Lots of you have been asking recently how I am saving on the organic and natural products I’ve been purchasing, so I thought I’d do a little post on my “Go-To” site for great deals on these grocery items!

I’ve actually mentioned this a few times before…  Amazon.com has some awesome deals available in their warehouse section. They have lots of organic and natural products discounted more than 50% and most items ship FREE with Amazon Prime or on $25 or more with Super Saver Shipping. Note that most of these products are approaching their sell by date (however, I’ve ordered warehouse items before and the expiration date has always been at least 2 to 3 months out from when I receive them). Also, keep in mind that they usually don’t have a large quantity of items available at the low prices listed, so if you see something you like, I would suggest snatching it up pretty quickly.

As pictured above, about 2 weeks ago, I purchased 24 single serve bags of Terra sweet potato chips (by the way, I LOVE these and also LOVE the fact that the only ingredients are sweet potatoes and oil) for only $14.70 – making each bag just $0.61! I also purchased a 30-pack of Kettle Valley Certified Organic Real Fruit Snack bars (my kiddos love these) for just $11.04. Not too shabby!

Here are a few of the deals I spotted tonight (and please take note that these deals listed below will probably sell out quickly or go back up in price. Also, if you notice an item went back up in price, click on the link under “In Stock” which looks something like this “6 new from $10.99” click there and you will see all the prices that the product is selling for… sometimes by doing this, you’ll be able to find a link that will take you to the lower priced warehouse offer that I have listed. Check out the screen shot below for more info.)…

Terra Sweet Potato Chips 1.2 oz bags (pack of 24)
Only $14.07 (reg. $22.99!) – less than what I paid 2 weeks ago!

Health Valley Low Fat Granola, Raisin Cinnamon, 12.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)
Only $11.64 (Reg. $25.99!) – just $1.94 per box!

Nature’s Path Organic Flax Plus Multibran Cereal, 13.25-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)
Only $9.07 (Reg. $25.98!) – WOW!! For organic cereal this is such a bargain – makes each box just $1.51!

Crazy Cups Nutty Sampler, K-Cup Portion Pack for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Pack of 20)
Only $9.20 (Reg. $24.95!)

HK Anderson Ultrathin Pretzel Stix, 10-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
Only $14.47 – just $1.21 per box!

Kettle Krinkle Cut Chips, Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper, 2-Ounce Bags (Pack of 24)
Only $12.96 (Regularly $19.34!) – makes each bag just $0.54!

Kettle Bakes Potato Chips (lightly salted) 4-oz bags 15-pack
Only $20.90 – which makes each bag just $1.39! Great price!

*Knowing Amazon, these items above will probably sell out or go back up in price within seconds of this post. However, there are lots of other sweet deals available in their warehouse section, so take your time to browse around and see what bargains you can find!

I buy organic fresh produce that’s on sale and work around whatever was seasonal/ marked down, etc. Things like organic canned tomatoes, sauces, rice & pastas are on sale and there are coupons regularly, so stock up at the right price. Earth Fare has good prices on bulk organic beans, plus they send “weekly freebies” (So glad they opened in my area!) but I still get the majority of my organic groceries and Kroger & Meijer (and usually do match-ups for these on my site).

Organic dairy and eggs are a little tougher, but Organic Valley has coupons, too, and store brand org. milk is on sale occasionally. EggLand’s Best has coupons that double, so the most I pay is $3.09 a dozen. Tofu is a versatile (try it as ricotta in lasagna!) organic protein at $2/ lb already, but Nasoya & WildWood both put coupons out, too, plus I snatch it up when it’s marked down.

Meijer has non-GMO Quorn & Gardein (faux burgers & chicken) on sale this week at Meijer, and there are coupons for them, too!

You’re not looking in the right place, see where it says “New from $xx.xx and that’s where you’ll see the lower prices! 🙂

I have to say that I just ordered a 25lb bag of Pamela’s Gluten Free Baking Mix and it was bad. It had nasty spider webs inside it. However, I was getting it for a really good price because of the Amazon warehouse deal and when I contacted them I did not have to pay.

    • Amanda

      Spider webs inside a bag???

      • A.Marie

I once had little bugs inside of my crackers. The bag was sealed, but I found them when I opened them. The pest that causes the spider-like webs is the weevil. My Mom once opened a bag of something (I can’t remember what it was now), but these moths flew out of it. She said they were grain moths and she about had a FIT!!! 😉

    • cara

sounds like food moths got in them….yuck! they make those sticky webs in grains and tons of stuff. they’re horrible to get rid of too.

    • Beth

Probably meal moths … they are NASTY (will hatch little white larvae/worms in everything that doesn’t have an airtight seal) and very hard to get rid of if they get into your pantry items. I had an infestation once after buying a bean soup mix from a natural foods store near us. Make sure you throw ALL of it out, and watch your flour, rice and other dry goods for the next several weeks. If you see little moths fluttering around, you’ll need to buy special traps to get rid of them. Fortunately – and this is the only saving grace with these things! – the traps are glue boards with a small pheromone bait, and aren’t toxic.

RATS! I love the baked kettle chips but they went up by $11.00 🙁

Thanks Collin, those are excellent prices especially for organic. I never would have thought to look on Amazon for cereal.

    • Crystie

You’re not looking in the right place, see where it says “New from $20.90 below the higher price and that’s where you’ll see the lower prices!

      • Eden

I don’t see it either! Clicked on the new section, but they are all still $20-$25. Must not be looking in the right place…

        • mel

it must have gone up since she posted.. all I see is the $21 option or $17.85 w/subscribe & save. I opted to get

Back to Nature Crispy Cheddar Crackers, 1-Ounce Bags (Pack of 32) $11.89

  7. Tonia

    oops. nevermind…found it. 🙂

I am loving Whole Foods lately for organic and healthy foods. I try to wait for a sale and stack their coupons with a manufacturer coupon. I also like that I can get overage there or a discount if I buy by the case. Last week, I got free tofu, which is great since were vegetarians!

  9. Nanette

Got the pretzels and also picked up the 32servings of the back to nature cheddar snacks for the kids’ lunches. Thanks!

  10. Cynthia

Just scored the lower sodium kettle chips..hooray! There were 7 left when i ordered…thanks!!!

I am in love with Trader Joes and Costco! They have awesome products and decent prices! I go there every week and hardly shop at the regular grocery stores anymore.

    • Cyndi

Trader Joe’s does have great prices on some things. I think they have one of the best prices on organic flax oil I’ve found. They’re supposed to be all non-GMO, too, so I like their store brand taco shells!

  12. AmyAmy

What an amazing deal on K Cups!!

  13. Heather

A week ago, I snagged three jars of Justin’s All Natural Nut Butter (Chocolate Peanut Butter) for $10.50 shipped – an amazing deal for the Justin’s Brand. Price jumped up almost right after I purchased.

  14. Amber

How do you even know these are marked down? Are you emailed about them or just luck?

  15. Zia B-

I see these amazon warehouse deals posted once in a while on various sites… and I don’t know if it is just me, but for some reason I just don’t share the same excitement. I mean I get way better deals on organic/natural items watching for sales on the items I know I can match a coupon with. I don’t usually shop more than once a week either, but I sure can get fantastic deals when I do go shopping. I pick 2 stores that have the best deals for the week and that’s where I shop… that way I don’t get burnt out. I have a “small” stockpile of “wholesome” foods and I make my meals from what I got on sale. Plus I get killer deals on items that are unadvertised and that I primarily find while skimming the isles.

Side note: I volunteered to do Whole Foods as part of H2S’s new “Grocery Deals”, but haven’t heard back (yet anyways) 😉 –

This post is wonderful. Thanks for all the tips in the comments. I too am happy that ppl are shifting towards a healthy lifestyle.

  17. Tonya

Thanks! I didn’t know Amazon had a warehouse section. I buy almost all of my organic stuff on Amazon. We don’t have any organic stores here, and the stores that do have some stuff, have a really tiny selection.
