If you’re wondering what a House Party is..
Well, a House Party is thousands of parties across the country, hosted by people like us. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand (such as Sargento) and focuses on something cool that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends. Basically a House party let you share the products you like with all your friends, free of charge! Companies love to promote these type of events because it spreads the word about their products.
What free stuff will you receive?
That all depends on the specific brand your throwing the party for. Each brand has their own unique Party Pack filled with all kinds of free stuff to make your party a success!

I got this email today too and was wondering what the “surprise” would be…
I’m guessing the actual machine! It’s a new product, not even available to purchase yet. It would be hard to have a party for it without the machine! 🙂
I think the surprise would be the machine. However, the VUE has been available to purchase for awhile since before Christmas – I know a couple of people who got one. The pods are wider and flatter than the K-Cups and are not compatible to one another.
I was thinking it must be the machine…how else could you host a party for the machine without one? The application didn’t ask if you have the Vue, which would have been a qualifier if they weren’t planning to send you one. I SOOOO hope I get this one!!! 🙂

I am so in love with House Party. I have gotten about 12 parties so far and love them all.
This is only the third party I have applied for. Those of you who have been accepted before, are the extra activities really helpful? I want in this one so much I might actually do some this time.
I applied to 7 in almost 8 months and finally got my first. It doesn’t hurt to do the extra activities.
I just wonder if a rep has to come to your party with the brewer? Someone mentioned on FB that MIGHT be a possibility. That would be kinda weird to me…having a stranger hang out at your house with your family and friends. Has anyone ever had a rep come to their house for a party? What was it like?
Highly doubt they have 1000 “reps” to drive to each location and stay for the party! That would cost more than the machines. Lol people hilarious!
I have never had a rep come to one of my parties. I have only hosted three though. I cannot imagine they would send out reps accross the country. That would be extremely costly. I think it would be a waste of time and resources on their end….however, we do agree in the application process to the possibility of a rep and cameras being present at any party….so it is always a possibility I suppose….although I highly doubt it.
They did that for the Red Baron Pizza Party a couple years ago. They had all of the pizzas delivered instead of sending freebie coupons. It wouldn’t surprise me 🙂
I should mention that it was one rep for our area and he delivered them a few days before the party. SO it IS a possibility that they will personally deliver something, but not all that likely that they will stick around.

I would love this one! I have been so curious about these machines but I have not wanted to put out the money on one yet. I have an espresso machine I use for lattes and I no longer use a regular coffee machine because I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee. I never realized these machines can do tea and hot chocolate.
Dawn, my mom, sister, and grandma all had a Kuerig and I always had to have coffee when I went to there house so I treated myself with my income tax refund this year and it was the best investment I’ve made! If you’re the only coffee drinker and you like espresso, tea, and hot chocolate it’s perfect for you! I use mine all day, every day! Coffee in the morning and tea before bed!
I also doubt they would send a rep to each party since they are accepting 1000 people. I hope the “surprise” is the machine too! It almost has to be since it isn’t available in the stores yet and the application asks if you have a Kuerig, but k-cups are not campatible with the Vue. I’ve applied for about a dozen parties and only been accepted for one. I hope this is my second! 🙂
I think it probably is the machine. I did the Margaritaville party in 2008 and they gave me a free margarita machine. It would have been hard to talk about the machine without being able to make one! I hope I get this one too but I’m not holding out much hope since they are only picking 1000 and I just got the Benefit cosmetics one.
Congrats on getting the Benefit House party! I didn’t get selected, but I so wanted to! I hope it’s a lot of fun!

This party makes me so excited… I just got selected to host a different party, so I hope they will select me for this one too. I have noticed, that I really only get selected for a party every 3-6 months (no matter how many applications I fill out). I have always wanted a Keurig. This one would be awesome since it’s the single cup. It would make the perfect little addition to my classroom!
I have been a member for about 2 years and I had the chance to host 3 parties.
Party # 1 Was a DJ Hero Party for the Wii. They sent me 2 Wii DJ Hero games and 2 dj turntables.
Party # 2 was for Sabra Hummus.
Party # 3 was for House Hunters from HGTV
I did a Chef Boyardee party last year….they sent 10 free coupons for their product, party favors of paper writting pads and coupons for product. Think they sent receipe cards and a ‘chef’ hat, too. It was fun….even though the coupons for their product did not work at my local Krogers…..
I have done 3 house parties as well over the last 2-3 years. I was selected to host a Family Game Night from Hasbro, Freschetta, and Sabra. All have been a lot of fun, and really cool products and/or items for my kitchen. Hope I get selected for this one or the Nicholas Sparks Potluck.

I found out today that I was accepted for a party too!!! We are doing a pajama play date with my mommy group so the kids can play and we get our much needed morning coffee 🙂 It said in the email that Keurig will be sending the hosts a new Keurig Vue .. wooo…hoooo!!! We need to keep our eyes open for good deals on the Keurig Vue cups!
