well, I get plenty of good deals each week, it’s just discouraging to spend all this time planning deals and cutting coupons only to have things be out of stock!

    • Alea

You can only get a raincheck on advertised items, but the rainchecks do print up the ECB for you later if you meet the sales term (IE, you would need to buy $12 worth).

  4. Cheryl S.

I bought 4 skintimates at 3.59 minus 25% off coupon I had. I am out of town for work, and I didn’t have my coupons, but the deal was awesome even without them! I had two Co workers with me (after dinner and a few beers) and they were laughing at my CVS excitement at dinner, but they both gladly took a shave gel when I offered! 🙂

    • Nicole

I had the 25% off coupon also but the cashier told me if I used it on the skintimate, i wouldnt get the ecb’s.

      • Moe

I always use mine and get ecb’s! 🙂

        • A_B

Nicole, I used $5/$30 and received the Extra Bucks. Im sure it would have printed for ya!

  5. Kabby

While at CVS today I saw CVS brand training pants/diapers normally 19.99 on clearance 4.99….good luck.

  6. Carrie

Just went to cvs this morning and they were out of everything. The manager told me they were doing the shick deal but they were not going to be getting anymore in until it was over. They said 1 lady came in sun night and bought every single can they had and until then they hadn’t even heard of the deal. There are no tags up. Bummer for me all I was able to get was pepsi and m&ms. 🙁

  7. Nodira

By chance does anyone have an extra rebate for the lady speedstick deal from 1/29 SS inserts they are willing to part with? I got the deodrant but my area did not get the form. My email is: sobirova.87@mail.ru.

    Thank you so much!!!

    • A_B

I have plenty of extra .. just sent u an email! 🙂

      • Nodira

        Thank you very much A_B.

        God Bless You!!!

      • pl4ygiirl

do u still happen to have anymore of those rebates?

  8. Jake

There were a few types of Speed Stick on clearance at my store for $.92 ea. I got 13 of them. The B1G1 coupons rang up at $3.99, and my store always lets them slide at full value SO:
    13 x $.92= $11.96
    used 3 B1G1 at $3.99
    got $6 ECB

I did this twice, so I ended up with 26 Speed Stick and up $12 in ECB. GREAT TRIP.

  9. Laura

Then we wonder why stores are wiped out…

    • Jake

There was plenty left when I was done, I shop at midnight on Saturday. Plus, I won’t be buying deodorant again any time soon, so don’t you go fretting your little heart out there Laura.

      • katie

Do u really need 26 deodorants though?? Just curious…..

        • mel

what’s it to you? My dh uses at least 2 sticks a month. He keeps one in his knapsack that he takes to work. If you live in the south, then you know it gets mighty sticky, and since he works outside.. well, he needs to reapply! Plus he goes to the gym and he is just a sweater. With that said, 26 would only last for 1 yr + 1 month. But my hubby can only use Degree, so I only stockpile enough to last me through the next sale cycle. But believe me, if Degree was clearanced & part of an ECB deal, I would have hit it hard too!

Its a shame when you have to justify your purchases 🙁

        • Jake

It gets pretty hot here in south Texas… and there is 4 of us in the house, so it’s not really all that much. Don’t usually do such big purchase, but I couldn’t pass the money maker and stock up chance combo 😉

  10. Sarah

So I went to try the Schick shaving cream ecb deal here in San Antonio today. I bought 2 of the pink Skintimate bottles and 2 of the Schick Hydro Sensitive skin and none of them printed out the ecb 🙁 Anyone have this issue? or maybe CVS caught this and updated their systems.

On a positive note though, I did find the Tom of Maine’s Mouthwash on clearance for $2.89. You win some, you loose some.

    • Nicole

I have a feeling they might have pulled the Skintimate offer. I got some yesterday, but went to a different CVS in the area and the shelf was empty and the signs were gone.

    • kelly

I got 4 this morning and the signs were up and got the ECB, then went after work to a different CVS with no signes and bought 4 but did not get the ECB. I am assuming they stopped it.

      • mel

yep, it has been reported as a being a dead deal 🙁

    • bugsmombubtoo

Sarah…I was at my CVS around 1 today, and I bought 2 of the shick hydro sens.; anyhow, after paying, I noticed that the ECB hadn’t printed. I went back to the cashier and she instantly said…”sorry, I noticed it hadn’t printed for you”…She literally hit a button and printed out a coupon for the $8 ECB that was “personalized to my name and card number”. Now mind you, 2 other customers had gone between my original transaction and me returning about the ECB.( I was a little curious as to how she managed to print a coupon that was MINE without rescanning my card??) So…NOT sure what the deal, but seemed kind of like they were trying to HIDE it. Not sure how to explain it, but honestly, the second I had the two shaving creams in my hand SHE knew I KNEW I should be getting an ECB. So I definately think they made an error and tried to cover it.

  11. anja grayson

i have 2 cvs’s in town but neither one had any of these products on clearance

  12. edy

Jake, good for u! Sometimes, we don’t post things because, people critize us even, if we don’t live in the same town! I bought 60 cases of cokes last week! Since the limit was spend $30 get 10 back! Limit 5 gift cards. When they gave the $10 cash card and did it all in 4/12 packs at @time! My manager had order plenty 2 pallets! And did it all on saturday the last day of the sale! Paid cash! And the manager said sell it the had plenty! My daughter is gettying married so, I need the sodas! The more the cvs sales the bigger the bonus for the managers! And, I donate items! Too! And the shaving cream! Its skintimate skin theraphy sensitive cream code _up 84105800568 only got one! But, my friends are findind it! I only shop at one cvs! So, anybody don’t worry!

    • Elizabeth

Edy I say good for Jake too! Ppl really are silly on here sometimes. It’s like if you found the deal in stock good and if not maybe next time. I don’t understand how these folks get real upset. They want to get in and out of the store with the deal and not even wait in line, as if the whole world worked like that. If anyone gets on the deal regardless on the quantity, good for them! I doubt someone that is on here would get it to just throw it away! One thing I’m sure of is that everyone on here puts those items to use whether personally, to donate and share with family. Everyone needs to calm down.

I got a really good deal today. Collin posted a Centrum promo a few weeks ago, to get a coupon via snail-mail ~ buy Centrum Multivitamins, get $10 off Centrum pronutrients. Well, I got it today, so as I’m looking at the coupon, I remember there’s a deal this week, buy 2 Pfizer products, get $4 back. There’s also a monthly deal wyb 2 participating products, get $4. When I scanned my card on Sunday, I got a $4 off Centrum pronutrients. So I headed to the store and bought –
    $9.99 – pronutrients
    $6.99 – centrum multivitamins
    $4.49 – children’s advil
    $4.49 – adult advil
    subtot – $25.96
used a $4/20 that I got in my email, the $10 off pronutrients, 2 $1 off any advil or thermacare products (printed from redplum.com) plus $8 in extrabucks
paid a little over $2 with tax! Got 2 more $4 ecbs in return (2 counted towards “Pain” and 2 counted towards “pfizer”). So if you happen to get this coupon, this week is a good week to use it! On top of that, I’m going to submit the receipt for the Pfizer rebate! a little over $7 MM!!

I think you can still go to the website to request it, just google
    Nutrition Possible.

    • kidsallgone

I am so amazed when someone posts such an awesome deal like that!
I just wish I was that clever to remember all the coupons/ecbs/rebates/$off$/weekly deals/monthly deals, etc etc etc.
I know Collin posts some great deals & other hipsters posts some great scenarios, as well as some unexpected finds; but I just find it a bit overwhelming sometimes (not to mention time-consuming). When I do manage to put it all together and head to the store, I come up with some great deals! My goal is to pay $0 (+ tax) each time and I come pretty close 🙂
Well, I just had to whine a little about being old and unorganized lol.
      Thanks for listening 🙂

  14. A_B

I got almost 20 of the Skintimate shave gels, 10 Lady Speed Stick deos, 4 Softsoap (had $.99 raincheck and $.40 qs, counted toward Buy $12 get $6 Extra Bucks!), and 2 Tom of Maine’s Mouthwash clearanced @ $2.74 (receive $3 Extra Bucks!) now I have a total of $36 in Extra Bucks and I started with only $10!

    • Elizabeth

That’s good! I tried getting the skintimate, but it didn’t print anything out so I figured it was a glitch and it was fixed and not giving anyone an ECB.

    • kelly

Nice job! Just curious, did you get the skinmate shave gels today or yesterday? I’m just wondering if it is still working anywhere.

  15. edy

A-b where are u at? So, I know this deal is not dead is just that they haven’t brought items!! So, get ready suave deals next week! Also, a lot of cvs have NY and MILANY cosmetics 75%off! I went, late buy my manager had 8 irish items on hold for me and she showed me all the cosmetics 75% off well. I didn’t have any cpns for those cosmetics but had 56 bucks! Bought 33.dlrs worth of makeup! Used 33.23 gave her 33.on bucks paid .23 cash but it goes to my beauty bucks so I get at least 10 back later!! Worthed!! I have 4 daughters and myself plenty of goodies for us!!

  16. Kari M.

I went to CVS and bought 6 of the Lady Speedstick Deo’s and 1 colgate toothpaste….after coupons and the discounts BUT before my ECb’s it was $3.39. I tried to pay w/a $3 ECB and for whatever reason the register wouldn’t except the full amount for my ECB?? The cashier said it would only take $2 and some change(can’t remember exact amount). She said I could go ahead and use that or just hold off with my next transaction-so that’s what I did. Just wondering if anyone would know why this would happen or if its ever happened to anyone else before?? I hate making complaints so I didn’t bothering asking about it…it was still a pretty cheap deal but the more I think about it the more it’s bothering me. I didn’t get my $6 ECb’s back b/c my total wasn’t $12 but I did receive a $3 of $15 coupon though…YOu win some and you lose some I guess!

    • Elizabeth

You can still accumulate for the $6 though. So until Saturday you can still work to buy $12 worth of items. On the bottom of your receipt it tells you how much more you need to purchase to get that reward. Hope I’ve helped!

      • Kari M.

Oh yeah I already did that. I couldn’t figure out why it was only $3+change. Looked at my receipt and realized all but one deo’s was on clearance for $.99. I went back the next morning and finshed out the deal so I could use that $6 ecb’s on the spend $30 get $10 ecb’s back.

  17. edy

Also, the manager said that this Customer ahead of me! Bought huggies pullups marked down 4.64! There not marked down! I saw in a blogg or a postying that those were marked down! I just forgot to check or scan myself! Well I can always get the deals!!

    • Angela

I found pull ups (boys size 4t-5t) that were marked down to $4.62. I had heard they were on clearance as well but they were not marked. I ran into a couponer in the store and she said alot of times it isn’t marked on the shelf, you just have to grab and go scan, which is what I did. I got one of all the packages and went to the scanner and found the ones clearanced. If you do this….I do ask that you please return the items to the shelf properly though. Anyway, I had a $2 off coupon so I got them for $2.62 each.

So after coupons two Pullups mega packs for $3.64 +tax. The CVS brand training pants mega packs are also on clearance for $3.69. I grabbed one pack of those to try on my son. In the end I have 109 training pants for a little over $8 bucks…good day!

  22. Amy R

I am new to couponing at CVS and i have a question. I was able to load a $5 off $30 q on to my card. Do I have to spend the $30 (pre-coupon) in one transaction or will the system keep track of my spending and authorize the q when my total hits $30?

  23. edy

When, I get 4 of 20 I buy only 20dlrs worthed of items! Give my 4 of 20 first and then cupons after and bucks if I have any! And I pay less!

I haven’t read all your comments but the Lysol No Touch Soap System is 50% off and we have a $3.00 coupon (tomorrow’s paper). The final out of pocket is $3.39 each. I bought one and i am using it and i actually love it. I heard from another couponer that you can refill the container with other soap when it runs out.

  26. suzanne

I don’t see the Bic Soleils on here – they are ringing up 75% off making them 1.87 oop.
The cartridges are ringing up 75% off too. I bought mine this morning at CVS.
