Update – This appears to be no longer working 🙁

I just want to remind you all to take advantage of this *HOT* Walgreens Huggies Wipes deal while you can! If you missed this deal when I posted last night, here is what’s up….

The Huggies Soft Skin baby wipes (64 ct) AND the Huggies Natural Care fragrance free baby wipes (72 ct) are both printing a $2 Register Reward – which makes for a very *HOT* deal. And I also recently heard word that the Sensitive Wipes AND Huggies Natural Care Wipes Refill packages 72ct (pictured below) are also working for the $2 Register Reward. *Other Huggies Wipes Refill packages may be working too… so let us know what works for you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Huggies Natural Care lightly scented baby wipes do NOT work for the Register Reward, so don’t buy these – you will NOT get an RR back!

Deal Scenario #1:
Buy Huggies Soft Skin baby wipes 64 ct $2.49
Or Buy Huggies Natural Care baby wipes 72 ct (fragrance free variety only) $2.49
Or Huggies Sensitive baby Wipes 64 ct $2.49
Total = $2.49
Use the $0.50/1 coupon found in the 2/12 SS
Pay $1.99
Get back a $2 RR
Final cost – completely FREE baby wipes! 😀 …And even without a coupon, you’ll just pay $0.49 after Register Reward – which is still a *HOT* price!

Deal Scenario #2:

Does anyone know if this will work on multiple packages bought at the same time? My region got $1/2 coupons. Thanks

    • Allison Novess Brittain

You will only receive 1- $2 RR.
Your scenario would look like this:
      2 pkgs at $2.49 each= 4.98
      – $1/2 Q=3.98
      Pay $3.98
      Receive $2 RR
=$1.98 total or $.99 each, so a better deal without the coupon.

    • cheryl

I bought two packages and only got back one $2 RR. So I think you will have to do seperate tranactions.

      • jessicaNYCNY

Free is good, but without creepy chemicals is better! We make our own with a roll of paper towels, cut in half. Two cups of water, heated – add a spoonful of nontoxic baby wash and optional, add a spoon of olive oil.

        • Cori

How do you store them to keep from drying out? And how do you cut the roll in half without making a mess? I’m interested because we tend to have sensitive skin in our house – even w/ the fragrance-free stuff!!

          • Jessica S.

We also make our own wipes… someone gave us a “sarter kit” at our baby shower. It’s a pasta storage container (tall & square) with a flip open lid. Half a paper towel roll fits in it perfectly. Then just pour the water/soap mixture on top. As long as you’re using them daily, they won’t dry out quickly. Cutting the paper towel thing is a little messy, but you only do it once every two refills (since one roll equals two tubs of wipes). Pull out the cardboard center, and then you can start pulling the wipes up from the center. The “pick your size” paper towels (the ones that are perforated every half sheet instead of full-size) work the best for us. We use these wipes after meals especially! (we still use Huggies for messy diapers…)

            • Marianne

We use cloth wipes. They’re made of flannel. I keep them in a normal wipe warmer and just pour water over them, and that works for us. No baby oil or anything else-just water. We bought the wipes but you could easily make them. I just throw them in my wet bag with my diapers and wash them all at the same time. Easy and cheap!

        • countrylady2002

Yes, I so agree with you and what’s better for your body is normally better for your wallet in the long run!

      • Regina from Tuscaloosa

ALWAYS do separate transactions if there are RR coming back. Remember too, you can not use RR on the same item that the RR came from.

        • cheryl

Thanks Regina! I didnt know that

  2. Melissa

You will only get the register reward for one pack if you buy two at a time

    • Jesse

Wish I had known! I just bought one box (of the wipes pictured in this post so I know it was the right one) and no RR. Bummer!

      • Melissa

I did to. Im in Ny and the only ones with the rr were without the tub : (. I got the last three packs and the were 2.79 not 2.49

  3. Linda

I just got 4 packages for $.80 tax! Yay for free baby wipes for my friend with 2 little ones.

  4. squarejellybean

the deal works here in central Ca. got me a few boxes thanks for the info!!! 🙂

    • Annie

Can you specify the city? I’m in Central/Northern CA also 🙂

      • squarejellybean

Fresno Ca and the deal worked. I did 3 different transactions and they worked Yay

    • Jeanie

I got mine too! In Tulare and in Visalia.

      • Ana

Hi i’m from visalia too…did you get more than one RR in the same transaction or you had to do different?

      • Rachael

Aww I miss Tulare we just visited last week for farm show. We live in Oceanside now I am going to go see if there is anything left this afternoon and see if it works. I do not prefer huggies for diaper changes but they are great for faces and hands. 🙂

        • Rachael

Big FAT NOPE the shelves were wiped clean in Oceanside CA! The sad thing is that they had just gotten a new shipment this morning! Two I just wanted two….

  5. Christina

What is a RR? Do you get it instantly or is it applied to a future purchase? Thanks!

    • Allison Novess Brittain

It’s applied to a future purchase.

  6. Diana

Does anyone know if this is working at the Walgreens on Hwy 81 in McDonough, GA?

  7. JOY

does anyone know if i can keep getting them one at a time and keep getting $2 RR each time?!

    • tiff

No, you can not roll RR on the same product

    • Amber

Yes, at least in central pa I did. I actually rolled it with the Burt’s bees deals so my oop was zero.

      • Amber

Sorry thought you meant just buying them in separate transactions and just keeping the RRs. You can’t roll the RR from the wipes deal into any Kimberly Clark product. Try rolling it into the Burt’s bees since its the same price $1.99 so u don’t need and fillers and would only pay .49 for the wipes each time.

    • Regina from Tuscaloosa

1 item per transaction and you will get the RR. Deal is working in Tuscaloosa, AL —- I tried the deal on Natural Care and bought 4 of course with separate transactions and I had a Q for each one too. I will use my $8 RR on other items that have RR —- BAM! Roll baby Roll

  8. Kari

    Works in eastern Massachusetts

    • live187black775

Hi Kari, Where r u located?

      • Kari

        Greater Lowell

  9. Gentle

Didn’t work here in TN. I got the Natural Care fragrance free and the rang up $2.49 but no RR. 🙁 these deals never work here and I really needed baby wipes.

    • LC

It worked for me in Nashville TN!!

    • Jesse

Someone above said you have to buy 2 at a time to get the RR. I bought one box (this was before reading the comments here) and I didn’t get the RR either.

    • Gentle

I just drove to the next little town over (I live on the county line so it’s not far) and it worked there, so I got two boxes (separate transactions). Weird how it worked in one city and the next one over it didn’t work. But, I’m happy I was able to get some.

      • Kiki

I got it to work in Murfreesboro, TN.

  10. Melissa

Worked for me Salt Lake City got 2 Thanks!

    • Pam

Which store did you go to in SLC?

  11. DeeDee Rushforth

working in Indiana – got 4 thanks

  12. Tracey

It worked for me this morning in PA…although I had a bad experience with the cashier who said that I couldn’t purchase 6 tubs of baby wipes because I needed to save some for other customers!?!?! I then spoke to the manager who limited me to buying 3 tubs because they didn’t have any more in their stockroom. I told her that I am a weekly Walgreens shopper and no one had ever told me that before! So frustrating! At least I got 3 tubs…every little bit helps with 2 little ones! I just might have to try another store tomorrow.

    • Maria S.

I wouldn’t consider that a “bad experience”. that’s an AWESOME cashier and manager, there should be some left for other customers!

      • Tracey

I only wanted to buy 6….I didn’t have a cart full. When no limit is stated, you shouldn’t be restricted. I have 2 kids and we use baby wipes daily!

        • Maria S.

We use wipes DAILY too, and I went to 2 stores, since I pass them anyways, and only purchased 1 tub of wipes at each one. There is only space for 4-6 of each type on their shelf in the first place, I bought one from each location and left the rest, which was only about 4 becuase that’s all there is room for. I stand by what I said, they had a right to keep stock for other shoppers. Think about this, what if they had already put a limit on someone before you, which then allowed you to buy some. IT’S CALLED COURTESY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • Alycia

I agree with Maria. There’s a reason you only get one RR per transaction. They really only want you to do it once.

          • Anon

Lose the attitude…we are all out to save money here!!!

        • Makayla

Thank you Tracey. Exactly my thought. If I was to walk into Walgreens and want to buy 20 wipes and pay full price, would they care? Especially if there’s no limit stated in their ad. Everyone always pulls out the clearing the shelves card but considering the sales and amounts. If they have a purchase $25 get $5 or like at CVS purchase $30 get $10 and all I want is wipes then so be it. I want to see someone with the last two in their hand hand over one to me. Also, if you find a great deal especially for babies and you only get/ need one, then maybe you don;t even have the necessity to coupon. Just my thought.

        • Heidi

I agree with Tracey…….six boxes of wipes isnt that many. The “other customers” that the manager was saving them for, could have bought another brand if they really needed wipes. This RR sale wasnt even advertised in the paper, and they ere only “free” to people ho had the 50 cent coupon. If Wal-greens wants to limit (which is fine) all I ask is that they put a limit sign on the shelf, I have one store that does that and its very helpful. Its frusterating to get things in your cart and go to the register only to be told that you cant buy it!!!
Tracey, hope you can get more tomorrow!

      • Patty

I agree with Maria, I only buy one of something because I hate when people clear the shelves before me.

        • Christa

The problem is in imposing a limit after the sale is in effect and not being consistent among stores & cashiers. If there’s a limit, it should be clearly stated & fairly imposed. Otherwise, you shouldn’t have to receive grief for buying what you want/need.

        • Heidi

For the people who say they only buy one of something……….do you live next to the store?………if you only buy one, does the price of gas outweigh your one free item?………does your “only buy one rule: for everything or just the free items………..when I do our weekly grocery shopping I very rarely buy one of something…….same goes for my drugstore deals, I rarely buy just one.

          • NiaLee

I agree with Tracey and some of the others here. 6 packs is not unreasonable – especially since no limits were posted next to the product. I bought 6 packs at one store because the manager went to the back and brought them out. I only asked for 3 and she brought me six and said it was no problem to buy them all. The problem isn’t 6 packs of wipes, its that the store didn’t order enough for the sale.

    • Alysha

Six packs isn’t bad at all… But maybe u could just walk in again and do the transaction again?

  13. Shanshan

Will pass on this. Last night almost went to Walgreens then I thought, why go thru the trouble to get free stuff I don’t need, and later having to deal with giving it away? I should leave them on the shelves for others who does need it.

My 7 yr old said to me yesterday, “MOM, I think you should stop buying things. Coz there’s stuff everywhere.” I think she’s right. I should stop buying things, unless it’s something we can use in the near future.

    • Patti

      good thought.

    • JGW

Thank you Shanshan! Leave for people (like me) with a baby that will use!

  14. Shan

All out at three stores. They said people have been buying ten to fifteen each and said they are going to start putting limits, which im personally happy about. I try to only buy a couple to be considerate of others regardless if I could use more:)

    • Laura

I agree… I’m not a fan of shelf clearers… just to do it.. I have two babies.. Free wipes is awesome… but I’ve worked all weekend and I know when I go tomorrow if I can… I doubt there will be any left… Even with 2 babies I would only buy a couple… just to be respectful…

    • Christa

Again, it’s the store’s fault if people are buying 10-15 b/c they are the ones that imposed no limit in the first place. Then imposing a limit after the fact makes even more unfair since some people could buy unlimited & others might be stuck with only 1 or 2.

  15. estela

i went to one of the walgreens on my area to get the coffee boxes and they told me i could only get one register reward for same item they had a sign so she didnt let me do a separate transaction i would like to get the wipes but they might not let me get more than one might have to try a different walgreens.

  16. Samantha

Went to my local walgreens earlier and there was a lady there who got every single one of the huggies wipes. I overheard her say to someone that she didn’t need them, she was only getting them because she could get them for free. I was with my 2 small kids and wanted the same deal, but she beat me to it by seconds. I thought she would be nice and at least give me 1 or 2 of the 15 packs of wipes she had, but no. The point of my story is people need to stop being so greedy! I have a 1 year old, a 3 year old, and we are a single income family. I would have really appreciated that one pack of wipes and unlike the lady who took them all, I could have used them!! I’m sorry, but that kind of stuff makes me so mad!

    • Jeanie

Agreed! Sorry that happened to you. 🙁

    • Shan

I think it’s people like that that will ruin the deals for everyone else. Stores are going to change there policies and be more strict, which is good but it hurts everyone else in the process.

    • Crystal

My heart goes out for you. I am in a similar situation with single income and two little ones. I strongly believe that if you are not going to use it in your family then don’t get it. Unless you just can’t help yourself then only get a few and donate them.

      • Samantha

It wouldn’t have bothered me as bad if I knew she actually needed them. It’s almost like she was bragging when she was talking about being able to get them all for free and that’s what made me so mad. My husband doesn’t make a lot of money, but we get by…and we can afford baby wipes and diapers and all of that stuff, but a free pack (or two) of wipes would have been nice! LOL Maybe one day when she really wants a deal, someone will beat her to it and take every one of them right in front of her and she will know how it feels. 🙂

      • Erin

Agreed. I get so tired of hearing people justify greediness by saying they’re donating it. I think the shelf-clearing “donors” are gratified by the attention they receive. If they are indeed donating the stuff and not reselling it.

        • monique

Agree! Then they should start their “donation” process when they see someone walk up on the empty shelf.

        • Abby

hear hear. If you work in a church or volunteer somewhere that can use, say, wipes for the nursery or toiletry items for some needy people, ok. But this “I got 30 sets of razors for .10 each and then donated them to the women’s shelter.” Here is your pat on the head *pat-pat*… now here is a smack upside the head *pop for being an inconsiderate sale hog, and I can’t find even 1 of the sale item at 3 different stores. It’s downright rude.

          • Ellie

I love it Abby! I totally agree. Thanks for the laugh.

    • abigail

i completely agree with you! it is so frustrating. sorry that happened to you. 🙁

  17. DeAnna

I haven’t tried this deal yet because I haven’t seen anyone in Oregon confirm. Anyone out there from Eugene and tried?

Also, my Walgreens started limiting RR’s to once per day because of the really rude shelf clearers that come in on Sunday morning and take everything. I am personally glad they did this.

    • Judith

it worked for me in Salem, OR, I bought 2 of the Sensitive ones, and the RR printed both times just fine…

  18. Jenna

    works in arkansas!

    • MA

      Where in AR?

      • Sarah

I just did it tonight in Searcy, AR and it worked perfectly if that helps!!

  19. jen

The “one and done” refill packs work, too. At $2.99.

  20. Ericswifeowensmom

    Is this a rolling RR?

    • Lisa

You can roll it with the Burts Bees Cough Drops

      • ericswifeowensmom

        Thank you, Lisa.

  21. Kelly

Working in SW PA. Only had 5 on the shelf so I only grabbed 3, but I may have to check for the other varieties that are reportedly working.

  22. Jerin

Curious to know if this works in Oregon as well

    • Kiki

      look up

  23. ANGELA

HAS IT WORKED FOR ANYONE IN AZ YET?

    • Elaine

      It worked in Chandler.

  24. Gaby

My store was cleared of the wipes. 🙁

  25. Leslie

Has anyone had any luck in KY?…Specifically Louisville??

    • VictoriaF

Yes, it’s working in Louisville as well. I bought 3 refills, left another three for someone else and they were gone in a minute. Hope they will put more on shelves tomorrow.

  26. Amanda M

Went to my local walgreens and they were priced at 3.99 wen with a 2RR i did not think it was worth it 🙁

    • Jesse

Mine said $3.99 on the shelf, but rang up at $2.49, fyi.

    • Makayla

The shelf says 3.99 but their ad states 2.49 😀

      • Amanda M

Thanks ladies, will go back tomorrow to check 🙂

    • Sarah

My store also didn’t put up the signs that it was on sale, but the ad said $2.49 and they rang up $2.49. My store often doesn’t put signs up on sale items (not sure if it is laziness or forgetfulness…….) so I always check the ad and check as they are ringing me up.

  27. cindy

So, you get only one per one transaction correct???

  28. Maria

It was working in S. Texas yesterday but just tried at lunch and didn’t work.

    • Phaltu

Its did not work in Virginia either, you think its dead too?

      • Maria

I guess so, these hot/unadvertised deals don’t normally last long!

  29. Phaltu

I just tried to get the wipe and it did not work, looks like its dead!Such a bummer, I really needed some of the wipes :(!

    • Erin

Yeah, I think the deal died around five or six (EST) last time, too. I was thinking about getting some after dinner.

  30. mary

what kind did you all get that didn’t produce the RR?

  31. Crystal

    Works here in OK! 🙂

  32. CJ

Yea! Deal worked here in Central FL. Got 72 ct Natural Care/Frag Free for $2.49-.50q! Thank you. Don’t need wipes anymore, but I love these to fill baby gift baskets.

    • Sunshine Saver

Where in Central Florida?? I am in Cocoa and would love to know if this deal is working. I have a niece pregnant with twins and she isn’t able to work right now either. Thanks for the heads up!

      • Makayla

It should be working in Cocoa. I did it in Viera and Melbourne. 😀

  33. Jessica

I just got back from my Wags here in Oklahoma, still working on the soft packs and tubs for the soft skin soft pack (barcode ends in 31867) and the soft skin tub (barcode ends in 18976). As mentioned, it does not work on the ones that say “lightly scented” on the label.

    • Jessica

You can roll this $2.00 RR with the cough drops, but remember to grab a filler (laffy taffy) in order to avoid the beepage for the $2.00 RR over the $1.99 Subtotal.

  34. dez

it work in silver spring maryland, I got 3

  35. Sarah

I purchased the Soft Skin at my Walgreens this morning and the RR did not print out.

  36. dez

Sarah you got the wrong soft skin, it 1 type

  37. Danielle

I don’t shop at Walgreens much so I don’t know their rules. I know they limit to one deal per day. So could I go each day and buy a pack, anf pay for the wipes with RR (from the previous day) and still get the RR from the one I’m buying that day? I hope that makes sense!

    • Amber

Hi Danielle you can’t use the wipes RR on more wipes. Basically you can’t use any RR to purchase the same item or even a roduct from that company so for ex. the RR that prints for the wipes is for Kimberly Clark products so you would not be able to use the RR ona ny other kimberly clark product and get another RR. What I did was buy 1 wipes and then use the wipes RR to pay for the burts bees drops, then used the burts bees RR to pay for another wipes and so on. Oh, and walgreens does not normally have limits so you can get as many as you like of any of the deals unless the store decides to limit something themselves – but no shelf cleaning lease 🙂 Oh and if you need the wipes I would check now as the unadvertised deals usually only last a day or so if that before walgreens stops with the RR’s.

  38. chelle

I called to see if I could get some, and the employee I usually coupon with said that a lady had some in to buy them and was in the process of clearing the shelf and after the 4th transaction the RR stopped printing.

  39. tawuwuth

    how about in Socal??

    • Dara

I got some early this morning in North Hollywood,
and it worked for me. Not sure it still will, though!

    • Ericka

Got some in Santa Ana! 🙂 natural care refill worked. Rolled with the belvita crackers. Yum!

      • tawuwuth

yehey.. i just got it too here in santa monica.. i was so worried that there might be changes or they will cancel the RR. didnt get the belvita though, forgot to bring coupons.

  40. Regina from Tuscaloosa

Deal is working in Tuscaloosa, AL —- I tried the deal on Natural Care and bought 4 of course with separate transactions and I had a Q for each one too. I will use my $8 RR on other items that have RR —- BAM! Roll baby Roll

  41. Mary

It ISNOT Working in Virginia And Parts of MARYLAND are NOT working on this deal

  42. Priscilla

I purchased a pack of pull-ups (also getting a $2 RR) in the same transaction as the wipes. I only got 1 $2 RR. Did I need to do the transactions separately for that? Or is it just that the RR is not working in my area (since it was said that it was regional).

    • Tabby

IMO I think the huggies diaper deal is triggering the wipes deal so it wouldn’t print the RR for both.

  43. Stacy

    Worked just now inVA

    • Stacy

worked in Hampton Roads area VA

  44. Olivia Douglass

Worked for me in Waldorf, MD!! 🙂 Thanks a ton, working on a baby shower gift basket for my sister, these deals sure do help.

  45. nina

Worked for me in metro detroit!

  46. Leah

I just bought some in Fort Worth, TX and it didn’t print a RR.

  47. Amy ODonell

I did my good deed for the day. I was at my walgreens and getting 3 packs of wipes. Then I saw another obvious couponer there who took the remaining 3 directly in front of a mom there with two little ones. The mom with kids asked if she could have one and the lady told her no, she got there first. After I checked out I waited in the parking lot for the mom and handed her all 3 of my boxes. We’re not out yet and she looked like she needed some sunshine. Couponers remember: be kind to one another.

    • Makayla

Good for you and for her! Yay! 😀 It’s nice to see this every once in a while. That would;ve probably been me with a whiny toddler a five year old and a belly. 😀 I bought some hairdye at CVS for better than free and kept the gift cards but gave lots of hair dye to the seniors in my community.

    • Patty

very nice act of kindness…..what a blessing for you.

    • Ashley

That was so nice of you!

    • Erin

      That was so nice!

      • Holly

I think it is SO wonderful when people are willing to share their deals with others! How great of you both!

    • abigail

      that is awesome, Amy!! 🙂

    • Houstonmama

      Amy, YOU ROCK! :))

  48. Erin

I just purchased two in Central Michigan, sign stated a price of $2.99 I did a price check and they rang up for $2.49 and received the register reward.

  49. Sandee

Worked for me in Westland MI!!! Thanks to you all!

  50. Patty

I just purchased wipes in Kingsport, TN for $2.49 AND received $2 RR. Sign showed price as $3.99 so I asked cashier to check the price. Showed up as $2.49 ……checked out and received RR for 2.00….used coupon so free is good. Thanks so much Colleen. I appreciate you. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
