are these trial sized bags right in with the big bags? just asking because i have never noticed these small bags before. thanks!

    • Jennifer W

      Yes

    • Ragan

Yes, they were at my store. Near the end of the aisle though.

      • guest24

I will look also, But, seldom in Houston. I just threw away the Boxed Purina. I NEVER found it… Target/Wal-Mart. Thanks ladies.

        • Adriana

Hey I’m in houston to what part of Houston

    • Rosa

I have 2Targets close to me and one had the $3bags and the other didn’t. They wer all out when I got there but I noticed there were small biscuits from Iams in a 24oz box for under $2.50- so I thought that would qualify for dry dog food. I checked out with no problems and got the box for free! Just another option to try .

    I Need Iams Q’S!!!!!!!! 🙂

  3. Ashley57

The dog food coupon inside the bag is $3 off one bag of IAMS dry dog food 13.4 lbs or larger.

I went to my Target about 2 hrs after it opened this morning, they still had about half their stock, 20 bags.

    • guest24

Where do you live? I will check, but seldom in Houston. I have 2 Target w/in 2 miles from the house.

  4. Kristeen

Picked up mine as soon as they opened the doors…there weren’t many left. Probably since some people got the coupon on Wednesday.

For people in Missouri the P&G was in your blue free paper delivered on your driveway Wednesday and Thursday. I was able to score several by walking around my neighborhood and asking people if they wanted thier blue paper. I was shocked that most people said no even when I told them there were valuable coupons inside.

    • ALEX m

Which blue paper is that? I live in Columbia, MO

      • BJ

The one that is usually delivered to the end of your driveway it has tons of ads, some cities do not allow the papers because of trash, you may be one because it is a college town. My sister gets them and she is in Hallsville. The P&G are in todays paper, you also may get one in the mail like a value mailer. That is based on my friend who works for AWG and has contact with P&G Vendors. It depends. I know here in KC area Lee’s Summit, Raytown, Blue Springs and Independence and Parts of Belton get them. Not sure about which other local KC cities. Cities near the lakes can get them but only in the towns.

      • Smellyann

Hey Alex M – Totally OT, but since you live there, head to Sycamore Restaurant and tell them the chef’s SIL Melanie sent you. Maybe you’ll get special treatment. Even if not, it’s an AWESOME restaurant with great food. 😀 (We’re in VA but have been 3x so I can vouch.)

    • Chris

I live in Chicago and we get free ads and coupons (though far fewer coupons than in the paper) every Sunday, it is called “Deals Delivered” and is compliments of the Chicago Tribune. It has the P&G insert with the coupon in it, I got a few, we get about 20 at my building and they are generally thrown away at the end of the day because nobody actually picks them up. So I took 3, which including the coupon from my paper is how many you are allowed to use per transaction.

  6. shirl

I bought a few bags of the cat food and the size is 12oz (341g) not 24oz. The bags also state trial size on them but coupon doesn’t exclude trial size so free after coupon.

    • shirl

disregard my above comment.. the 24oz is for dogs… I didn’t know how to delete my original comment.

Please consider donating this free item to your local animal shelter! OR try bringing it to a food pantry. Many food pantries (like ours here in town) have a pet section for people who need help caring for their pets.

  9. Felicia

I was able to get a few bags this morning. Thanks for this fantastic post Collin!!!

BJ’s will often have a $5 off IAMS coupon which you can stack with this $3 manufacturer’s coupon. So a 46 lb pound which is normally $38 would be only $30. On a per pound basis, it only costs 65 cents per pound which is an awesome deal.

If you were to purchase the 24 oz. bag at $3, it would cost $2.61/lb. Granted it’s free with the $3 coupon, but you would get more bang for your buck at BJ’s with this. Just sayin’….

      • Marcia

Thanks for the reminder. I have been voting most days and we have Collin way ahead. Yeah for Collin and Hip2Save!!

    • Christine

Thank you for the reminder. 🙂
      Go Collin, go! 😛

Target also has the 33 lb. bags on sale for $29.99 this week as well.

Save your coupons until the “shelf clearers” are done. If your Target carries the trial size, bets are they will restock shortly. Use the insert coupons during Feb. on the trial size before they expire, the coupons in the bags have a much longer experation date. I discovered the trial size bags in my local Target last summer and scored a great deal (for me).

Target offers buy 2 bags @ 17.5 lbs and get $5.00 gift card ( I did that this past summer using 2 $3 coupons from trial size bags. I bought “bonus” bags that were 20 lbs instead of 17.5 lbs.).

I’m going in for the 33 lb bag @ 29.99 – $3.00 coupon – $5.00 gift card (from last summer’s purchase). Beloved Fuzz Face will be fed for months!

Anyone know if Walmart sells these as well and what the prices are? Our Target was sold out this morning. TIA!

  12. Brooke

A lady was clearing the shelves at mine this morning saw me looking and left 1!

  13. maria

There were 2 ladies at Target yesterday In CT clearing these out- and they were using the olay Q illegaly too- I really HATE when people get greedy and steal. I told the managers and they will keep an eye out for them. One of the ladies started screaming, it just wasnt worth it- Ive seen couponing go from good to bad so fast. Been couponing for many years, I do not want to be associated with the ones who are greedy and steal

  14. magen

does anyone have any coupons that they would be willing to send my way? I have a cat and dog that both eat Iams and would love to stalk up on these, but my local store was all out of papers when I got there! if so please email me: duffyschniepp@yahoo.com.
    Thanks!

I went to Target about 5pm and they where already out of the trial size bags of Iams cat food. Husband and I went to Petsmart for crickets and I went to the cat food Iams aisle and they have lots of the 4lb bags on clearance for just $3.47 and $4.17 due to an upcoming reset. While not free like the Target deal, you are still getting 4lbs of cat food for just $0.47 to $1.17 each. I think that’s quite a deal! I bought four bags for $2.58 using my petsperk card and then donated them to the cat adoption that was going on while I was there.

FYI: If they are out at Target/Walmart make sure to check Petsmart for a better deal!

    • McQCoupon

oh i forgot to say I paid $2.58 using 4 $3/1 Iams coupon.

    • Karin

Thank you for the info! I’m sure my Target would be wiped out by now, so I’ll go Petsmart instead. 🙂

    • Scarlet

I think I might just do that right now thanks 😀

  16. Scarlet

sighs, I wish no one around here knew about it, because every single target is out, and I buy the Senior health one for my Dog whenever I can, now I can’t even get it for 2.00 like I used to :/

  17. Tera

Our local Target did not carry it, however at a Walmart in a neighboring town they had the 2 lb. bags of cat food for $5.17 making them only $2.17 plus a $3/1 Coupon inside so not too bad. They did not carry any in dog food.

  18. Jena

Does anyone know if the $3 coupon inside excludes trial sizes?
